Play Leafeon (or any other speedsters): Slowbro
Anything else: Leafeon, Gyarados, Comfey

I remember going up against Gyarados and Comfey, hadn’t had that much frustration since Zacian Comfey and Mewtwo Y Blissey
Whoever says Comfey is not a badly designed Pokémon in Unite has been smoking something very strong. Comfey has always been terribly designed. Look at the Zacian meta, look at when it was constantly used with Urshifu Water and Mewtwo X, look at pretty much any speedster + comfey duo. Comfey needs a complete rework to how it functions

Ah yes good counter play u have the options tho either don't play the game or hope the zoro player has a massive skill issue.
Hoping it messes up its combo is NOT a counter play 💀💀😭 not to mention literally everything in its kit is a low cooldown dash going where it isn’t on the map doesn’t do anything since it’ll catch up to you anyway
tfym counterplay, feint attack zoro is the most bs thing ever. you get caught in his combo that tods squishes in 2 seconds and gets further shortened to 1 second if he animation cancels, you can't do anything except watch your health drain away. you hide beind your front line? zoroark just ignores your frontline entirely, dashes through them and you die anyways. cc? zoroark just waits it out and fullheals/illusions it. waiting for zoro to mess up his combo? feint attack takes absolutely no skill and is just spamming 2 moves and even if he messes up his combo feint attack cd is like 4 seconds so he just does it again.
@@apersoniguesslolAnd look at the final slash - small aoe + sure hit + good range + has a free dash built in to escape(unlike zeraora wild charge) + 275% attk scaling with 15% missing hp dmg. How are attackers with no cc supposed to play?
I never have difficulty against zoroark and have noticed how frequently it’s banned. Always surprises me. I have a much harder time playing against leafeon and others
For me it’s generally leafeon and meowscarda so seeing zoroark banned is quite a surprise to me as well.
It’s cause people don’t think before they play.
They say Zoro is so broken but don’t even make an attempt to side step his combos, and most Zoros will just auto aim too. Skill issues seriously.
Oh but let’s say the Zoro is a monster at it… then have you tried playing defenders? The amount of times I go in cocky as a fully stacked zoro only to do like 1/4 of a blastoise or snorlax’s HP has killed me more times than I can count.
Higher skill requirement to play zoroark. Leafeon is easier
It’s funny how his next video is about Unite’s CC problem but that’s the only way you can keep a Zoroark in check 😭
CCs don't just keep Zoroark in check, it keeps everything in check lol

Zoro is still one of the most frustrating thing being up against it just rushes u down dashing all the time while stun locking u and having a finisher that is unstoppable dose big dmg and gets him away to safety. I personally think they should remove the stun from shadow claw because a mon designed like that doesn't deserves to have a stun.

And make the escape dash shorter or increase the cd of secondary dashes. Because Holy shit he can just spam dashes forever.
His dashes go through screens and if you mistime a stun he gets a free combo that is a guaranteed ko on any non defender pokemon, and even defender if it is under level

Ban comfey instead if you are scared of zoro/comfey duos
If I am in a draft match, Comfey would always get banned.
Zoro is still annoying without a comfey to so I would probably still ban it

Besides they could always play something just as worse with Comfey, like Leafeon, Meowscarada, Gyarados, etc
@novazero9461 they can just go Mimikyu, Gyrados, Leafeon Meowscarada, Absol/Dodrio/other speedsters, etc and 1v9 still though with a Comfey. Comfey let's u get away with a lot more bad plays as well imo

Yea comfey is definitely worse. You put it on anything that deals damage and all of the sudden it's a raid boss
I can't even play Zoroark when I want to play it in ranked mode, it's painful for me as a Zoro main

Tbh all of the speedstars actual counter is minikyu
And i am not even a mimikyu green badge but able to stop every speed star to carry from opponent :)
Mewosaracda is pretty solid against Mimikyu

That’s because, in general, All-Arounders win vs the Speedster matchup.
If you read (...)zmog on the enemy team you should either ban comfey or Zoroark or both. Basically a freewin from this point on

For some reason every zoro comfey combo I've played against, it's always a struggle the first 8 minutes but they always still lose in the end. And they deserved it lol

@@yeciidquintero6784 They are. You’re not wrong but you can toss a Leafeon’s controller down a flight a stairs and somehow it knocks out three Pokemon and secures a Regi. Zoroark, while busted in its own right, needs a little more finesse to achieve higher success. I’d argue trying my luck against an unknown Zoroark over someone face-rolling as Leafeon just ‘cause it’s reward is given to you just for holding the controller.
Zoro pretty much has 0 CD on its moves. Feint Attack has a mere 6s CD, which drops to 4.8s thanks to the 20% natural CDR it gets at Lv. freaking 9! No emblems, no jungle buffs, natural 20% CDR. Also, both Cut and Shadow Claw have only 4.5s, and that's before the 20% CDR is applied. With the CDR, it goes down to 3.6s, but whenever you hit the dashes from Feint Attack on anything (wild mon and enemies), the CD for Cut and Shadow Claw is completely reset. Oh, and I almost forgot. Feint Attack's CD, once Zoroark hits Lv. 11 and gets Feint Attack+, falls from it's natural 6s CD to 5s CD, so with the natural 20% CDR, the move has 4s CD. Zoroark needs CD nerfs at the very least.

Comfy is a really good babysitter
I think only defenders and supports should have hard stuns (horn leech, hydro pump, etc.) Everything else should be allowed to have slows, but there's no reason why speedsters, attackers and all-rounders should be stunlocking you until you have a 44 second timer.
Night Slash and Feint Attack should trade cooldowns

@@DoinkDeetuscooldown nerfing a speedster makes them unfun to play, so they won’t nerf it. Reducing overall damage is the way to go, and then nerfing comfey. Zoro is so easily countered by most cc, and will struggle late game as a result, a cooldown nerf would destroy the Pokemon, honestly.

Agree a lot of speedsters and some arounders like Gyrados/Falinks/etc with comfey can get really out of control
I’d argue banning Comfey in duo/trio queue games as the common denominator in some of these games is a Comfey+1.

Sorry for dumb question, but I never understood why Zoroark is so good with Comfey. You’d think as a speedster, Zoro dies too fast to take advantage of Comfey healing?
That’s because, outside of Comfey healing, Zoroark also heals itself and has its own i-frames. Apart from that it has such high mobility that it can retreat, wait to be healed by Comfey, and jump back on you or just barely escape. Just look at the first gank/interaction Cris had with Zoroark.

I ban him cause a lot of people don’t know what to do if zoroark ganks their lane. It just gets fed and snowballs from there
It's not OP, people just have no skills handling it. It's a 50/50 ban, either you get a super useful zoroak or you get a super crap one, I get more crap one most of the time(90%, well they do give me some free wins)

Before nerfing stuff like zoroark or dodrio just rework comfey as a whole.
Instead of attaching to one ally it should make garlands and give them to allies granting them shields and healing.

@@JEZUEZ11you can reset your auto attack cooldown when you press illusion during your night slash which makes it way way faster than usual
I think that the invincibility should stay and feint attack should get cooldown nerfs

Alot of players are zoro one tricks in japan. Thats all there is to it. They're just getting target banned. Zoro is a waste a ban anywhere else cause na and eu just play cringe eeveelutions.

As long as people keep saying 'but it requires skill tho' it will never get nerfed. YES I understand that it is harder to use compared to a lot of other moves but the reward you get upon mastering it is way too high.
