    Thanks for the upload. Normal health in TTT1 is 150, not 130, and also watch out for that Jin combo that ends in df+44. He doesn't have it set to tech roll, which will make it slightly harder to land the kicks, but the real problem is the range. In a lot of high level matches, the opponent will be too far away and Jin just gets the df+4. What's good but slightly harder is laser cannon, three ring circus: bf,2 (neutral), 1,2 then f+f+1+4 for way better oki and great damage. Taking MM's comments about Jin at face value, don't forget that the top two American players, at the end of the game's prime, did not use Jin. Unconckable used Devil/Armor King and Slips used Julia/Eddy.

      @MegaMechaBasilix442 Před 5 lety +3

      Thank you so much for posting this! For others curious, the 1+4 ender usually does 5-6 less damage than the df4,4 ender. But there is higher yet to climb! On bigger characters you can do an EWGF ender for only 1 less damage than the df4,4 ender with a similar Oki situation to 1+4. The characters this works on are:
      Both Ogres
      Kuma
      All Jacks
      Both Kings
      Eddy
      Ganryu
      Might work on Bruce and Mokujin, but my results are inconclusive.

    Some clarifications:
    - Jin was actually number 1 and Kaz was number 2 in TTT. Devil was probably number 3 or 4 depending on who you asked about Heihachi. But Devil couldn't put on the same kind of gameplay that Kaz could, since Kaz had d/b+4 and CH d/f+2 (both safe [unless d/f+2 wasn't done in clean hit range] in TTT BTW)
    - Jin combo from HS was HS, f,f+1+4, d/f+1,2~f,f, HS - the HS was guaranteed and if the opponent attempted to quick stand for whatever reason, you could do a WS+4 instead after the d/f+1,2

      What made Julia good?
      All I know is her ff1 was like -2 on block and knocked down lmao.
      So it was basically a Jin ff2 but faster and only -2 on block as opposed to -11 with pushback.
      And her d,df12 was like -7 or something on block so safe.

    • @DayFul
      @DayFul Před 5 lety +1

      1,2,1 was safe and lead to over 60% health combos on CH
      10 frame magic 4 with a very low recovery time easy 50% combos, it was a defensive wall with in a game with no crush system
      d/f+2,1 -6 mid launcher 50% again
      Julia matches Jins combo damage and it's very easy to do her oki is strong also
      Mad axes where harder to break than it is in T7 throws overall where tougher to break which favoured her a lot
      Higher health than the other female characters besides Anna, Julia is a small character where Anna was normal so some jughles don't connect properly so she had the most effective health
      Julia was also the only female without a backflip meaning she was the only one who could properly do the safe u,u/b tag cancel again
      Julia doesn't have to take many risks for big damage, The Korean mishima craze stole some of her shine but she was a regular tournament winner in Europe and the US across tag 1's life cycle

      @DayFul Před 5 lety +1

      @@Theterminato2013 Tag 1 for sure she was a threat to everyone and didn't have any bad matchups. Her only real weakness was mediocre lows but that was made up for with her throws (d/f+2,1 really detered people from ducking).

    Well I bet this is gonna be (most likely) the Tekken 9 Jin Kazama... Off course infusing also his "Japanese Karate" arsenal. (You know like what they did w/ Kazuya's Up+Back 1+2 to transform) Just saying though.. No hard feelings.

  • @lovephantom561

      Koenma -sama Jin defeated true ogre then Heihachi and his Tekken force gunned Jin down. Jin reawakens as Devil Jin and slamming him to the floor. Jin then moves to Australia to unlearn the Mishima style and now uses traditional karate. Basically he hates his blood line cuz of getting shot in the head.

      for tag? no. high level was all about Mishimas, Ogres, Changs, Bruce, and Lei, but it isn't like someone using paul and king couldn't put in work and win matches. also, jin scared no one back then. you knew what he could do and you just dealt with it. ogres scared people. tag bruce was more likely to get banned than jin.
      the problem with looking back at this is seeing it from the esports view of now versus young internet days of then.

    Hey, great video. IMO, Jin is a great all around hero, he has it all, even a reversal-attack. but also slow and boring lol. he is not extreme in anything.
    tried to love him but could not. i could play 20 games with Hehachi, having fun everyone. but after 2 games with Jin, i don't have fun.
    There are a few all around heroes. like Jin, also Nina. She has it all. and she is fun' and have some extreme things you can go for, from time to time.
    and in general' imo. Jin is not S Tier but A/B. His sister Jun? now there is an S Tier hero lol. She is so fast and deadly, Jin has no chance.

      you also left out ch laser scraper. i was hoping you'd notice at the end (you couldn't have played this game). if you don't know how to break the stun of the first hit, all three hits land. but this is old jin where he could do a launch upper at the end of ls. so scrubs got murdered by ch ls, ls, and i think dash df44. you could also ch hunt with said first hit and then tag electric.

    Lol, that's funny. Never knew Jin was a top pick in Tag.
    Now I see why. I mean, I'd always have either Jin/Jun combo or Jin/Heiachi combo. I never liked Kazuya because he just seemed like a bad Heiachi clone. Jin on the other hand was like a mix of both Heiachi and Jun. And I really loved me some Jun as a kid. Still do. Fuck Asuka. She just isn't the same.
