- ELVIS PRESLEY performing TROUBLE in the 1958 movie KING CREOLE
I've just colourised these iconic scenes from the movie. What do you think?
Directed by Michael Curtiz and produced by Hal B. Wallis, King Creole starred Elvis Presley, Carolyn Jones and Walter Matthau and was based on the 1952 novel 'A Stone for Danny Fisher' by Harold Robbins.
Elvis later said that playing nineteen-year-old Danny Fisher who gets mixed up with crooks and involved with two women was his favourite movie role.
In the film, Elvis sings the Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller blues number TROUBLE, a song that impresses Charlie LeGrand (Paul Stewart), the honest owner of the King Creole nightclub, who offers Danny a job as a singer at his club. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Great scene from the movie and superb job on the colourising - you've given it a fresh look. Just out of interest is the speed on the intro of the song changed only Elvis sounds deeper on that part.
I hear it. Not the speed: the pitch.
I realize I'm kinda off topic but do anybody know a good site to stream new series online?
@Dennis Terrell i use FlixZone. Just google for it =)
@Dennis Terrell Lately I have been using Flixzone. Just google for it =)
This is brilliant great job man I wish the whole film was in colour
Amazing! Looks great..
Love it in colour like a new film
Wonderful Paul ! Thanks a lot for sharing it with us. Although the speed isn't quite right, your job really renews the watching and listening pleasure. Can only wish for more like this !
This is one Elvis movie I don't mind being in B/W. It adds to the griddiness. However, good job on the coloring.
Voice is altered to sound lower.
Elvis was great in all his early films Loving you jailhouse Rock King Creole flaming star kid Galahahad all great movies and performances those movies actually better than James Dean's Elvis was great at playing a rebel better than James Dean and just as good as Brando could have done so much more with the right management great natural actor great scean his early movies deserve way more credit than they get
Kid Gallahad was kinda weak but the others you mentioned are all great
Nice to see this in color. However, I noticed that the audio is making Elvis' voice a semi-tone deeper than the original recording. I know what this song should sound like and it's just a little off. Good job colorizing though!
Good job ..can you please tell me what program or software you used? Thank you.

Voice is low to original.
It sounds ridiculous at the beginning!
