I have been playing it all day, it s absolutely mind blowing, the way it looks the amount of detail, it s just unbelievably immersive. The cutscenes and characters are amazing! Everything feels so alive!
Yes the world feels so alive... I love being in settlements, there's so much movement, everybody is talking eachother i just love the atmosphere. In some places fells a lot like monster hunter
I 100% agree and with the cutscenes, i nearly teared up talking to Erand, he felt so real to talk to and his performance is incredible.

Can't wait to see what Team Santa Monica can do with their God of War game. These Sony first party games are killing it.
Playing this on PS5 with a 4 k monitor on resolution mode, and I keep just standing around staring at things like moss, or particle effects. This game is literally jaw dropping.
Every time Access talks about Horizon, it is like having Holly back in the office for just a little while.
I can't wait to play some more after work today! Started it this morning and I am in awe of this game.

The combination between Rob & Ash in this episode & commentary & gameplay is phenomenal. Genuine quality from a PS Access Episode this is Excellent. It really shows off what this game has to offer and gives us everything we want from this game.
Playing on PS4 Pro and it looks stunning. The staff at Guerilla should be extremely proud of what they have achieved. First time I have Day One'd since GTA 4 and have no regrets

I have noticed that the characters animations have really evolved since Zero Dawn, they are now so realistic, fluid and interactions are really human like, showing emotions like you would expect in reality.
I had to apply my annual leave just to go ham on my PS5 for this game few days nxt week. It looks riddiculously, absolutely, unbelievably beautiful running on PS5's Fidelity mode in a 4K, HDR display. Every inch of the game is meticulously crafted with such respect & quality. Fun fact: I intentionally bought Digital Deluxe on PS5 because for me Guerilla absolutely deserves my support 😍😍 Horizon 2 is hands down the most beautiful open world game I hv ever played.

Stayed up till five in the morning playing and I can't wait to pull an all nighter again tonight! So much fun. Feels exactly like Zero Dawn, just better everything. It's like I never left.
Nothing has pulled me through a game's levels more than the prospect of flying a sunwing in this game! Flying across the map on a Sunwing is one of the best things you can do in any game.

I just arrived at Plainsong and I actually had to stop playing and just stand there looking at it. I'd imagine if they ever remade Final Fantasy IX, Cleyra would kinda look like this.

Such a beautiful game. I will definitely be picking it up. It's just a shame it came out the same week as the huge Cyberpunk PS5 patch. I've been holding off playing that since I got my PS5 at launch. The saviour of Meridian will have to wait a little while... 🙂
About 2 hours before I can go pick up and get my copy. Can't wait and I have a 3-day weekend, perfect timing.
I don't even own a ps5 only a slim model and I've been majorly impressed and blown away by the amount of detail, quality and immersiveness of this game 🎮 it is definitely on a whole other level visually.

I'm 16 hours into this game, and I haven't even finished the prologue yet! So, you can imagine where my time was spent in the game! Best looking game, and it makes my PS5 purchase worth every single penny!

Also, I spent almost 11hrs out of those 16hrs in the photo mode, captured some cool shots to be uploaded on my vp page! So, before calling anything dumb, use that little brain of yours first and then make such comments! Cheers! 👍

Fantastic game but been playing on the performance mode, the 60fps is a deal breaker for me when playing a game like this and it still looks amazing.

It looks great and I bought it yesterday, I haven't played it yet. Digital Foundry found cutscene stutter to be an issue in the 60fps performance mode on PS5. Guerrilla games is a top company, I m sure they will patch that, won't they?
Yeah, there are plenty shimmering graphics artifacts with performance mode - but for me, it is unplayable in graphics priority mode because of the fps drop - the jittery graphics sets my migraines off.

The game looks good. At least for the 30 min I played it before I went to work at 5am. I have light flickering though. When I jump the grass gets darker or lighter. I can’t remember.

Snowy areas have always been my favorite in games and my wife like to give me s**t about it cause I oogle over it too much lol. I can't help it, love the snow :-)

Why is no one mentioning the texture pop in. I noticed in Zero Dawn as well. Looks incredible, don’t get me wrong, but I’d rather smaller higher quality open worlds. Far cry 3 was the perfect size, in my opinion. Just build up and dig down to make worlds more dynamic and connected.

Hands down the best - but they need to map a quick key button to toggle between graphics and performance. I didn’t get far (only until the opening credits screen … the end of the prelude) last night because I kept stopping to switch graphics for photo mode. 1st world problems, I know. The graphics engine may be out of date - i feel that the PS5 should have been able to handle these graphics at 60fps but then again, maybe not - which is why Elden Ring is getting heat for its graphics. In any case - I’m pretty sure the PS6 will be able to. Ah. Only 5 more years to go for that!

I would say Forbidden West is one of most beautiful graphics game in game history, it take care on many detail and incredible light and shadow, I can't find any game better on console.

@@spenny2cents horizon just hase a diffrent look in collors more popping collors but they al look great but i feel the draw distance in rdr is sharper and further and just more detail in annimation

HFW does for video game graphics, what PlayStation Access does for CZcams videos.
It's gorgeous in resolution mode, but the 60fps performance mode has a lot of room for improvement. A lot of aliasing on foliage. There's a lot of grousing about this on the Horizon subreddit, and for once, it's justified.
To be fair though there isn't exactly a lot to compare it to that's had the same budget and dev time and help from Sony.
