To be able to win the European Cup 10 years after the Munich disaster is something out of this world.
and to win 4-1 against THIS Benfica side on top of that, AND being the first English club to win it is just... wow, GGMU
Rip so sad
fkin yes
City will never be bigger than us
Such meaningful history cannot be forgotten, its beautiful really the comeback story with Charlton, Law and Best. A horrible disaster that was redeemed.
RIP Bobby Charlton. Players can only be judged on their era, and there were some of the best players in the world at that time playing that night and Bobby Charlton was one of them.
Sir Bobby Charlton Legend From Japan 🇯🇵
Eusebio was applauding the MU goalkeeper for the defense, my respect.
Top 5 player all time
1) DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA
2)LIONEL MESSI
3) JOHANN CRUJFF
4)ROBERTO BAGGIO
5) PELE'
BEST was a player out of any ranking .... UNIQUE personality.

No way you’ve put Baggio above pele 🤦♂️
@@lucabevilacqua1001 Maradona is overrated, i dont hate Maradona but he is so overrated
@@lucabevilacqua1001no Jimmy Johnstone ,no ?
I think he was just embarrassed about missing. I found it a bit cringeworthy, to be honest.
Eusabio was a class act and full of respect for his opponents. You don’t get players with respect like him anymore
Pele would beg to differ
Eusebio was a pure Genius.
No, now you get players who are apparently the 'greatest of all time', never mind now, going up to opposition managers after they win and arguing with them, cupping their hands to their ears, making them look like a bigger clown than they already look with their long shorts and short legs.
@@countbasi4680 Messi?
@@countbasi4680 the managers deserved that tho. Constant misbehaviour from staff and disrespect from various players, they deserved much worse than just a mockery from the undoubted goat. Poor class and clownery from the Holland side
George Best once said (ten years after the 1968 European Cup final) “This is easy. This is wonderful. I had expected to win at least two or three in the next six years but I didn’t expect this to be just the one.”
Some serious talent on the pitch. Coluna, Eusebio, Best, Charlton, Stiles.............

Charlton was a great player
Charlton was a top 5 United player ever. But there’s only one best and it’s Georgie.
@@bridges4232 Bobby is easily top 2
@@ocbb4441 I’d place Cantona and Best over him. Then Ronaldo and Rooney, then Keane.

In perfect Technicolor!!.
Alex Stepney was a wonderful goal-keeper. A pity they missed the build-up to Best's goal.
They look like they are going to fall when you see them running
Thanks for the upload. This is the first time that I got to see George Best turn out for United.
Forever sir Bobby Charlton ❤

Best was simply the greatest of all time
3:25 that save !!
No gloves as well is crazy
Bobby Charlton Man U Greatest player! George Might best!
I remember this as if it were yesterday, back in the days before football tribalism. Everyone, as the commentator says, was behind United - and I say this as a Liverpool fan of 55 years standing. That team played the kind of football that any football fan - regardless of loyalty - couldn't help but appreciate; and it was managed by a true gentleman of the game. Magnificent!
Dream team !
The Busby babes! Legendary! GGMU from Russia! I'm familiar with United history for years! Supporting this team since Fergie era (2007/8 season)
Love this colour version of the highlights, good stuff!
Out of all the sports I feel like football players hold up the most historically sure everyone is more athletic today with modern everything but what some of these historic players can do would still be magical today
Te amo Manchester United
Great match!
THE NIGHT OF NIGHTS.GLAD I WAS THERE. TOOK ME TILL SATURDAY TO GET MY VOICE BACK.
RIP sir Bobby real United legend glad I could say I saw you alive what a player 🕊
The strips look far classier without all the sponsorship logos and the fancy graphics.

Great teams !! Glorious Benfica! 🔴⚪️
What a night George’s finest
Legendary footage
Its amazing to think that best only scored 1 goal against england and 1 goal against scotland in the 8 years he played against them! But its well known best scored a brilliant goal at hampden against scotland in 1969 as the ball came to him at 90mph like a shot and george was about 15 to 16 yards out but in the rain soaked hampden he just controled it with his phy and let it drop to then put it into the bottom corner. The referee thought there was no way any player could have controled a ball like that to let it drop to then slot it home. He said best used a hand. If you watch it again its clear best didnt use a hand when he brought it under control, it is one of the best goals i have seen at hampden. In the way how fast the ball came at best? It was like a shot, it looked too low to be a cross. And that would have won the game at 2-1 as best set up the first goal. But he ran them ragged that night again. And the famous goal against england at belfast in 1971 when gordon banks went to kick the ball up field and as he threw it into the air george struck like a viper and knocked it over him then the two of them chased it like two school boys in the play ground with banks trying to pull best back, but best got to it first then headed it into the net! "NO GOAL" said the referee, but didnt clearly know why? As he didnt see what happend as he ran up field with his back to play wich is pathetic. The ref has to run backwards to watch the play at all times! He did admit later on thats why he didnt allow it becouse he never seen what happend, thats pathetic. But thats how bad refees were in those days, they were like amature refs and thats an insult to amature refs as so many were brilliant and better than these old lazy fat cats. But i would advice you to watch the whole of the 1968 european cup final and you will really see why george best is the greatest ever. The way they kept trying to kick him off the park, and the way best just dancend past them with ease. And the way he showed he was the greatest at dribbling, as pele could dribble but never with the simplicity as best did and how best had total control not just with the ball when beating men but also over his own body. And the way he went round the keeper in extra time took so much courage to do that alone and at a time when most had nothing left in the tank. Then that goal gave them that boost that made them run riot. Maradona could dribble like best, and is the second greatest i have seen!
Glory glory Man united 🇾🇪
Best video
Sir Bobby has seen it all. Rip Mr. Manchester United
Here, after reading "Living the dream" chapter from Best's biography, it seems so good watching this after reading it from his perspective.

The commentary is cracking me up man "mighty best" 😂
is the 1967 European Cup Final Available Inter Milan v Celtic F.C?
Amin Ahmed So is my son.. They are beginning to look good under Van Gaal.. But i think Moyes should have been given the time that Alex Ferguson was given to build his team.
So do I, you never know how good Moyse´s team would look after a couple of years. However i think LVG is the better man for the job more experienced and and knows how to manage a top club like UTD to glory

Did the goalkeepers wear one glove only? Two gloves? No gloves? Or they kept changing during the game? I am sure i saw both keepers with and without gloves.
Is it just me or does George Best play like Cristiano Ronaldo?
Er...not quite. Ronaldo wishes he were that good.
Yes,I know,I lost ,but tomorrow is a New Day 😊
Did… did he just say… SOCCER?? 🤮🤮🤮
England invented and used the term until around the 70s
@@Bdjkxmxn no, no they didn't
For nearly a hundred years after it was coined, soccer was an accepted and uncontroversial alternative in Britain to football, often in colloquial and juvenile contexts, but was also widely used in formal speech and in writing about the game.[8] "Soccer" was a term used by the upper class whereas the working and middle classes preferred the word "football"; as the upper class lost influence in British society from the 1960s on, "football" supplanted "soccer" as the most commonly used and accepted word.
