    Thank you so much for this video. These things resonated with me.
    1. Ask for help - I have been super reluctant
    2. Being not familiar with the equipment was something I was reluctant to even speak about!
    3. Shy to take my breaks
    4. Went early, stayed late - thankfully I learned later to do exception reports and got those hours back.
    5. Struggled with handovers
    6. I have been chronically stressed
    And sorry to say I will quit the NHS after my first year contract, due to the mental stress, and many other factors - low pay, poor worklife balance, unclear future, tough life for a small family and no support from government, but I will say I wish had seen your video earlier. I found out this video after searching for "medical indemnity" and I found this.
    Bless you all.

    Thank you for the informative video, as an IMG ive seen alot of videos of drs leaving the NHS due to low pay and long hours and staff shortage leading to burn out. Can you please do a video on how you maintain your work life balance and how to survive the short staffing and problems in the system ?

    Hi Doctor, thank you always for putting out helpful content! I'm curious if there is a need to buy personal health / life insurance, or is this covered by the national insurance? For instance if we fall sick or get into an accident and require hospital stay, how are the fees paid?

    • @RoadToUK
      @RoadToUK  Před 2 lety +1

      National insurance means the NHS which is health coverage. This is separate from life insurance.
