I saw this tonight, and believe me, despite the amount of footage released online...you don't know the half of it. This movie is EPIC.
im amazed how powerful they all are together they leveled that one place where the helicopter landed that must be some power to control

watched this 2 times in 24 hours and today in IMAX 3D and im not tired of it.
Thanos is at the end and its freaking funny when hulk tosses loki around like a toy!!

Seeing loki in this trailer makes him seem more like a misguided and tortured young soul rather than a pure evil villain. Thats cool :P
Just saw the avengers ! now I can watch all these tv spots!
Without spoiling anything, they show you in the post credit scene. If you know much of anything about said villain, and pay attention to the dialog in that scene, then you know exactly who it is.
It can withstand anything. It's whole point is it perfectly absords all blows.
I like the part of the movie when Thor said
"He was adopted."
I was like "haha! Poor Loki!" XD
Exactly. I´ m glad they changed it and that they gave him a kind of dignity and noblesse that is fitting for a god-like Being. He´s NOT talking of Size....

its just that dr. strange isnt usually thought of as an avenger and unless im mistaken he didnt join the team until somewhere around 2008 but the original avengers comics were written in the 60s

Looks like Thor and Captain America are gonna have a big impact of this movie.. Captain america cos he's the captain of the group and Thor cos it's Loki as the bad guy.. THIS. MOVIE. IS. GONNA. BE. EPIC!
I'm not sure about the plot in this movie, but I know from mythology that Thor was not able to use the bifrost because his power was to great and he gave off to much heat. He used his hammer to basically throw himself across the universe/open a portal. Guess it depends on how you look at it. That would be cool in the movie and would explain why Asgard did not send an army.

well it partly depends on whatever the writer wants to do with the character. Hulk has been subdued in some of the comics/films, other times he seems unstoppable. I just dont think anyone is truly unbeatable.

Thor is not a demi god. Thor is a full god. Both of his parents are gods. His father is Odin. His mother (according to the comics) is the elder goddess Gaea, called Jord by Asgardians.
Actually, Thor is the off spring of Odin and some kinda earth spirit according to legend. Frigga who was in Thor wasn't his actual mother even though she loved him like a son, so he is technically a demi-god

The thing that always kind of bothered me about any super team with Thor or Superman in it was that those 2 are so much more powerful than their teammates, they dont really need any help.
only been almost a year since the best movie of all time came out.

actually, the hulk only lifted mjolnir in the ultimate universe, not 616 (The main marvel universe in which most major plot lines transpire) he also ripped wolverine in half (breaking adamantium) in the ultimate universe but that doesnt mean he can do it in the main one. The ultimate universe is just weaker in general.

Also it the shield gets stronger with every impact it receives as it's molecules shift and reform every time it is struck. Also the shield is a vibranium-adamantium alloy. As in Adamantium the same stuff Wolverine's skeleton is made of which is indestructible. So yeah it can take Mjolnir strikes or even Superman's strongest hits.
Thor using all his multiple cosmic powers + magic surpass the strenght of Hulk, Thor with WARRIORMADNESS can destroy worlds easily. he is superior.
Well in the books hulk is a few inches taller I would love if he said "I didn't know you had trolls on earth" when he meets hulk lol
On the other hand if Thor's old man (Odin) wants the Hulk dead, all he needs to do is think about it.
Odin is that powerful that if he chose to, he could wipe out the Hulk with a thought.
I was a fan of both Thor and Hulk long before your mother met your father. I learned more about them in a few weeks than you learned in your lifetime. By the way, Odin always wanted Thor to stand on his own feet. Odin intervened only when Asgard was threatened. Because he chooses not to use that ability, doesn't mean that he can't use it. By the way, learn to spell, and use punctuation.

That's in the comics. In the movies, Thor is the son of Odin and Frigga. And in the comics, Thor is not the son of an earth spirit...she is an elder goddess Gaea...technically a skyfather level being, so, she should be within Odin's power-range.
i wish they would have done that in the movie
