Even with the control arm out it is still a pain. You made it look easy. Took my ‘75 to a auto shop a couple years before I did the engine swap and they declined to do the motor Mount replacement.
I've found that, with old Mopars, updating/upgrading the motor mounts to the "Spool" mounts is the way to go. Energy Suspension even makes a poly insert for them, but if too much for folks, you can fill the voids. My POV is "If I'm in here this deep, I'm making things better & more durable"

Worked at Willow Run Assembly then and I worked on the frame line motor mounts were the first thing put on the frame and the frame was upside down.
A well positioned 2" hole saw lets you get your fingers in behind to hold the bolts.
