5th March 1966: First of four season-defining games involving Manchester United that were broadcast by the BBC over the next few weeks. Following these games history will show that Matt Busby's team have peaked too early and will now have to wait another two years to win the European Cup. In this first game United face promotion chasing Wolves at Molineux and will have to dig deep in a classic high scoring 5th Round FA Cup tie. A nice side bar is Wolves new upcoming star Peter Knowles attempting to become the new Georgie Best with the great man playing.
