    i would assume this is a wifi version, is there any point of flashing these devices with tamsota if they were zigbee, since you can use ha and z2mqtt? one more question how this device will work in case of a complete network failure, like shelly even if your wifi is down when you flip the switch the light will turn on , and how reliable are they ? I'm about to install a bunch of them and confused between shelly and sonoff

    • @digiblurDIY
      @digiblurDIY  Před 7 měsíci +1

      You don't flash things that are zigbee usually, there are sometimes OTA updates for them but they are local by nature.
      Really kind of a toss up between the two, Shelly does have the pin headers usually for open source firmware

    Hello, i watch and enjoy your channel. First comment :). I followed this instruction and have 3x Sonoff Dual R3 running at my house and a number of other sonoff devices running tasmota. I found only recently the Sonoff Dual R3 has become very laggy, (All other sonoff devices are going well). I have tried factory resetting, updating to the latest firmware, downgrading to an older firmware but nothing seems to fix it. The symptoms are when a light switch is turned on, 3-5 seconds later the light turns on, Very unresponsive webpage. (Not responding after a few refresh then it might come back). If you have any tips of suggestion it would be much appreciated, It almost feels like the hardware is damaged somehow? thanks Grayson
