Mostly amusing, funny things from the past, taped in the 80s and early 90s, mostly, but some are noteworthy and disastrous. The disasters I have recorded are only presented as noteworthy, and are not funny to me, despite my CZcams name. This channel has grown over the years.
Kellogg's Poptarts Comedy at the Improv (1992)
Hosted by PopTart eater Paula Poundstone, this comedy special taped at the Improv in 1992 was made available by mailing in PopTarts box-tops to Kellogg's!
My grown kids constantly make quotes referencing these comedians, especially Poundstone. I had to preserve this brilliant tape by digitizing it for the rest of the world.

A production from 1999. The stage version of "Big" (starring Tom Hanks on film). This digitized VHS tape has a friend of mine in it, the late Maureen Moore, so I offer it here to keep her talents alive. She is the boy's mother in the beginning scenes. Maureen loved stage and music, and taught voice, piano and theater arts for all of her adult life. She passed away in March of 2014 two days befo...

[My apologies for the misspelling burned into the video... Unable to change, now.] Digitized VHS Tape - I kept this very funny bit to show my kids where I got the idea for this hilarious prank I've done in their presence. Glenn (Twitter @HaHaScribe) was a comedy genius. Glenn's Twitter Page: hahascribe

Leo LaPorte of Twit.TV was discussing the new MacBook Pro laptops, and how the batteries are so spread out inside the case, glued so strongly to the inside of the case, and the cases are so difficult to open that they are basically large iPhones, and recyclers don't want to touch them - so, as a result, they will all likely end up in landfills across America when their now-shorter useful life i...

4/4 - It's fun to see these "stars" from over 30 years ago. Bob Vila, Rich Trethewey, Norm Abram - all heroes of mine. (VHS Tape transfer) This Old House was the reason I bought a VHS player when I could afford on in 1984 - just to tape the shows. As it turned out, I never actually watched the tapes. I know: what a waste.

Always loved Louie. He was such a positive breath of fresh air. I miss the days of clean comedians. It takes real talent to make people laugh without shocking them.

1988, Charles Fleischer was on the movie promo circuit promoting Roger Rabbit. At the time, mixing animation and film was a much more difficult process, so this was a big deal. Plus, the cartoon had 'adult themes.'

I still sing “I Don’t Care” in the shower
I’m on a Dennis binge. Can’t stop laughing. One of the greats.
My deserted island standup video collection would be everything by Dennis Wolfberg and Gilbert Gottfried. I can’t stop laughing at this routine.
Relatable 😂
LEGEND 100%
Brilliant
Fabulous comedian!
Very hilarious
Thanks for taping this, really fun to look back
What an act! He killed it! The Dan Ackroyd thing made me fall over!
This was one of those films I would repeatedly on VHS as a kid. 🫶
A master class of stand-up comedy. The guy was a genius, gone much too soon.
Real comedian OMG
christ, what forced mediocrity.
After the act M. Carl relaxed with a double espresso.
The Bob Dylan one really got me.
Pure Genius
A definite early Robin Williams style to his set/delivery.
Mr. Wolfberg was my favorite. GOAT. Thanks for this.
My favorite comic. He was the GOAT. I'm so sorry that he passed.
There is no one funnier that lived on thr planet😂😂😂
Anyone else here from The Bonfire? 😂 Crackle crackle
Amazing that this is considered a starter home. If this is within easy commutable distance to Cambridge, MA it would be highly desirable $1MM+ today.

just had a reflective moment: I'm starting to feel the weight of time passing, and it's bittersweet. Thinking of you, Dad, and cherishing every memory.
Here because Jeff Allen said Mr Wolfberg was one of his favorite comedians.

Unbelievable talent how would you begin to develop an act like that ?
Dang, he was funny. There were a few performers I tried not to miss when they were on Carson or Letterman and he was one of them. Jake Johannsen, Brian Regan, Norm, and Dennis Wolfberg to name a few more. Man, that was all too long ago. Thanks for the laughs and RIP.
Still laughing for over 35 years. One in a million.
These old re-runs remind me of being a kid, watching with my folks in the 80s.
All is vanity
You probably have your one eye jokes already written!!!!! 😂😂😂 WE'RE BIG PANTS PEOPLE!!!!
Straordinario!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Gone too soon. What a great comic mind and unique delivery.
He does a good trump and he doesn't even know it
Was just listening to a Louis CK interview where he mentioned Kevin Meaney met an 18 year old Louis working at a video store. Told Kevin he was trying standup but bombed the 1st two open mic nights. Kevin said to effect of, "Come do one of my shows. Who cares if you bomb, that makes the show even better." Louis bombed but it gave him the courage to keep trying something he loved. You could tell Meaney was that type of guy, purely positive, supportive, incredible energy, loves to perform, and hilarious. Just looked him up after so many years and so sad to see he passed away at only 60 😢 RIP and thanks for the laughs. You helped so many people
I watched his HBO special in 86 at 8, 9 years old. I will be celebrating my 46th bday on good ol May the 4th. And that will be 38 years that theres at worst a 50/50 chance that when i say "i don't care," right after I'll just start busting out: "🎶 🎼 🎵 i dont caaaare.... i dont carrrrrrre ...zing zing zing... zoom zoom zoom.... arf arf arfffff... arf arf arrrrrffff.... iiiiiii dooooooon't CAAAAARRRRE 🎶 🎼 🎵...!!!" And then i either get "wtf was THAT???," and ill give em an immediate "HEDOESNOTCARE!!" Either way, im laughing, and they're looking at me like..... "YOU'RE LIKE A CRAZY PERSON! Runnin around, singing 'I DONT CARE' songs...." 🍻 to another 38 years of doing that exact thing til the day i take MORE than an eye out and kick the bucket
So funny and an act thats never been copied a massive Thank You
Amazing :)
I saw in in NYC in the mid-eighties and I swear we could not finish our two drink minimum because every time we tried to drink he'd with these crazy punchlines that came out of nowhere we'd spit beer all over table. I'll never forget that night. Thanks, Dennis!
The sad part about this is that the event is true, and that's when they found the cancer that took his life!
Greg Fitzimmons brought me here. HILARIOUS!
saw this so many times in comedy clubs, the audience would SCREAM just scream. RIP
I featured for Kevin before he passed. It was the only show my mom made it to see me do standup due to her poor health. After the show, Kevin talked to her and made me sound like the greatest comic walking the planet. One of the kindest people I ever met in the business. I miss him.

He didn't get his flowers. This is soooo funny 😂😂 I'm laughing till tears 😂😂😂 Rip Funny Hilarious Kevin Meany 😂❤❤❤❤
We miss you Louie!!
