I remember this routine of his. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was taped at Igby's in West Los Angeles. I used to go there back in the 80s. I may have even seen him there.
I saw dennis at a comedy club in Clinton twp Michigan before he was well known and he was AMAZING and it was a shame when I learned he passes away, he was so funny, miss him lots!
I'm so glad you appreciate him. Back in the day of televised comedy clubs, he was a rare find. I loved how he made fun of himself, while still exhibiting an intellect above most of the audience. he would make fun of his eye oddity by saying he was the new poster child for the "Coffee Generation." Unique in a world of yadda yadda comedians.
Sadly, I just discovered this guy tonight. Wondered what happened to him. Found out he died of cancer in 1994. What a waste - he was so great! Wish I'd discovered him earlier.
I miss the late 80s and early 90s comedy. Those were some booming years...and Dennis was the man with the wiggling tongue and shifty sqinty eyes. RIP Dennis.
Very much like Red Skelton (even with the redhair) just had a clean show, His comedy was based on life experiences. Had forgotten his name until I Googled Jewish comedians from the 80's who had died. One of my favorites, too bad video was not clearer, but that you have it at all is a treasure. Thanks for posting!!!
Ten years after this was uploaded.. thirty years after he did this appearance.. and the entire intelligence testing category part is "offensive" because some kids deserved to be called those names.
In the schematic of IQ below 100, moron/idiot/imbecile scientifically refer to IQ ranges. Idiot: IQ range 0-25 Imbecile: IQ range 26-50 Moron: IQ range 51-75 Yes, society uses these terms in perjotative street talk. Duh. Yet they do have a scientific basis to classify the IQ of the lower spectrum.

This guy was the funniest 80s comic that nobody knows about or talks about anymore. Sad he died so young.
Mr. Wolfberg was my favorite. GOAT. Thanks for this.
Gone too soon. What a great comic mind and unique delivery.
Ohhhhhhhhh the delivery...... HYSTERICAL!!!
I was lucky enough to catch his show before he passed when he came through town years ago. Great show... cancer sucks
I've been lookin for some of this guy's material for YEARS. This dude rocks!!
This guy died way too young. He was one of the funniest stand up comics of his generation.
He is one of my favorite comedians. His death was truly tragic!

Dennis was the definition of a killer act, he rocked rooms, but died way to young
This reminds me of my junior high school experiences. If only Dennis could have lived longer, we might all be more sane.

I've been trying to remember this guy's name for years.
I was looking for his work too. He was fantastic!
I was just watching an old episode of Quantum Leap, and remembered him from The Tonight Show and had to come here and watch some of his material.
One of my all time favs.
Ian Edwards Yo!
I saw him in concert with George Wallace. It was amazing. Those two guys worked so well together.
I miss that guy
This guy really could've been a huge star. I think if he had lived he would still be getting regular character work.
He was one of my absolute favorites. Always funny. Gone too soon.
I miss this guy... hysterical
D.W. is one of the funniest Comedians in the industry.
One of the funniest and underated comics of all time. Saw him with Gerge Wallace in Florida. Standing ovations for both. Died waaaaaay to early
Too bad I had already graduated high school at the time I heard Dennis's school stuff, since I would use some of that stuff with subs.

Still funny in 2019
this guy was fantastic....period
Dennis and Emo Phillips are my two all time favorite comedians..their wordplay was the best.
Sadly, I just discovered this guy tonight. Wondered what happened to him. Found out he died of cancer in 1994. What a waste - he was so great! Wish I'd discovered him earlier.
You never watched Comic Strip Live on Saturday nights? He was on there all the time

Dennis, you were great. RIP indeed. I saw the host, Jimmy Brogan, live at Pasadena's Ice House. He killed too!
I miss this kind of comedy, mostly clean but still funny as hell..
You need to listen to more of his routine's, however, if you were thinking of his language, you're spot on. He rarely ever used swear words.
Brilliant!
The real life Mr. Kotter. He was gonna be GREAT.
That guy was hilarious
Hilarious! Remember him from Quantum Leap as well, straight role as the oddly named Gooshie in the control room.

OMG. Wolfie AND Wallace in the same show?
You're lucky to have had the experience.
I'd be ready to meet my maker after that.
Only the good die young.
Apparently... Dennis Wolfberg is Greta Thunberg's English teacher. "Entire.... EEEEco systems are dying"
Classic. Looking for the one where he says "Mr Wolfshitz"
rip
@showent I have it on MP3.

At least he made it though.
Wolfshit is funnier! This guy was a riot.
