Antonio Conte has improved Tottenham Hotspur enormously, so much so that they finished in the Champions League places. With that comes the allure of better players. Conte improved each player individually, and Spurs have already made moves in this transfer window. So whilst more new signings aren’t necessary, there are some sensible ones.

Absolutely love the Fabian Ruiz one, would love to see him in the Prem and it represents a good deal all-round! 👏
He’s not going to the prem
@@purpleperc1012 how do you know?
@@purpleperc1012 there’s no reason for any player not to go to the prem, besides the weather
Lies again? Transaction History
Ruiz is an awesome player. Very graceful and a joy to watch while also being disciplined and strong enough to not be a liability.
he's also flexible in the midfield, he can be a pivot in both offense or defense with his height (6'2) , a playmaker or deep-lying playmaker, and also good at reading the ball which makes him also a good defensive midfielder.
Spurs got a beautiful squad with all the signings they've made if they add anyone else it will just make them even better!
lots of potential
id hope for any club if they signed a player it would be to make their team better
Lenglet, one man who can spoil it all
@@Thesportsgamer Even Spurs ;)
The best part is that all have come for a cheap except Richarlison but Bergwijn's sale could offset some of the cost.
I would like to see a video about the current problems the Mexico national team is going through
Easy: their golden generation is old and they don’t develop talent
@@tredaviousbowser7931 & the coach is stubborn using players that are not on-form
Yes
They are in the World Cup, so nothing to complain about🤡
@@erikalmroth3647 i suppose, but its quite obvious they arent even close to what the used to be
I would really like to see a sensible transfers video on Athletic Bilbao. I believe it will provide a bit of a challenge since you would only be able to pick players that are basque or of basque heritage/upbringing. They just signed Valverde as their coach and I believe that it could make a very interesting video.
would be happy with lenglet on loan. low risk, high reward. if he fails, we go for a big centre back next year (when they’ll hopefully be cheaper). if he hits the ground running, sign him for a bargain. win-win.
Why would a CB be cheaper next year? Are there a lot of contracts expiring or you thinking there is some kind of pricing bubble?
@@romanschuster1709 The only two players in that position we were linked with who would be a significant improvement over Davies were Gvardiol and Bastoni, both of which are very expensive and don't seem like they're keen on moving yet.
@@archdukefranzferdinand567 And that IS a key point here. Ben Davies’ form improved immeasurably - indeed arguably Spurs’ best defender - in the 2nd half of last season. I don’t see any incoming CB automatically dislodging him.
Shout out to the production team, the visual quality of videos keeps improving 👏
These seem like actual sensible transfer, not just cheap/little-known players
Last time TIFO suggested Tanguy Ndombele, we hired him and every body discovered what happend 😂😂
Everybody Ndombele was a baller it doesent work out like that all the time
The CB signing must definitely have been Max Kilman, left footed, amazing at defending and is also very progressive and has loads of experience in a back 3
I doubt it could happen - and it'd probably overcrowd our defense - but Bastoni or Badiashile Gvardiol & Romero in a back 3 would surely be near invincible
Chuck in gvardiol and we are cooking.
I think timber next year would do tottenham good.
@@leonvandijken5652 good player 👏
Fabian Ruiz is an interesting shout. Bissouma x Ruiz is a midfield I'd like to see at the lane
they don’t play at the lane
@@alfiemcfarland4073 ironically, they’re now closer than ever to White Hart Lane.
@@alfiemcfarland4073 nobody calls it the Tottenham Hotspur stadium honestly. Its built on top of White Hart Lane, so we don't mind calling it the lane.
In the inimitable words of JJ The Bullard... "yessshhhh'!
National teams on a kind of sensible lineup would be a blast of content
Luis Alberto is also a good option. He's close to running down his contract and he's been an exceptional playmaker.
Haha liverpool reject your clubs next star 🤣
@@reymysterio619b didn’t work out too bad for Raheem sterling did it?
