U guys have been my inspiration since 2019❤ unfortunately I couldn’t get seats but now i m done with plab and have got a job too❤
Amazing! That's just wonderful to hear ☺️ Congrats and good luck for the future!
You are amazing! .. thank you very much for the support
You're welcome 😁
I appreciate the video, you guys are amazing. Thank you for the encouragement. Hope I get to meet you some day.
You're welcome! Good luck 🤞
Incredible , thanks guys!
You're welcome!
Thank you so much for this video. These things resonated with me.
1. Ask for help - I have been super reluctant
2. Being not familiar with the equipment was something I was reluctant to even speak about!
3. Shy to take my breaks
4. Went early, stayed late - thankfully I learned later to do exception reports and got those hours back.
5. Struggled with handovers
6. I have been chronically stressed
And sorry to say I will quit the NHS after my first year contract, due to the mental stress, and many other factors - low pay, poor worklife balance, unclear future, tough life for a small family and no support from government, but I will say I wish had seen your video earlier. I found out this video after searching for "medical indemnity" and I found this.
Bless you all.
Thank you..
You're welcome!
Thank you for the informative video, as an IMG ive seen alot of videos of drs leaving the NHS due to low pay and long hours and staff shortage leading to burn out. Can you please do a video on how you maintain your work life balance and how to survive the short staffing and problems in the system ?
👍🏻
Hi Doctor, thank you always for putting out helpful content! I'm curious if there is a need to buy personal health / life insurance, or is this covered by the national insurance? For instance if we fall sick or get into an accident and require hospital stay, how are the fees paid?
National insurance means the NHS which is health coverage. This is separate from life insurance.
Thank you for the tips Dr. Ibreez, I'm concerned if there have been any IMGs from Tanzania working in the NHS, I wish to apply but I was wondering if I have any chances to apply at all
Yes there have been! You definitely have a chance ☺️☺️
@@RoadToUK Thank you for your response, I'm grateful

Yes you can.
Can 3rd and 4th year of US med school count as your foundational years in the UK - so you can go straight to ST1 or CT1? Love your videos!

Do IMGs who studied in schengen countries have to do PLAB now or is it from 2024? Our 6th year is equivalent to FY1.

hello doctor !!! i am a medical student in philippines...but i am an Indian..after completing my med school in philippines i am planning to do my internship in india which is my home country..so will that internship be accepted by the gmc or should the internship be done in the country where i study medicine?????
It'll be accepted provided you meet the duration requirements in gmc
Will an img be eligible for plab or gmc registration with online education in medschool?
It would be up to GMC.
Actually we are undergoing online education due to war situation (in Ukraine). So just wanted to confirm about this.
Mam Do other eu country graduates need to take UKMLA exam after mbbs please clear my doubt 🤔
Currently GMC hasn't stated anything about this.
Hello Doctor, there is one important question. Can the UK trained consultant Doctor work in the USA?
With the right registration, yes.
Thanks a lot!! What's that super-creepy sound in the background that kept getting on my nerves through out the video!???
Cicadas!
Greatful thanks for all these good tips. By the way, if possible, would you please replace the voice like buzzing snake coming behind during whole video. It really irritates and distracts too much.
We did it outside for a change to take in nature so what you're hearing are locusts 😊
@@RoadToUK ☺
a must watch video in general. but i have something to say about one of the tips that is indemnity coverage and trade unions.. this video was supposed to be about people new to NHS but you did not explain what these things are. you automatically assumed we know about it and why they are important.
Unclear what you mean by this as they were explained? Please watch from 6:11 again. Also the description box has more links explaining further.
Nothing practical in this video
Sorry you feel that way! What would you suggest?
hello doctor !!! i am a medical student in philippines...but i am an Indian..after completing my med school in philippines i am planning to do my internship in india which is my home country..so will that internship be accepted by the gmc or should the internship be done in the country where i study medicine?????
As long as it fulfills GMC acceptable criteria, it is fine
