THE REZILLOS - TOP OF THE POPS (REVOLVER)

On this date in 1978, THE REZILLOS played a farewell gig at the Glasgow Apollo, (December 23rd, 1978).
Beset with internal arguments and diverging musical interests, The Rezillos decided to call it a day at the end of 1978, holding their farewell gig on December 23rd, 1978.
Joining the band at Glasgow Apollo were Gail Warning and William Mysterious (back on sax), the band performing previously classic covers including 'Ballroom Blitz', 'Land Of A Thousand Dances', and the Kinks' 'I Need You'. Between these were a plethora of Rezillos classics, all of which would be issued on the live album, ‘Mission Accomplished...But The Beat Goes On .’
