This is one of my favourite songs but i have lots of favourite songs.
The funeral took place on my 12th birthday. I have been a fan of Elvis for 44 years. Its a shame Elvis never got to tour the UK and there are lots of "STORIES" out there but hey that's life.
My love of music covers what my late parents liked. My mom loved Frank Sinatra in the main and my dad just wanted to be Dean Martin. They listened to music from the 60's and 70's so i carried on with that genre and this included Elvis
I have been watching lots of videos of Elvis and he crammed a lot into his short life but only now have i realised how many shows he did in the early years when he "made it big" with Scotty and Bill. In one video i saw a picture with show dates, times, venues all over the place and it showed a whole month's worth of them and there were 2 shows a day. 56 shows and maybe for their petrol money they would do an extra show in the same town.
Elvis IS/WAS my IDOL There is no one before, during or since, that i could name in the music world today that comes close.
The music industry artists today are so fickle.
Is there anyone today that could tour like ELVIS?
But those were different times, different people and the world has to move on in music terms BUT

From doing re-search I believe Elvis, during this concert wore a white full piece suit like in the picture.

Chances of him standing are low, he probably sat on a stool because he played his guitar. So I’d say sitting.
