are u surprised that Potion on average has a 3% higher win rate than other battle items on aegislash?

No
No not really aegislash is basically an attack that has to go melee he feels a lot squishyer than most other allrounder and can't even defend itself when on low hp since u die immediately when switching to sword stance.
No b/c he's an all or nothing flighter. Once he's in a fight he has to slug it out until someone loses so mobility isn't as necessary. Plus potion helps with the bad HP regen of his shield form
Aegislash is one of the rare mons where any items work, and potion gives extra sustain so I guess it's no surprise. If it were mons with other item than the item necessity like full heal Zoroark, or eject button Blaziken etc. , it would be a surprise.
Never thought I'll see 'Potion' and 'Cris' together, but here we go 🤷♂

@@lsnorlax9653Potion is actually a better item on especially electro drift build, the main reason is that (which I realized after using it for a while) the 3rd drift is a little slow, and enemies can damage you while you get your all 3 drifts, so potion helps you sustain it (which works for Miraidon because it has hindrance resistance on the combo, but the combo itself is a little slow).

Hey CrisHeroes, loved the video ! I never thought about using Potion before, but it makes so much sense since Aegislash is all about staying aggressive. I also really enjoyed the part where you were confused about why your teammates were jumping in the bot lane instead of going to the main base. Those moments are always so frustrating! Overall, this was a great video and I learned a lot. Keep up the good work!

I just finished a game with crit aegi... And those 2500 - 3000 crit ... 😮...
I ended up with 23 kills and 137k damage...
Only question I have is how does a healing spray meant to heal wounds heal a FRIKING metal sword
Aegislash Unite move needs a rework.
Make it have two versions, one for sword form and one for shield form!

yes
Lowkey potion is so good on defenders and all rounders as a on demand heal that can save you from dying like full heal
Potion and Full Heal are just items that feel good on anything because they can allow you to win fights you otherwise cannot without them
Also iron head was buffed recently which helps alot

Because y’all like to meme and not realize how good of a move set it can be if you know how to play. Plus dragon quick matches have made more people play chomp lately.

Why take Iron Head over Wide Guard CC?
Idk man, i think wide guard remains as a much better defensive alternative for aegislash; its boosted attack count can be filled easier by stunning enemies twice. Any input from aegi main on iron head?
Just keep using it the moment it's available and use it to dodge unite moves
oh this is the build of aegis that was kept beeing controversial in the mathcord discussions, guys in the mathcord call it waste of time while based on actual data its the top winning build for aegis (who has a low pickrate btw)
Does it? I’m currently looking at it and Wide/Sword has 59% pick and 49.4% win. Iron/Claw has 7% pick and 46.5% win. Either way I might experiment more with Iron/Claw.

Thank you for this, Cris! This is my favorite and most reliable Aegislash gold-badge build as well, but teammates often underestimate because they think "potion" is automatically associated with noobs
I commented on another video: season 1 player. High ranking typically. I love on potion. Especially after the update season 4/5 whenever. It keeps you in fights. Less basing. Low cool down. All those fights where you save your eject button guess what, I’m healing. Defender supporter main. I get big value. All you full heals that don’t block damage and still miss the CC window. I’m healing. It’s pineapple on pizza. It’s a meme y’all hate on just because.
I’m sad even top players have died on the hill of talking crap about potion. People just don’t know how to use it. As mamo I can disengage to a bush. Potion, and pop right back up into a fight for my team. Big momentum you never see. Everybody grow up and use potion. This is not a paid sponsorship

Okay, but can we talk about how much Aegislash stuns? If you are a melee, you literally can't move against it, it just Shadow claw -> Wide guard -> Shadow Claw and so on. I recently got matched against a Trev and Aegi and both of them stun locked me for like 10 seconds
Wide guard shouldn't stun at all, idk why people say this pokemon is bad when every Aegislash I'm against gets like 10 KO every match

Lol Aegislash is bad, just because Wide guard stuns and you got destroyed means that a mon is unbalanced

He struggles on CC cuz he's kissing tanks and CC'ers, gets his ass eaten by ttar, boosteds don't heal enough or does enough damage (even with stacks, which is hard cuz he has paper defenses) drio has positioning while buzz has more superior CC options than sword lmao
