A hilarious clean stand up comedian that I can relate to. He's one of my all time favorites.
... mostly clean...
That is the most 90s looking stage background I've ever seen.
I love it.
Brian's outfit/big floppy hair adds to the nostalgia lol
It's got some Salvador Dali vibes going!
pro tip: you can watch series on flixzone. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Rowan Kole Definitely, have been watching on flixzone for months myself =)
I can't name another comedian who was literally so damn funny on every album for literally 40 years straight
That blonde lady was fucking LOSING it when he was doing the donut bit hahah
I was at this show. Just happened to see a line outside of the comedy club and joined it without knowing that it was being taped for cable.
The best 'clean' comedian ever.
'On weekends and holidays, and rainy days and mondays....'
Proper Gander Especially Mondays
Proper Gander the big yellow one is the sun!
“Clean”
25 years later, still funny!
Funnier, easily funnier
30 yrs still kickin it.
Wow... this still holds up in 2016
That outfit doesn't. Very 90s.
+Jason Smith nothing gets by you
Mustard yellow is supposed to be very fashionable this fall lol
Brian Regan is timeless :)
Yaaaaas
When it comes to comedy, it's not what you say, it's the way you say it. Regan's delivery is perfection.
Oh man, I was on the floor, when he started his "the big yellow one is the sun". I could barely breathe. The guy is a riot.
"I used to not grow tomatoes, but there's more money in not growing corn!" Best line!
💯
I had to pause it there, in tears. 😂
i love his Relatable Comedy.
but his reactions make it even better.
He kills it everytime.. Such a great comedian
"No, Brian, it's I before E
except after C
and when sounding like A
as in neighbor and weigh
and on weekends and holidays and all throughout May,
but you'll always be wrong no matter WHAT you say!"
MOOSEN! I SAW A FLOCK OF MOOSEN. THERE WERE MANY. MANY MUCH OF MOOSEN!
IN THE WOODS THE WOODSEN
One time I was sitting in a booth and this guy's coat was hanging on my side. He went to put his jacket on and didn't realize I was leaning on it slightly. So I meant to say I'm sorry but right before I could, he said "oops sorry!" And then I was gonna say "you're fine!" But I still had sorry in my head so I just said "you're sorry"
3 years late, but I can feel the cringe.
Hahahaha this is perfect because Brian totally understands😅it happens to us all, dontcha hate the wrong thing coming out of your mouth?😂
@@shagadelic4210 My mother told me this story a lot.. She saw a cute guy once, and he was talking to some other guy about going to a chiropractor to get their back popped.
She wanted to flirt and so she walked up and said to him.. "Do you like getting you bop packed?"
She froze in horror, turned around, and left without another word.
@@cxx23 my condolences to your mom. she tried
The best stand-up set in the history of comedy ever.
I hardly ever laugh and he had me literally crying so many times. When he is yelling "Hey! bus driver, bus driver! SIGNAL!" Oh. My. Gosh!!! MAN! That boy is hysterical!
So true!!
Hey lawyer lawyer... SUE!!!!!
Omg!,i know I’m late to your comment but have you seen the bit on finding intelligent life on Neptune?,😆I almost had my epitaph/obituary written for that one!
This was the first show I saw of Brian in early days of comedy central. My friend and I split a gut and to this day keep mimicking phrases from this in every day life, especially when I blurt out "the yellow one in the middle is the sun" when getting moronic service from a person working behind a counter. Brian is one of my all time faves ever.
When I was a teenager I worked at Dunkin Donuts and I mimicked the donut lady bit... It made a crappy job so much more amusing! :p
"When"
Or how about “that’s the least I can do, if I could’ve done anything less” lol
We say "The big yellow one is the sun" at band camp STILL. It's only ever when we are marching and the sun is right in our eyes.
He brings me to tears with this routine. Just the funniest stand up I’ve ever seen.
The funniest man on the planet. And its all clean.
@@islandshortfilms-fortnites8395 Explain.
@@islandshortfilms-fortnites8395 why?
He is hilarious, also if you've heard all of his stuff you would know hes not always clean. Hes like jim gaffigan, a really nice guy who gets mislabeled as a clean comic. Because they dont need to cuss and yell, they're telling jokes.
The people that cuss and yell are telling jokes too, but they arent haha funny.
Instead they're making very valid points, using vulgarity to show how serious the topic is, then fitting a punchline into it.
While telling (most likely) a true story, and exposing real problems.
People like regan, wright, and hedburg dont need to have a base though. They're just naturally great joke writers.
I’m trying to do stand up as clean as possible just because regan and Seinfeld are my FAVORITE comics!
love this guy. me and my grandson would watch him when my grandson was about 4, he would be sitting in my lap, and would wait to see if i thought it was funny. then he would laugh, the harder i laughed the harder he would laugh, pretty soon i was just laughing at him, and with him.... good times. brian was our fav.
Definitely one of the greatest comedians to ever exist. I cry with laughter
To state such a thing you'd have to know every comedian from every country from all eras past, then have absoute infused knowledge on what makes true comedy. But you're probably an American and it's your stupid ethnic ego speaking.
