I've upscaled and colourised the 'See Emily Play' promo video.
The video is actually a promo film of the single's B-side 'The Scarecrow' with the group miming the song in Brussel's Parc de Laeken (Laeken Park) in mid-February 1968.
Released as their second single in June 1967, SEE EMILY PLAY was written by original frontman Syd Barrett and recorded on 23 May 1967.
It was released as a non-album single, but appeared as the opening track of the U.S. edition of the band's debut album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn.
The B-side of the single was THE SCARECROW.
Following the addition of David Gilmour in the lineup in January 1968 the band decided to remove Syd a few weeks later and continued with their busy schedule.

Sound is different, Syds voice also and song is a little bit faster. Other than that, everything is good, especially the fact that the colourbtape really gives realistic impression on the watcher.

Watching this video and their top of the pops first appearance bothers me so much. Syd is so full of life and vivacious. It's so sad to know how he ends up.

And they had real genuine smiles on their faces. Nowadays every facial expression is choreographed

Is it possible to have the video in its original 4:3 format? (you cropped it to have it square so you lost some parts of the image)

I'm guessing that you remastered this video at the correct speed and CZcams which is pissing everyone off right now has sped the video up with pitch correction it's doing the same thing with my videos on my CZcams channel. Really excellent with the colour.

I always wondered why Rick's hair on the cover of Piper appeared brunette? He was naturally blond.
He wasn’t, Rick naturally had dark hair. It’s just during filming of this music video he had some dyed blonde strands.
