It's not an attack when the person who is making the claim is questioning the validity of his accomplishments when his own accomplishments come on the backs of others. If McCoy never "won" those rings with Brady and Reid, he wouldn't make such a preposterous claim that Reid is a better coach than him and the GOAT.

James Jones is right Andy Reid had TO, Donovan McNabb, Westbrook, Brian Dawkins and more and still didnt win a championship until Patrick Mahomes. For just about the entire run he started in 2000
he literally crafted the roster each year they lost too. BB was there when the patriots were winning or losing, but when TB was there, they were only winning.
Brady was able to win with a lot of "bum" rosters on offense though. Brady covered up for a lot, which allowed Bill to put together some good defenses. And even then, Bill never really crafted some all-time, ALL-TIME defenses.

Shady can sweat as much as he wants, but the two coaches are ultimately in the same boat as far as history goes, only Andy has fewer championships than Bill.

It also proved that Carr is better than him (since he had that offense at 12th in pts/yds with the same roster/system vs 29th/30th). It also proved just how much he was holding down the 9ers as they've dominated teams with a quartet of 1000+ all-purpose yard skill players and that Kyle was propping him up, but Hoyer, Beathard, Mullens, and Lance were so bad they made Jimmy look better than he is.
Come on Shady. You were never scared of their defense but, you also kept losing to them. He contradicted his own point in the same breath. Second, Bill had 2 SB defenses with the G-Men. People forget when Brady got injured in 2008 in the first game of the season. Their backup quarterback was Matt Castle. Bill Bellichick went 11-5 with Matt Castle. They didn’t make the playoffs that year but they still went 11-5 in 2008. So with that being said. I think Bill Belichick had something to do with those championships.
But they were undefeated the season before, the core of the team was still intact. Randy Miss and Wes Welker, beside Matt was in that system for a while. Look what what happened to Matt after the Patriots.

Every single great coach listed at the top.. always had a HOF QB.. every single one.. some of Belichick defenses bailed out Brady’s bad SB performances.

Your last statement was completely false. Those defenses also cost us a lot of chips. See Giants, Eagles, Panthers, Falcons (first 3 quarters), etc. Those defenses were getting torched. Even Seahawks game. Brady had them up by 4 I think it was, and Bill's vaunted defense couldn't stop nothing. It was lucky that Butler had that catch, but that's his play, not Bill's defense that caused the interception. Zero TDs from Brady and only one pass over 20 yards. Bill was no huddling and letting the play clock down to 15 seconds so Goff couldn't get play info from McVay. Bill also disguised coverages, they would come out in zone and switch to man. Or blitz heavy look then drop back to zone. Goff struggled reading the defense all game. People will ignore that and act like Bill was just there for the ride.

James Jones and Acho were spot on. Brady never keeps the starting QB position without Bill. If you were a NE fan, you were expecting Bledsoe gets his job back when healthy. That was a very controversial coaching move. He gave new life and discipline to players like Corey Dillon and Randy Moss who were previously considered immature and distractions. He let Wes Welker go to Denver and little did we know, Julien Edelman was even better. He lost tons of coaches after many successful seasons...not to mention drafting last and trying to manage the salary cap following all those superbowl runs. Finally, and most importantly....watch the playoff games between the Patriots and the Colts. Peyton Manning would have at least 2 - 3 more rings if it wasn't for Belichick and his defenses. That Colts team was unstoppable. It's easy to dog on the guy because he shuns the media and probably caused a lot of pain to many former players and coaches, but there's no question he's the goat.

Something I never hear anyone acknowledge when talking about Andy Reid's tenure in Philly is that he was the beneficiary of being in a godawful division. Every other team in that division was horrible. That being said if you beat every team in division that's 6 wins. 4 more and you have a 10 win season. The Eagles frequently had 10, 11 and 12 win seasons at least until the end. The fact that as James said that Reid only went to one Super Bowl speaks to the idea that maybe Philly wasn't really that good.
That's the excuse that they give for Tom Brady too, yet they don't for Bill... Brady still had to beat other teams in the league in order to get to Super Bowls.

He spent the first 20 seasons of his head coaching career without winning a superbowl. I have to look but I can’t remember any superbowl winning coach going that long before winning their first ring.
