It's the first time I've heard David Coleman's ecstatic commentary for Bill Foulkes's astonishing (and unlikely!) goal since i watched the match 'live' on TV as a boy all those years ago! The footage occasionally gets shown but never with the commentary. I'd always assumed it had been lost. So glad it hasn't. Truly classic Coleman!
You can see the reason why he was the Ballon d'or winner in 1968. The close control on the touch line to set up Bill Foulkes equaliser was simply sublime. George Best was a gift from the Gods. RIP Bobby Charlton.

Indeed classic Coleman, although he toned it down a bit post 1970 and the colour era.
And Denis Law, in the Manchester United dugout, broke his hand when he punched the roof after Foulkes' goal.
2 great assists from Best. One with his head, one with a run down the wing. He scored the only goal in the first leg as well.
