The only FaZe member that pretty much everybody considers the best/most humble is Jev. He has stayed true to his core, literally never changed for money, keeps to himself, stays out of drama, and is genuinely a good dude. He recently made a video talking about this whole situation. Y'all should check it out :)
Yourrage and kayson are pretty good dudes and are relatively entertaining. They don't usually eat into any drama unless it's in their own community.

FaZe Banks did not start FaZe. Whenever FaZe was starting to get a buzz, he was on team SoaR and eventually joined FaZe. He joined relatively early on, but Temperr is what made FaZe what it is. Which, to be fair, he is also back as well. This was to be expected as they had already decided they were going to do this and shrink FaZe back to the core members, and most fans were anticipating this once they got control back.
Temper stole faze from some.guys you probably never heard of and made it big.

Why? The affected "members" are just a bunch of youtubers/streamers. None of the faze clan members have any high-level skill in any game what so ever. The org owns multiple esports teams but the players are on contract as players, they're not "members" of faze in the same way as banks etc even though they're imo doing more for the faze brand than the average influencers are
tbh, part of me almost wishes Jev would have gotten kicked out of Faze. He would be totally fine on his own (honestly, I think even he knows that), and it sucks to see him get lumped in with the rest of shitty FaZe members by people who are ignorant about him.

@@PSYMEDIC I assume it's because he's thankful to them for helping kickstart his career, and he also doesn't like changing his life too drastically unless he has a good reason to. So far, none of faze's bad publicity has really ever affected him directly as an individual, so he really doesn't have a reason to need the change.

@@PSYMEDIC afaik, he doesn't work with them. Like at all. He stays out of the hype houses, he doesn't do any collabs with other members, he doesn't get into any crypto shit, and he doesn't have any sponsors apart from gfuel which he only did because he liked gfuel.
From a viewer's perspective, as far as I can tell, the only thing jev might be giving to faze at all is some percentage of his CZcams channel income. And that's purely speculation. Outside of that, he hasn't done any direct work for the team, at least in recent years. Tbh it's a strange relationship that even I don't fully get, but I empathize with his desire to just keep to himself and avoid making waves.
I think we are reaching a point in human history where the best reference for an employee is being fired from a specific company.
The ONLY person that matters in Faze at this point is Jev. He embodies the original spirit of that the team meant in its beginnings. He’s one of the only ones who keeps to himself, doesn’t involve himself in any drama, isn’t in it for his own interests and off promoting separate ventures, etc. Faze is a shell of its former self and this is a step in the right direction.
The last time i heard about Faze was when one of their members was part of the Save the Kids crypto scam
It always should've stayed a small close-knit group of memorable personalities. The brand has more potential that way. There was a time that I could recognize near every FaZe member's name even though I never watched a single video. I don't know if it was a PERSONAL mistake to do what they did though, I'm sure Banks made a fortune selling the company, letting it get die, then buying it back for a discount.

so what i remember from back then.. FaZe was created by a Person (i forgot his name) who then recruited a bunch of people. One of those recruited people was FaZe Temperrr who then ended up stealing the channel and rest is history.
There was youtube drama about this, but FaZe was basically nothing then compared to now.. so not everybody picked up on it.

faze has something that is truly untapped in this market. trickshotting is the silver bullet to sbmm. sbmm is the result of modern streamer culture where just getting most kills and being #1 is the most important. but with trick shotting its not just efficient its style. this is what faze needs to highlight having style. say what you want but the 420 mlg no scope montages were and incredibly definitive style and thats what put them on the map.

i remember back in early 2000s of gaming ppl loved clans. ppl that had no idea how to join would just put the clan tag in there name and boom they was in. The only thing we cared about was clan numbers and exposure. The point i am trying to make is All these ppl in faze didnt have to get booted like that instead they could have cut the bag a bit shorter (money) and allow the ones really putting in work for faze stay.

everyone wanted to be in faze back in the day because it was exclusive and you were known if you got in, and the faze recruitment thing with it being a competition by nature was a good part of their viewers. so in turn the whole exclusivity thing died after they brang too many people in after years of said comps making it way less exclusive, and banks knows that id assume, hence the reboot.