@@Robusquet great comment. You must be a lot of fun at parties. I suggest you lighten up and travel to America. It might help you open your mind

2019: Absolutely the best comedian ever!!! Always a cutie. Walking through a spider web, I laughed so hard I was crying.
Brian Regan predicted "IT IS MA'AM" 2:14
Even Regan would be canceled today.
That's exactly what I thought of
It wasn't a prediction 😅that was an observation
But he isn't transphobic as the updated version on his 1999 album proves. This was nailing how it's an adjustment. But also I think the worst anyone can say about him is his first marriage didn't work out
The spider web bit had me dying hahahaha! It's so true!
Same. I couldn't breathe and my brother had to come in because he thought I was dying.
Been there done that I think everyone has walked into one lol
I don't know how I missed this great performance but now in 2017 I'm glad I saw it and I laughed through the whole comedic bit! He's truly a comic genius folks!
The gender bit is timely in 2023
I've seen this guy many times & no matter what mood I'm in, he always cracks me up.
Ah, he's still using the "you too" joke 20 years later.
StoryoftheYear16 it's a great bit that we all could relate to
To this day I still accidentally say “you too” when buying things.
Buying beer.
“Alright man enjoy”
“You too, shit I mean thanks.”
Buying groceries
“Thanks for shopping at ____”
“You too, I mean aw damnet I mean THAAANK YOU.”
Apotheosis same here XD it’s an affliction
@@GiorgioCastaldo1 You too!
@Myriad Montaine Professional Cat I do that as well!
I think it's because I have no understanding of grammar, but I still want people to be able to read my comments.
I can't stand a wall of text, and this is a huge improvement over that.
Edit: I'm not so big on typing in all caps myself though.
Hard to believe I've been watching this guy for around 25 years!
You mean 32 years.
I remember watching this with my dad back in '92....I miss him but this brings back some good memories...hard to believe Brain Regan is still going in 2021...a comedy great without the profanity
Oh my God, the hair!! Love the comedy! You've perfected the goofy walk too.
30 years later, this set still holds up beautifully. What a talent.
Still listening to this top notch comedian in 2023! Seeing him live is on my bucket list…so would love to enjoy this in person!
I first saw him opening for Jerry Seinfeld sometime back in the early 2000's. Not only was I pleasantly surprised at how funny he was, I was even more impressed that Jerry Seinfeld had such confidence in his own abilities to have such a standout comedian go up on stage right before his act.........many headliners are NOTORIOUS for often hiring very average, to below average talent to open for them in order to make their act stand out as much as possible.
Oddly enough, as good as Seinfeld also was that night, I've never gone to see him again, but have now seen Brian Regan a number of times, whenever his tours swing through Milwaukee.
And like others have commented, I LOVE the fact that this guy can be outrageously funny without the need to work 'blue' (Don't get me wrong, though.......I like any comedian, clean or dirty, as long as they're truly funny).
And I love how everyone focuses on the word *’Clean’* I’ll just focus on the Comedian.
The 90s will never die, especially the comedians
Man, clothing was so roomy back in the 90s
Haha! So true!!😂
Let’s bring them back.
Those pants are nothing compared to “JNCO Jeans”
You could jump out of an airplane and those thing could act as parachutes.
The era of the parachute pants and silk shirts and underwear! Oh, and mullets!!
That it was! Just ask MC Hammer.
To appreciate Brian its crucial to watch him. Awesome comedian
This is the closest i'll ever get to seeing the "Brian Regan Live" album I heard first when I was a sophomore in high school back in 2003. I have listened to that full routine 100s of times growing up and I have it saved to my dropbox. My favorite routine of all time, because it related to me so much. Even the baseball bit where he got a grape snow-cone at the end ... I saw him live at the OKC civic center many years ago. I find him only a handful of clean comics that can make you die laughing. Glad I found this video online, because I always wanted to see how animated he was with these specific jokes.
Same here!
I had no idea he did standup this long ago.
For someone pushing 60, you would have wondered what he was doing in his youth.
Good clean comedy~ First time seeing this one. Thank you!!!

You're breaking some new ground there, Copernicus. Hahahahahaha!
Yeah I get up around the crack of noon, walk outside, make sure there's no corn growing.

Im hysterical laughing at her laughing 😂
i think thats called a seizure lol
This is how I remember Brian Regan. First saw him a couple years before this on "Comic Strip Live" - Wayne Cotter
Watching this in 2017 and I love it!
I'm from the year 2054, and this special still holds up. And Goldenrod came back into fashion in the late 30s.
This was the first time I saw Brian Regan on TV back in early 90s I remember taping it on my moms vhs tape and replaying it for friends it was so hilarious. I think this was a Showtime special
he was already hillarious, but you can reallt hear how much he worked on these bits before rhe 97 special. he PERFECTED these jokes, that were already so funny. unreal. true pro.
I want a boxen of donuts now. XD
I ate 2 donuts like 5 minutes before he did the pluralization bit
Actually makes me laugh out loud every time. Genius
He is the very best. Shows you that you don't have to be filthy to be funny.
You would like Nate Bargatze, another great clean comedian.

Regan's a legend.
