Sam Maloof would have been 100 years old in 2016. In 1980 I was 21....When I was 12 we played hide & seek in his orange groves. We picked his olives cuz he didn't cure them....we lived just down the street. My late father bought quite a collection from Sam. I just finished burnishing and oiling our 1980 rocker, 1992 ottoman and 1982 lamp table. As I work on these pieces I can feel what Sam felt....detail in every square inch....a master wood-worker.....incredible....

I just finished my Sam Maloof inspired rocker and can say it was worth the learning curve to be able to produce a piece of art that will be a 24-year anniversary present for my wife.