@@Mindyobidnessfr raheem wasnt a reject he was a traitor
@@Mindyobidnessfr conor coady, jonjo shelvey ,dom solanke , suso and luis Alberto . This . This is a list among some of Liverpools rejects. Raheem is not included. Get some common football knowledge before you speak
@@reymysterio619b everybody who leave Liverpool isn’t a reject not everybody works at every club learn some football knowledge
Can you do one for barcelona fc? It'd be interesting to know how they should tackle their rebuilding process
Bruh it feels like every other video they make is about Barca, go through the feed
I think conte may give up the creative cm and look to hVe the creativity from the front 3 with Kane dropping and the WB’s moving forward.
I was thinking that. Let's not forget that Kulu had more assists than any other player in the PL (I believe) from January onwards.
Against strong team we might see Kane and Kulu dropping as 2 number 10s, where Son or Richarlison given the front role as no.9, that would allow us to have 2 CMS to cover
Nah, you still need someone with passing ability in the middle, because in some games it becomes necessary to build through the middle. You still need to get the ball TO the front three!
It might be a Spurs year, I really do think so.
Should get a Newcastle one especially after buying Botman
Please do Everton next, would like to see what you would do regarding the FFP-rules
Yeah there in a mess but don’t know if you could do one they literally have nothing to spend 😂
@@antmanandthecod6073 They sold Richarlison! Probably have 50M to spend now.
what an amazingly produced video this is
Great video, crazy how u guys make football videos sound like an academic lesson
Badiashile, Gvardiol and Botman have all aged incredibly well
With Richarlison recently signed, Spurs have been wining this window n
Tifo helping me to relax during the offseason ❤
Video format idea: sensible selection, where you analyse national teams and what players should be giving a chance
Sensible transfers is what got me on tifo, howdy from Texas.
Where's Richarlison
I think this video was uploaded late. Botman has already joined Newcastle.
Love these videos! Can you please do Newcastle again soon!!??
Final couple second snippets of a probable starting line-up,,,,,,,,,nice touch 👍
Conte working his magic. Spurs will be a real threat next season
I think this video could have had some updates on centre back suggestions since Gvardiol had already signed a contract extension with Leipzig a week ago. Also instead of Eriksen/Ruiz a better suggestion would be Tielemans as he is quite creative and may want Champions league football.
Nah tielemans to expensive and isn't good enough of the ball
And Botman gone to Newcastle
22/23 will be the battle between Conteism and Spursism.
Next season is really interesting for antonio conte. His first full season!
came 4th after half a season of influence, only 3 points behind 3rd place too. Now with a deeper squad and full season, it could be silver time
I subscribed, but the only sensible transfers for Newcastle was for the January window. Is there an updated article somewhere for the summer transfer window?
Man that tune is banging. Bobbing my head throughout the entire video.
Didn't Botman already sign for Newcastle?
In previous Sensible Transfers, Clement Lenglet is one of your pick for central defender. Now with Lenglet is likely to be done this week on loan, I would love to see your insight about Lenglet on Spurs' current problem.
Lloris
Lenglet
Dier
Romero
Regulion
Spence
Højbjerg
Bissouma
Kulusevski
Son
Kane
Perisic, Richarlison, Moura etc ...
Very solid bench as well depth looking good.
Perisic starts over Reguilon. Reguilon is the 3rd choice lwb behind Sessgnon as well.
@@user-jo4xb8rf9i Reguilon will most likely be sold
£15m for Spence is daylight robbery from Boro!
thank cooper
Hmm. I’d say whilst £15m is a lot of money to Boro, it’s pocket change to Tottenham.
I love your channel. Ty
I'm surprised they did not go with Lisandro Martinez, but perhaps the competition was too strong and would cost too much. He's played as CB in back 4, as well as LB and even CDM but he's basically a natural LCD in a back three, which is rare.
