      @@rossmanmagnus It is in PS4 and is garbage. The one thing that makes it a garbage port are the controls. They are unresponsive. People love the game because of the roster, but never talks about the gameplay because everyone knows how broken that game is.

And I feel like Rage Arts were simply added in T7 to make the game look better from a spectators point of view. It does not take alot of skill to press one button and instantly reverse the tides of a round. And I also thought the tag assault combos in TTT2 looked badass. I love this game, I don't care! Especially the PS3 version - Fighting to your own music?! 😁
    It's also more feature packed than Tekken 7. From customisation to game modes. Attention to detail was very impressive too: arguably better/ more interesting stages, extensive special tag throws, tag combos and win and lose poses.
    Let us try to remember the good too :)

And if you turn off motion blur (which alot of people keep on), the game runs in 720p on both console versions. Also, the game was released in 2011 in arcades, and 2012 on consoles. How is tekken 7 not a 3D game? You have a few 2D characters but that’s about it, the legacy DLC can be seen as shitty especially when there’s Akuma and 2 bears but making characters costs money considering it’s already a large roster, a business isn’t gonna just lose money for no reason, it’s funny ppl constantly bring it up when only 2 of legacy actually get a lot of playing time and having guest characters attracts players that may otherwise not be interested in the tekken.

    Still boggles my mind that people complain about any game having too many characters. Like, I get it, that’s a lot of labbing, but competitively speaking you’d realistically face the top 10 characters far more often than not. I would never ask for LESS content. The other issues mentioned are certainly valid though.

    I love Tag 2 because it was Way more difficult than solo Tekken games you had so much to think about when to tag assault, tag crash, or when to switch out, what team your going up against. Online practice don’t forget we at least had that. Tag 2 was very interesting with that big cast because you would a variety of different combos.
    I dislike the rage like 4 kicks from hworang your health is just gone. And I feel wall damage was too much it should of been once they hit the wall you either bound or you do the character standard wall combo damage. Customization was okay better than 7. Tekken tunes was very Cool although I like some of tags songs.

    I feel like the hardcore tekken players hate tag 2. Imo i like the game. One reason is because it has a lot of characters which adds a lot of replay value. It also cool to see character teamups that are unique like lee and ganryu, jun and lili, Jin and Julia and so on. I cant denied that its one of the hardest tekken games to get into. And for balancing, when you have over 50 characters in your game, it becomes impossible to balance anything tbh.

    Tekken Tag 2 is disliked ? I thought everyone liked it. Whenever someone says “TTT2 is bad” people just straight up roast that person.
    I actually really like TTT2, I’m not exactly a fan of the Tag feature, but after You learn it it’s really fun.
    I also like how it did the whole “Everyone is Here” thing before Smash Bros. did. Literally everyone is here except Gon I believe, I know people hated the large roster but I personally loved it. That way, if you get bored with one character, you have like 40+ other characters to learn. Plus, I’m always Pro Extremely Large roster so I kinda disagree with you on that front, (understand where you’re coming from but disagree) . I’d rather have a 40+ character roster than have a 20 character roster & have the other 30 be DLC.
    Aside from all that stuff the game is just fun to play in my opinion.

Capo (3), Ling (2), Law(2), Lili(2), Roger(2) , Bears(2), Julia(2), Jack(2), Lee(2)... Now that is 10 duplicate characters. Tekken 7 has about 50 characters and most of them are unique. Tag 2 had the best customization of the franchise without a doubt. The balance was a trade off for the roster in a way. That's no excuse for a fighting game, but if it was properly supported these issues could have been mitigated. One point I can make, however, is that in tag 2 it felt like every character had the potential to dominate a match.

      Tag 2 had only ONE original costume per character by default. Bamco repeated this crap with Soul Calibur 6. The alternate costume was custom trash. The customization was NOWHERE near as robust as Tekken 6 & T6 had at least 2 genuine costumes per character.

    • @Shyuthrosnaevin
      @Shyuthrosnaevin Před 5 lety +2

      yeah, it's annoying... tag 2 customization is a regression from 6, but the actual ITEMS to customize WITH in 6 were character specific (meaning it might not appeal to everyone's tastes) and sometimes very sparse (not to say the items in tag 2 were not sparse as well, but at least you (for the most part) consistently had an idea of what you could find for a character and could rely on it).