Saw him in '91 or '92 open for Jerry Seinfeld; at many times he was funnier than Jerry.
Jerry is not all that funny live.
mlsaulnier Jerry wasn't funny on video either.
in my opinion watching Seinfeld is like reading a joke book. He over polishes his jokes; there's no character left.
I really like Seinfeld's show, but he's not a great comedian in my opinion. Brian Regan, however, is one of the best comedians I've ever seen, especially for how clean he is.
Jerry is supposed to be funny?
He reminded me of the humps in cars and I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. Cars haven't had humps in years.
When he bends down with his chin practically on the floor and looses his mind with that voice in his head spewing up ridiculous nonsense I laughed so hard it hurt. He’s the funniest man on the planet.
He was already great back then! One of my all-time favorites.
dat mullet tho!!!
dem clothes tho!!!
AHHHHHHH :D
and for all those dislikes out there. ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS AND ALL THROUGHOUT MAY AND YOU"LL ALWAYS BE WRONG NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY
Aaahh, the Before Time, no Interwebs or Smartphones, look at how happy and FOCUSSED people were back then, miss those days!
That’s exactly what I was thinking the whole time. The chemistry in the crowd here is all but extinct now
This still makes me laugh lol
It's both original and classic (:
Somehow I've never heard of Brian Regan until today (Norm Macdonald recommended him)... My face hurts from laughing so hard...
All of his specials are great! Enjoy!
lowell mayfield His brother Dennis is also hilarious...
lowell mayfield saw him live 10 years ago
High praise from the king of comedy. Norm also put me onto Reagan.
Just started watching Loudermilk. Reagan is pretty funny in it.
The joke about guessing someone's gender wrong is about 100x more relatable with age 🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
Especially when you're correct but they "identify" as something else.
@@michaelreich4827That's not how gender works lol
@@extremelynormalpersonI’m pretty sure they’re talking about the gender they were born with, later in life didn’t feel like that gender, and started identifying as something else.
@@loganwebb1171 yeah I know. If someone identifies as a gender, then that's their gender. You can't be "right" about it if it isn't what they identify as.
love this guy!!!!
Awesome! Never seen this one. What a trip! Thanks!!
my fav set of his of all time, I remember seeing this on tv at the time when he flocks his arms talking about the flock of geeze I remember almost peeing my pants from laughing and also the one in the middle is the sun, the big yellow one is the sun LOLOL
Ha this guy brings up shit I do all the time. Can really relate. My new favorite comic right now!
Warning!
Do not drink anything while watching! This may result in your screen being drenched!
16:32 The Spelling Bee section appears. "I SAW A FLOCK OF MOOSEN"
I did the audio post production for this special. Super fun project! :-)
This was my introduction to Brian he is was and always has been on his own level of hilarious
Person: Hey Gentle Ben! Where's Bobby?
Gentle Ben: *burps*
I couldn't breathe for the entire time I was laughing, which was 15 minutes straight! I love Brain Regan.
Man, the cut of those shirts.
great! even in 2018!
It was the 90’s... don’t hate the playa!
Cabby Cabby ..get ready for that style to come back in the next year or two.
Cabby Cabby
They didn't let you onstage in the early 90s unless you had one.
Cabby Cabby are we just going to ignore the hair...lol.
Didn't know about him til 2003. On the floor. Fave since.
It's a cup. ...with dirt in it...
I call it 'cup of dirt'
I watched a loooot of Regan when I was a youngin’
I can’t find a lot of the old videos I used to watch but the ones I do find are always a treat
Very funny and creative comedian, and very animated.
Regan Rocks
That's what you call killing it. He's still funny as hell.
Love the donut & baseball part - hilarious!
I CAN'T BREATH!!!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Breathe...lol.
I feel like he should be on full house
He Really Should have!
God NO!!!! He would have to be a lousy comedian to be on a show with Bob Sagget.
+Guy Percy
He IS a lousy comic. He's a disaster.
He looks like Joey XD
Bob Sagget murders compared to this hack
It's rare that stand up from the 80s and 90s remains relevant and funny. This is a good example. Clean too!! That's difficult in any era.
Thanks for posting this 😂😂😂
Wow! I used to tell people about this comedian I saw who talked about NOT growing corn and thought it was so funny. Now I accidently came across a video of Brian Regan doing the skit. I didn't know who did the skit, just remember the joke. Saw him at a free outdoor performance being done at the WTC in the early 90s.
Soooo funny. I’m crying 😂😂😂😂
He's so young here. Omg, I was so young there. Wtf happened to us? 😂
@ Brooklyn Born - You are absolutely right. This comedian will have you laughing and IN TEARS! Stomach hurting laughter! Clean!
25 yrs ago. That's crazy. He's still doing his thing to this day!
Amazed he never got his own sitcom.
He probably had many offers. The guy's been killing for 35+ years.
5 Star! Excellent! One of the greats!
He is spot on....I can relate..
Killed even at that tender age. Great stuff.
My Favorite comedian ever!
I saw Brian back around this time in 92 or 93 at the Irvine Spectrum Improv and he was hilarious. It's crazy because the Irvine Spectrum was so tiny back then. Only a handful of restaurants, stores
