When I was 16 I did shrooms too many times, but one time I vividly remember tripping too hard in my room alone listening to the first episode of this podcast, Cody talked about the play Hurly Burly and I felt like a degenerate, like Cody was saying at like 20 minutes in, but this podcast was the only thing that made me remember real life existed in that moment. Crazy to hear y’all rlly talk about shrooms because for me this podcast and shrooms have been linked in my mind so long.

Noel joking about smashing his face with a rock reminded me of trippy on lucy with one friend back in the day, I had a weird thought at the very end of the night as we were going to bed that my friend might try to murder me in my sleep and when I half-jokingly verbalised it my friend confessed she had been thinking the exact same thing about me lmao

I personally loved doing booms alone, after being trip sat the first time of coarse. It was very enlightening and beautiful.
Even if they have changed alot and people may not find them as funny anymore, they will always be appreciated for the level of dry comedy they provided that, as far as I know, no one else was doing at the time, it was just different and hilarious as fuck.
