At the start they at least played with belief that they WILL win, kind of like the early 2000's Patriots. That energy caused other teams to shake and make errors at the end of games, whereas their execution improved when it mattered.
Now, if any drive or defensive third down doesn't go their way, they become the ones to shake. Players can't even hide their disproval of playcalls before breaking huddle.

He 100% needs to be on the hot seat. We’ve gotten worse over the course of the season. Our defense never played well. Our offense has far too much talent to be not be blowing teams out. Sloppy play and poor execution game after game. We have Smith and Brown yet the run the most generic routes and rarely across the middle. Swift being taken out for Gainwell is mental. Defending call 2 QB runs and a screen to our backup RB is inexcusable. He doesn’t do anything good. We could easily have a losing record.

It's clear last year's OC and DC really propelled this team. Not the case this year with Desai and Johnson being atrocious. Pretty simple to me, if I'm the Eagles GM I ask every single player on that still very talented roster if they still believe Sirianni is that guy. If that trust and relationship has eroded in these tough times, you move on. Nick shouldn't necessarily be on the hotseat just by record, but the OC and DC absolutely should be.

Yeah, it was a few years after. Statistically, that was nearly unprecedented (aside from Jimmy Johnson getting fired). Super Bowl winning coaches normally don't get fired until at least 5 years after winning it. The word was that he wanted to coach the team his way, and choose his coaches, and the owner and GM were not willing to stop meddling (I'm sure they figure they are the main reason the 2017 team won).

His defensive coordinator should be on the hot seat because their defense is very porous in the middle of the field and the secondary. Injuries on defense have also plagued this team. I'm also an Eagles fan. Realistically, teams usually regress the year after making a Super Bowl. He's got an off-season to get the coordinator situation right, and then we can start talking about hot seats based on how things look next year. Plus this year Howie won't be extending past-their-prime veterans hoping to make another run (same mistake he made after the Super Bowl win). So maybe some of the younger players they're replaced with won't be fading down the stretch like these old guys (that I've got a decade on... Lol).

Imagine how this team would look with a stellar secondary? Imagine corners that can cover. Imagine forcing more 3 and outs. Breaking up passes. Imagine a defense that not only makes offensive scores matter, but bolsters the confidence of the offense? If you are an offense whos defense always pisses away all of your hard work, how long would you play with confidence? Seriously what is the point? Jalen and everyone else on that offense knows that the defense will give back any points they score. It is not sustainable.
This is what Happens when people's contract is up and people want their money (QB especially) you can't keep a team intact for very long so most teams have a small window to win......this is when you need to have good upper management and good scouting to draft well and get the right free agent not alot of teams can do that.....they think you get a bonafide QB and think that's all you need (the Chiefs) they're starting to learn you need more than a bonafide QB but that is the most important position

Not correct on stating only one coach has not had a losing season. John Madden had a winning record every year, and Mike Tomlin has had a few 8-8 seasons, so he has also never had a “losing” season. But Madden is the only coach to have had a winning season every year of his career.

Um he's never missed the playoffs his entire tenure and is coming off a superbowl year. He's earned a couple of losing seasons just due to the superbowl year alone and he hasn't even had one yet.
They have quite possible the easiest playoff schedule in NFL history. Somehow they played the giants and a team with no qb.
