I remember my Dad rented this for me from blockbuster when I asked him to just rent me any game, he knew watched the movie a couple of times on DVD so he got me this and I didn't even play through the first section it was crap lmfao.

I was terrified of this film as a kid when it first came to cinemas - I think it was because my idea of space was "horrifying huge expanse in which you can't breathe and will explode". Also space helmets are creepy

Every once and awhile you make jhokes that remind me why I love this channel so much. The fake Dalek enemy edit to make it say one of my all time favorite dalek Dr who line "WOULD YOU CARE FOR SOME TEA!?". 😂
Cracks me up that the Cardboard boxes are invincible, and the Wooden crates you can kick to pieces.
I can't believe I'm about to say this, but: if your killer robot lacks the firepower to easily bring down a human child, you might want to reconsider its designation.

I was expecting a board game style game to represent the movie. I'm glad I never brought this.
This really shouldn't be what triggers me, but watching the game spew out health tokens from boxes when there is nothing to even hurt you really pisses me off. I don't know why, it just does.
Also, I still enjoy this movie to this day. It's not exactly award winning material but it's a fun enough watch.

This game must have been designed for babies, because there has been no way to take damage, yet the player has been given 7,000 health packs. Also, the dialogue is highly appealing to babies, according to my focus group data, but they didn't enjoy the ratmouse. Except the babies from Jersey. They all loved the ratmouse, and they wanted it to ride a motorcycle, wearing a little red helmet. They suggested a game mechanic where you gave the mouse a cookie.
Dax Shepherd probably did the voice for commander Shepard in Mass Effect. For continuity purposes. Voice over actors like to voice characters that have the same name. It turns them on. Full stop. Edward Carnby, shoot those zombos.
This game is what i played as an infant in my mothers womb. PS Move, that's how. Sixaxis motion controls. As a baby infant, this was the best game. By featuring on this channel, you have ruined my childhood. You and my dad. I bet you guys secretly love this game cuz its the best. 10\10\10.
Also, this game is insulting to midgets. the little brother is clearly a dwarf and not a midget, because midgets have proportional body parts, unlike dwarves.
As a kid, I couldn't even get past the first spaceship level of this crap
The stars parralax is perfectly reasonable! They just did that with New Horizons and it had to travel only a few bn kilometers for it.

And; don't forget, he's also responsible for that awful CHIPS movie with Michael Pena from a few years ago, which tried to be like the 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street movies, and like Hot Fuzz, instead of trying to develop it's own identity, and just had people wondering, "why remake CHIP's?", and the answer was: "because 21 Jump Street was a great movie, so let's rip that off for some reason", and apparently, Dax Shepard had a "good idea", for remaking CHIPS, with Michael Pena, when they didn't. It was just an r-rated version of an old 80s TV show, that either you, your parents, grandparents, or maybe even, your aunt and uncle watched when they were kids, or something like that. I definitely don't like Dax Shepard; he just sucks as an actor. Does anyone legitimately like him in anything? Like, for real?
I saw this in theaters because younger siblings. What a terrible movie that I'm not surprised they made a terrible game out of it.
I liked the film a lot, but it always felt really long.

I do not see the connection to the jumanji (one with Robin Williams), sure its another game, but by that logic you could claim that Gat out of Hell is in same universe.

Never considered this film could link to Jumanji, but noŵ I know I can’t not think about it
Both books were written and illustrated by Chris Van Allsburg, Danny and Walter actually appeared at the very end of Jumanji. Van Allsburg also did The Polar Express, the tie-in game for the movie version of that is even worse than Zathura.
So the book links were clear but they decided to not do that for the films I guess

It sucks that this game is awful, it could have been great given that it's based off of an underrated movie.
Those are some nice crates, but the game is sadly lacking in barrels.

Not bad game design, if you had stood on them boxes before you smashed them you could have the 2 higher boxes in the basement area

Yes, but not really. Both the book Jumanji and the book Zathura, were both written by the same author, Chris Van Allsburg(probably misspelled that, sorry). This book/movie comes after Jumanji, but I prefer Jumanji, because it had Robin Williams in it. Much better. But I've seen Zathura, and both Jumanji movies. They're all pretty good. But other than having the same author, neither Jumanji nor Zathura are connected to each other, story wise. One takes place in space, the other doesn't. But the Jumanji sequel had Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and even Dwanye "The John" Rockson, and it was alright. But one of the reasons I'm saying that is because I really like Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Dwanye Johnson's work, in general. Zathura, while not as good as Jumanji(in my opinion), is underrated, and probably the best thing Dax Shepard has ever been in, and the least annoying thing Kristen Stewart's ever been in(but again, those are just my opinions). But I highly recommend the original Jumanji movie, even though it takes several liberties from the book, but its still one of the best things the late, great Robin Williams starred in; and no matter how much time passes, we'll still miss him, but, I would've recommended Jumanji movies regardless; sorry, if this went on like, forever, or something. I just really liked Jumanji, Zathura, and the Jumanji sequel; Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
I'd completely forgotten this movie existed, I remember it being fun but this game looks awful.
My brother loved this game. I had to help him through a couple sections though, which makes this one of the few "Worst Games Ever" I've actually played at all. Hooray for me...
I would absolutely LOOOOOOOOOVE to see how you guys fare against 'Vampire Rain". Quite possibly the hardest due to horrible design and controls, most broken, disgusting and cringiest games ever released. I tried giving it away to 2nd stores FOR FREE for years and they wouldn't take it!....... you guys will love it! 😂😂😂