Think Sergej Milinković-Savić would be a great purchase for them and would pair well with Bissouma, Bissouma could hold and let Savic push forward like he did last season. Also a shoot for a LCB would be Calvin Bassey, good on the ball, athletic, and strong think his game would translate really well. I think they need 2 CBs, Romero the only one I trust in spurs back 3
Savic is my dream signing but it will never happen he’ll end up at a oil club for sure
Sms is sooo overrated online 😅😂
@@colouredIncognito you think so? Why is that?
@@colouredIncognito 11 goals and 11 assists last year in Serie A, Lazio allowed him to press more and brought the best out of him
I wonder when this was filmed since Botman was announced as a Newcastle player a few days before this released
To be honest...Eriksen makes a lot more sense for Tottenham. Fabian Ruiz would be the perfect fit for Arsenal unless both clubs are willing to pay over 50 mil for Milinkovic Savic!
Ahh, finally a vid for Toeinham
Tottenham will spend a LOT of money on a LCB. It’s clearly a weak position. If they bring Bremer in - wow, what a defence! 😧
They also need a playmaker and clearly don’t fancy Eriksen. I’m guessing less money here as others can compensate that role.
Interesting team Conte is building.
They won’t Lenglet is basically done
@@sbtruestone The word is, he’s a back-up and they’re still in the market. Makes sense.
@@sbtruestone So that makes in physically impossible that we buy another? We're expecting at least one of our current CBs to go out.
Eriksen now is a united player unfortunately
Really like this video. I'm not fully up to date with European football so hearing these names that are new to me is much more interesting other channels that only mention the obvious ones.
With Conte and these new players arriving i can see Tottenham fighting for titles, well maybe not PL or CL but a Europa League maybe...
Spurs will never win the Europa League. Nobody at the club cares about it. We've played in it numerous times and we usually play a reserve side.
This season is about Closing the gap Conte aint here to get top 4 and win domestic cups he wants the title.
So you're talking about Sven Botman but he already signed at Newcastle
Yep, very weird. This could surely have been easily edited out if made several weeks ago and replaced with another player.
I would love a video about Berlusconi-Galliani duo in Monza
Botman had signed for Newcastle??
Djed Spence is almost done!! Damn!! Spurs did listen to Tifo this time
Bassuma brought in and then totally ignored by this, i would of brought 2 central defenders and replaced both davis and dier, that way you dont need a player that can do both, opens up way more options for you
Ruiz makes a ton of sense! Let’s go Coys!
These videos are so cool!! Can you please do a Real Madrid one ??
Would you !!!!plzzz!!!! do a video on data analytics!? Which players are the 100th percentile per stat.
James Maddison and Paqueta would make a good window.
Ruiz is a amazing suggestion
You miss piero hincapie for leverkusen
No way you didn't mention Lenglet, Conte's a big fan of him and he is a good fit for the spurs system
Would love to see Saul niguez, atletico are in a financial mess, need to offload, and he's so versatile. He can play as 10,8,6 in midfield, or he can almost anywhere across the backline (started his career as a cb) was even used as an auxiliary target man by simeone at times. He also has years of simeone conditioning and positional training meaning he'd fit seamlessly into a conte system! Also still a prime age, but brings title winning experience, leadership experience.
Wasn’t he at Chelsea last season? He didn’t set the world alight from what I have seen.
@@rayhan15243 he was, but he wasn't ever really given game time, ahead of Kovacic who was probably Chelsea's best player, and when they did use him it was mainly as lwb in cup competitions and he did alright considering! Plus there's always a season for a player to settle into a. The culture/language of a different country and b. The physical demands of the premier league (without sounding to brexity).
you made about inter's sensible transfers 3 years ago, can you make a new one please.
