    You’re to be congratulated on your perseverance! And the fact that you did it with limited tools
    Well done !

    Best maloof chair video is from this non-woodworking channel! I am glad I found this on CZcams.

      thank you so much. When I spend time watching woodworking videos, I always see that people have thousands of dollars in tools (no judgement of course, it is also from them that I learn ) and so..I wanted to try with what I have. If we want, we can! 😉

    This is great work. Carving softwood is more difficult. Because it is soft and easily torn off. And JACO is so cute!!

    Simply amazing and so inspirational! This is not just a video about making a Maloof style rocker. This is a video about struggle and making do with what you have. It's about perseverance and determination and ingenuity. This is a video about life. From start to finish I was captivated. From the video to the music to the content, I was moved. So, thank you and congratulations. You are an artist my friend, and I am a fan!

      You literally made my day yesterday. Thank you so much for your amazing comment.
      I'm moved. It's been a long work, with a lot of mistakes.
      I spend hours and hours watching videos about wood working but, most of the time, I see that people have really expensive tools and really nice wood. I wanted to show to myself and to all the people like me who often says "I will never achieve that with my hands or my tools" that...It's possible if we want it and if we love it. I've never studied wood, I'm not an artist... i'm just a shy passionate about wood, and music who decided to struggle with a cheap broken camera. Thank you again! A big hug

      @@mister0frank I stumbled upon your video again and watched it for the second time. I was a little disappointed to find there are no other woodworking videos on your channel, but hey, I get it. Life happens. Wishing the best for you and your family.

      @coreyhiggins621 Hi Corey, a few months after I posted the video, a lot of things have happened in my life, I currently continue to work as a carpenter but in my free time I'm renovating what is becoming my new home. This takes up most of my time for now. Here I also have a large shed (compared to my old 6 square meters!) that I would like to transform into a workshop in the future but for now I'm focusing on the interior work of the house. Renovation, for now, sucks all my blood. I can't wait to be able to dedicate some time to create something new, maybe some furniture for the house. I wish you all the best!

    제작 과정이 바이림 님의 방식과 너무 흡사 해서 예상 했는데 맞았군요. 대단 하세요. 큰 장비 없이 말루프 흔들의자를 만들다니 ^^ . 한가지 아쉬운건 각 부분 별로 선들이 조금 투박하게 제작 되었네요. 그래도 정말 대단 하십니다.

    Great work! Very inspiring. What are the tools used to make the spindles

    • @mister0frank
      @mister0frank  Před měsícem

      @andyr1497 Thank you Andy! The hand tools for spindles are "Dowel and Tenon Cutters" made by Veritas, a Canadian Enterprise. Here's a link 😉: www.veritastools.ca/en-ca/shop/tools/hand-tools/dowel-and-tenon-cutters/52401-veritas-dowel-and-tenon-cutters

      Btw : how long did it take you to complete the chair? I’m just stating and have the beginning of the seat done?

    • @mister0frank
      @mister0frank  Před měsícem

      @andyr1497 As I wrote in the title, about 120 days, more or less, but I can not be really precise, someday I worked for 2 hours, someday 8 hours, someday 4 etc... Usually I worked during weekends, I'm a carpenter for five days a week. Consider also that I don't have specials tools like band saw or wood lathe, or big wood planer so..it takes more time.

    Do it with walnut..or fine other wood ..pine wood is a disaster with such skill. 😢

      @mister0frank  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Too late Richard, it's done 😅 maybe next time if I have money. Walnut is expensive for me, I can't afford it. I did it with what I had and I think is this, the most beautiful thing

    Honestly, I'm disappointed...
    You said that there would be swearing early on in the video. Yet, I heard none.
    The only thing that kept my attention through the video, was the making of a masterpiece.
    What a beautiful chair !
    I'd much rather have a beautiful chair made of shit wood, than have a shit chair made of beautiful wood...
    Best to you !
