Saw him in ann arbor Mi long ago maybe late 80’s.Funniest guy I have ever seen. Sides hurt, gasping for air, tears running down my face. Begging him to stop. A great one gone way too soon.

Dennis Wolfberg was indeed a singularly funny fellow, in the world of academic comedy (no pun intended). He is sorely missed- he could whip Martin Lawrence, Lisa Lampinelli & Adam Sandler in one breath.
    L'chaim, Dennis.

he worked very hard for his style. years and years in nowhereland with audiences not responding at all. brave guy. i think i should be clear about dennis -- we grew up together. he was my cousin. and i was very proud of his success. he was a hilarious guy. what i wanted to say is that his delivery and material came after years of very hard work and that he had the courage to follow his dream at a relatively late time of life compare to most stand ups. he had already been teaching 11 years in ny public schools when he started.
