Every since Daisy got into Super Mario Run and Smash Ultimate, she really been getting the long overdue respect she always deserved. Next, I hope she makes it into the next 3d Mario game.

I've been hearing a lot of Daisy's fans want more love for and wants her to shine like the Mario Wonder game for an example.

Daiy is getting added to the parade, she was made playable in Wonder, she just got an action for the first time in the Jakks World of Nintendo toy line..I feel like she's definitely making an appearance in the Mario Movie sequel.

This is tying in with the sequel in plain sight. We know that Yoshi will play a major role in the upcoming movie thanks to the post credit scene. Thanks to that storyboard leak of Mario and Luigi in the bazaar, we know that a desert world will be a location. It may or not be Sarasaland, but Daisy is often associated with deserts.
Character dynamics throughout the movies will be on par with Sony's Spider-Verse in that you have 3 main characters and they’re joined by different allies. In Spider-Verse, the main trio is Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker. Into the Spider-Verse had the aforementioned trio with Spider-Ham, Spider-Noir and Peni Parker with Sp/Dr. Across the Spider-Verse had the trio with Miguel O'Hara, Pavitr Parker and Spider-Punk. Peni had a significantly diminished role. Ham and Noir didn’t appear until the end of the movie.
The main trio in the Mario movies is Mario, Luigi and Peach. You have Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad and Donkey Kong in the first movie. The sequel will change the dynamics. We'll have Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi and Daisy.

And now that you've mentioned it... yeah, it's strange how Yoshi doesn't appear for meet and greets despite having a mascot costume of his own. Maybe he and Daisy will receive 'em eventually? I hope so!
