The way to use Link Of Pain is to target an enemy you know has low armor/resistance, link it to a much sturdier enemy, and nuke the weak one.
The damage that will be shared to the tankier unit will bypass its high armor/resistance, dealing much more damage then if you did it by yourself.

cool guide as always! Maybe in addition to detailed guides, you can also make a tier list/which class should I pick type of video, where you go through each class's strength and weaknesses? I think that would make great content.
I definitely want to do something like that in the future, but right now there are still around 10 classes I've not played much or even at all, so I feel I couldn't really do it justice.
@@Drybe I see. Hope your doomed guide comes out soon. It's a pretty interesting class I've tried and I really like its failed mage-turned psionic theme. I'm still learning the game though so I look forward to opinions from experienced players.
@@phillipjiang1593 One important tip on Doomed is, that you can summon an extra shadow, if you either take the Adept prodigy, or put a category point into Cursed/Shadows. Adept also has good synergy with the curses on your items, making them a lot stronger, I find Curse of Nightmares and Shrouds the most useful.

Beaten the game with that class just now and there is one VERY IMPORTANT thing to know.
Apprently, demon summoning is coded like spaghetti in this game and can lead to a very, very bad case of your savefile getting bloated, which by the end game can cause all kinds of "fun" things like game constantly crashing, many LUA Errors, loot disappearing, your "evil clones" appearing and destroying reality and even save-file corruption.
I had to redo the whole High Peak twice because the game crashed after the final fight, and then I couldn't leave the final room for like half an hour due to crashes.
I guess what I want to say is be careful with talents that summon demons, watch your save-file size and make back-ups when playing this class.
Getting ghoul leap from Morrigor is pretty cool, yeah, but how is it being a ghoul for the race?

As a new player I'd really love if you could do a run down of unlockables for races and for the professions. My nickname IRL my friends gave me is "Paladin" and I wonder if there is a class that I could play to reflect this :D
ToME's paladin is called "Sun Paladin" and it's pretty awesome. Unfortunately it's one of the harder unlocks, you need to get to the East map for it.

What mods do you use?
You can see the mod list at 26:03. Better Item Description changes item descriptions, Plenum Tooltip Custom Edit changes enemy tooltips.
I've played a Doombringer but don't think I've done a Demonologist
