    This reminds me of back when ETCG was just starting out-
    and moved his channel out of that tiny, dark garage.
    Your hard work is paying off, the new surroundings,
    the nice view out front, even the sky is brighter!
    I so wish you & your Family all the prosperity possible. 😁

    Thanks so much for the vid. Did this last weekend on our blue 14 nissan versa note. About 3 quarts came out and our overflow tank was completely empty as well. Car has 93k miles and it was never done once. Filled up radiator and overflow tank with one Walmart brand blue coolant jug, for 12 bucks only and about 30-45 min of our time, we plan on doing this every oil change so we can ensure that we flush out all the coolant eventually. Thanks again !!!!

    I'm not sure ramps are safer. Years ago I had a vehicle on ramps, and I did a trans fluid change. I chocked the wheels, and did the procedure. While lying underneath, I accidentally bumped the shift lever as I was removing the pan. I saw the entire vehicle shift as it was bumped into neutral. Then I realized it could have easily lurched right off the ramps. I also had trouble with my ramps sliding forward on a smooth garage floor as I drove up. Overall after those experiences I threw the ramps away, jackstands are better.

    • @themechanic6117
      @themechanic6117  Před rokem +2

      I've had both of those problems before. The ramps sliding and the car moving while under it. Definitely a scary experience. Accidents happen, ramps aren't without their faults but I'd say for the most part ramps are safer. If I put myself in the shoes of a person who's never worked on a car and is watching my video ,I'm sure I'd find the ramps much easier to deal with. Thanks for sharing your experience.

    • @omarbernal2408

    • @isaacvargas1423
      @isaacvargas1423 Před 10 měsíci

      Need to keep practicing. Make sure the ramps are wide enough, and tires straightened out. The metal ones suck. If you don’t have the tires completely on the ramps, that’s also a reason why that might have happened.
