Indeed. I never really got why he's classified as a comedian. 98% of his content is just him speaking his mind on rather serious topics. The stage is his soapbox. Sure he is funny from time to time, but so is the guy on the soapbox. It kinda reminds me of the Nina Simone thing and the "Mississippi Goddam". It kinda sounds like a show tune but the lyrics are actually a really bleak cry of desperation, pain and deep, black sorrow. But the audience laughed and enjoyed themselves, at least in the beginning. I guess even those most bent on having a good time started choking when she basically sang that they'd all burn in hell.

But he does say it in a way that basically means, it doesn't matter that we fuck up because we'll be gone eventually, which is rubbish, there are loads of species that DO die because of the humans. We have involved into something that can make a difference, and it's just moral to do that, humans need to leave the arrogant idea that the planet was made for them.
Would it be immoral to completely exterminate the malaria parasite? After all, that would mean eliminating a species, and that's a "bad" thing, right?
