What are you most looking forward to in Horizon Forbidden West? Exploring the gorgeous world? Fighting fearsome machines? Or will you be spending hours in photo mode (like us)?
For once I actually ordered a collector's edition of a game. Mostly looking forward to getting that robot dino statue.

My first thought when I saw the water: Rob is never going to leave the water, HE IS GOING TO LIVE THERE!
That was my first thought too.

I love the way when Rob describes graphically breathtaking landscapes he sounds like a man showing us around his beloved garden that he’s spent years perfecting.
What I'm most looking forward to is simply walking around. Horizon Zero Dawn did something unbelievable regarding how breathtakingly stunning the environments are, but another thing it did exceptionally well was how light and natural movement feels. I'm not even talking about climbing, or diving, or the new glider Aloy acquires. I will never get over how realistic she looks when she's running or walking. The fact that she's not always placing her feet in a straight line like a robot but kind of does little side steps, like a real person running, how responsive her movement is to the player moving the thumbsticks, it all feels so good and I don't know any other game that makes something as basic as moving around feel nearly this good. I spent hours in Horizon just walking through forests, running through the desert on foot or squeezing through little gaps in the ruins of Devil's Thirst (I never knew the lack of invisible walls between the dilapidated grilles of the skyscraper's windows could be this exhilarating for the player) and I hope to do even more of that. Thanks to everyone in Guerilla for creating this masterpiece!

The movement in Ghost of Tsushima is similar. It’s not just 2 different speeds of walking, Jin actually has a different pace for every movement of the stick
On that note, she runs super weird. Like, she has the most unpractical form when running, her entire body kinda just flails while leaning forward
Ash: It actually made me feel a bit uncomfortable, cause bodies of open water make me a bit like "ooh".
Rob and Dave: So, coming up soon Ash will be playing Subnautica.
Would love to see this, my brother has Thalassophobia and watching him try to play was hilarious. He stuck with it though cause I kept telling him how good it was (loved the original, below zero was ok)
When I heard Ash talk about the water, my first thought was of Subnautica.
I'm pretty sure she was on the stream when Rob played Subnautica. She spoke about her fear/discomfort of the water then

I still remember the first time I discovered the channel was Rob and Dave playing HZD and hunting down a Thunderjaw and a Stormbird. It's almost 5yrs since then. wow :)
I knew Rob would lose his mind over the water graphics/physics. Even in the first game they were stunning. This time around they are unbelievable!
These kinds of videos do more than any game review. People you like gushing over the things they love in a game you’re interested in. What more do you need?
One thing that I feel get slept on the most in Horizon, is the game’s music. I hope HFW will be able to capture that like in the first one.

And just this week, fresh in, i finally got my PS5, too. The release of Horizon 2 was thedate i definitely wanted to have one for at the latest. So... perfect timing. And i can't wait to jump back into this world. Additionally, I'll have two weeks time off work at the start of March (not intentionally chosen for the release of Horizon 2, that one's just a happy coincidence), so i already know where i'm gonna go on vacation.

I really like how the characters all have more of a personality in this game. Erend especially feels a lot less like an npc and more like an actual person

God i cannot WAIT until Friday!!! I even took a 3-day weekend off work amd informed my family I am not available for anything those days. HZD is one of my 2 favorite games of all time (also Persona 5) and Ive been waiting foe this sequel since playing in 2017 and noticing all the hints. HURRY UP FRIDAY!!!

Honestly I think it will be hard not to play in resolution mode after seeing how gorgeous it looks through previews and that's on CZcams videos to boot.
The best part of the glider is its invisibility… you can see its shape but it doesn’t hinder your view of the landscape! Brilliant!
I just cannot get over how beautiful every frame of this game looks! Friday needs to hurry up already!

What a great Tuesday checklist, thanks for sharing what you love about HFW. The intricate details used to explain why you love each entry was amazing and hype inducing. The video is awesome. Great writers, editors, voice over, game capture all done exceptionally well.
I also love Rosie math and my favorite part of all TCLs....the bloopers and outtakes.
I'm glad they've not put some kind of stamina bar on the glider so you can glide indefinitely down rather than needing to build up some stamina and only jump from smaller heights. Good move!
The past few days since all the youtube channels released their reviews are so agonizing and friday cannot come fast enough. I keep checking the place where i pre ordered it to see if they’re not sending it a few days early…

The machine. HZD in ultra mode, even 3 watcher can kill me if I am not prepared.
The people inside the world always scared of the machine and as a player I never felt that fear until ultra mode.
The time i need to find the weakness, type of trap and tactics makes hunting the new machine more fun.

The only bad thing about this game is the mountain climbing. You want to go up and it goes to the side and sometimes Aloy gets stuck in a point when it there are many grabing points around her.

About "our world" in HZD, I loved that "view" points that showed us the real look of the ruins,I think you all knows what I am talking about.