I think with a creative midfielder we want someone who’s versatile. This means they need to be comfortable as a central midfielder on the left of a 352, but they also need to be comfortable in one of the attacking midfielder positions in the 343 so they can cover for Son/Kulusevski. So with this in mind I would like to see Calhanoglu join, Paqueta or even Maddison if we need the home grown quota.
Sooooo good video as a spurs fan
hello..what type of software do use to edit your videos...i wud like to start my chanel but dont have the necessary skills.....i have done small video and wud like to keep going...kindly ur feedback will be appreciated
hasn't Botman already signed for Newcastle?
Can’t help but feel that these videos cannot be made too far in advance in such a fast moving transfer market… appreciate the effort but just comes across as out of date
Indeed. However, you’ve always got to remember that the motivation of a media company isn’t accuracy of information but rather, to simply get the view count. As long as you’re clicking, they don’t care.
Hasn't Botman pretty much signed for Newcastle already?
Yep
Is this only premier league teams? Or is there any chance Dortmund can get a video for their crazy summer so far
Obviously this video will have been made some time ago, but Botman already chose for Newcastle. And with the arrival of Yves Bissouma, Spurs are focussing on other positions than central midfield, so Eriksen rejoining Spurs seems unlikely.
It's literally said and shown on the video that Botman is already headed for Newcastle.
@@eucherenkov My bad, that's what you get when you are using this more as a podcast than as a video. XD You are right that it is being shown, however it hasn't actually been said anywhere in the video (or not in the version I'm getting anyway). If that were the case, then I obviously wouldn't have said so in my previous comment.
Gotta start tagging with season on title
Great video. Note that you mispronounced Paratici though.
I wonder if some of these managers take tips from these videos as well.
Sensible transfers for FC Porto, Sporting CP or Benfica, plz. 🙏
What about Arsenal’s sensible transfer for the 22/23 season which it’ll be an interesting one to discuss.
Gvardiol would be a fantastic signing for Barcelona as well
Looking forward to the Liverpool sensible transfers.
Thank you Tifo for another great video. Come on you Spurs!
Please do the story of World Cup qualification 2022
Fabian Ruiz will have to start making quicker decisions if he leaves Napoli for the Premier League. He's talented and technical, but a bit too relaxed on the ball.
When Joe inevitably fires JJ, will we be getting a Sensible Transfers: TIFO?
The departure of Alex has left a big hole in both knowledge and credibility, I know we are famous for bringing through up and coming talent but I'd like to see us splash the cash and bring in a ready made replacement like superstar Iain Macintosh.
Botman has signed for Newcastle
Hasn’t botman gone to Newcastle?
I would love to see a Chelsea sensible transfers .they have lost couple of defenders
Might struggle with Sven Botman...
Botman has signed for Newcastle last week, this video was made this week.arent you keeping up with the transfer news.
Botman Just signed for Newcastle right?
It's literally on the video on his chest
Can you do teams other than premier league teams
can you make one for Liverpool FC? love the content Tifo!
Do Everton please
Fabian Ruiz is very technical and a good player to watch, but he has none of the physical attributes to adapt to english football. I don't think Conte would want him tbh.
Tifo please do a sensible transfer about Chelsea
I would like to see Chelsea in for both Badiashile and Gvardiol.
Can you do one for Bayern?
Spurs should Sign Savic and Pau Torres just the players they need.
Botman already signed for Newcastle
And Eriksen is confirmed to be signed by Man United via Fabrizio and Ornstein
What about Richarlison? Do you guys think he was signed to sit on the bench? I think that with his striker/winger skills, physicality, he could easily play in the left wing, while Son could move to the right bc he's good with both foot, and finally Kane as a false 9, making up space for either Son or Richarlison to tuck inside for Kane to provide the assists, and with his superb passing range with both foot, that wouldn't be a problem at all, just take his amazing performance against City as one example...
Richarlison was signed so Tottenham could rotate their front 3 with little-to-no drop in threat. It is going to give them competitive advantage in an era of 5 substitutions.
