Over 80 Million Made To Bankrupt!!! What Happened To LARRY JOHNSON'S Career?

  • Larry Johnson to some was the first Zion Williamson. In college he dominated the competition, winning a national championship. Although many including Nike didn't think he would be a good pro because of his size, his game translated perfectly until his growth was stunted. Along with that, at some point he allegedly lost over 80 million!!! and filed for Bankruptcy. Here's what happened and the lesson to be learned for young hoopers.

    This strong brute was a complete MONSTER!!!!!! Grandma Ma was a force to be reconed with in the game of Basketball. His strength stood out about him playing and he always overpowered his opponent. To this day I remember his spinning move around defenders scoreing was overwhelming. I loved Larry Johnson. He was my favorite college player and had such an amazeing career at UNLV. What really happend to him behind closed doors is the question.

    • @swpdisciple

    • @carlwallace1129
      @carlwallace1129 Před 3 lety

      @@swpdisciple google his college dunks and highlights. He did a 360 windmill in the open court. But about time he got to the nba he'd already put on all kinda of weight and in the older footage he kinda looked goofy but he had a soft stroke from outside the 3point arc but wasnt doing that NBA jam shit after his rookie season but he was a active role player Zion more of a set shooter unproven with crazy hype and bounce we shall see how he pan out

    L J is My All Time Favorite Player.
    Since UNLV when I was 9.
    My All Time Favorite Player pulled up to me and asked me for directions as I was walking out of a corner store in Vegas called Rainbow Market on The East Side, when I was 30yo.
    I was like “ Yoooo .... LJ’s in The Hood , Son! “ and everyone in his Rover started busting out lol
    My Dude asked me for directions to Rancho HighSchool because they held The AAU Tournament there 1yr while The Tarkanian Academy Center was being remodeled.
    Then My Dude got out of his White Range Rover on 24’s and took a pic with me. My Dude. 🙏

    Born and raised in Charlotte NC and watching this city grow especially when we got an NBA team, the Charlotte Hornets were all the rage! Larry Johnson, Alonzo Morning, Muggsy Bouges, Kendall Gill and Dell Curry were so popular in Charlotte but times change and I believe that the Charlotte Hornets have never been as popular and loved like they were back then.

      UNLV stunted growth as a program was UNLV president forcing Coach Tark out in 1992. They went 26-2 in 1992 and won their last 23 games in a row. Tark said in his book that he had Jason Kidd, Jalen Rose, Glen Robinson, and others.

All these grown ups these days talking about their first encounter with the NBA being through Space Jam. The 4 Point Play , baby!
    L J had a full Basketball Career.
    Winning The NCAA Championship, then going undefeated until The Final 4 the following season as Defending Champs, next being The #1 Overall Draft Pick in The NBA , to hitting The 4 Point Play that sent The Knicks to The NBA Finals and being able to hit that outside shot after hurting his back & losing a lot of his bounce that let him play PF down low under the boards @ 6’4” & 1/2.
    Grandmama 👵🏿 L J
