- Welcome back to the channel.
Today we are taking a quick look by way of some talking points of the LG C1 OLED. It's approaching two years in my household and I know that I won't have it much longer, so I wanted to make some content around it to give it some appreciation and, to spearhead into tomorrow upload where we will go deeper into my image retention issues around this panel. - Zábava
I’m loving my C1 I’ll be skipping C3/C4 and C5 😊
Lol.
But the C4 will be the bomb
@@Skanky-Skunk 😂
I skip the c2 and I will skip c3 as well and I’ll upgrade to the c4 which probably will get release next year
@@medicine366 👍
Proud owner of a LG C1 65inch. My first OLED purchase of 2022, and 1 year later it looks and runs like brand new. I have my PS5, PS3, and Xbox 360 connected to it and they look and run great. Definitely worth the purchase. 🙏🏼
Hell yeah.
I not going to sell my C1 because to me I think it's still looks great man
I love to hear it.
@@AllAboutTKK 😎👍
Your page was part of my inspiration I have a 65 inch LG C2 for home theater use now and have a 42 inch c2 on my desk as a main monitor and a LG 1440p gsync as a secondary feel like I have my dream setup going. Looking forward to the new tech that coming out as well.
Incredible TV! I purchased mine last year & I am still very happy with it it’s amazing 🤩
I'm glad I found this channel. Thanks for the excellent content
Thank you, sir.
always love these videos and just the way you speak about it in general very well put ! I love my c1 I have no issues no image retention yet or dead pixels wich is way more likely to have like what happened to my c9 I can't wait to get a qd oled next or maybe a a95k we will see when these new tvs drop. great channel bro appreciate your content I love tvs and this channel I like better than most you quantum fomo Brian tech therapy etc my go too channels!
Max Luv man thanks for the support.
Yea I'm VERY interested to see in the next vid what actually burned in or retention. All points are dead on C1 has been great and since I have the 83 inch I'll be set cause 83 inch G3 isn't even getting the MLA and I just had to have bigger I game TONS and use for desktop for pc as well. Movies too of course, but I had such great experience with my C9 I didn't even buy warranty for my C1 83 incher. I kept all things on and altered nothing in the service menu on the C9. Anyway another great video , keep at it.
Max Luv. Got a shout out for you next video, Champ.
Man you hit that shit on the head. I do appreciate what the LG CX brings to the table being my very first OLED. I definitely agree with your words on this set it's just not magical enough to keep. Brother I definitely needed content like yours before I made that purchase.
My brother I appreciate your kind words.
Your next move will be your best move, CX was like C8, minimal upgrades. The issue is when LG started segregating C and now E models, was even worst when they had G along with the others.
Seeing that you are a seasoned oled owner it would be cool to see your picture settings or hear your recommendations. I know this is subjective but I'm always looking to try different settings to improve the gaming experience. Awesome content man!
I appreciate the compliment thank you.
Which OLED do you currently own?
Rocking the same tv 77in lg c1 first Oled
I won't be replacing my 77" C1 anytime soon, had it for about a year and keeps impressing me every time I turn that power button on.
Love it. Enjoying mine too.
TKK, You came up with a great idea...be one of the first out of the gate with your purchases! Do the unboxing and then do the initial review. If the picture changes after the 200 hour burn-in (or for any other reason), do an update video. Look at how many videos the Samsung 95B has generated (and still does) based on the firmware updates and their effect on PQ. I know I always watch first reviews of products I'm interested in for sure!
Thank you bro.
I'm interested in your C1 video following this but with plex being the main application could you also talk about movies and tv shows you been enjoying lately on the oled? I think that would be nice cool video here.
Yes sir. Can do it within this video coming up.
I’m holding out for the G3. I hope it’s great. My first OLED. I’m getting 65 and 77.
I just noticed yesterday on a light/medium gray background I see vertical banding it doesn’t effect picture quality at all unless I’m staring at a complete gray background but I’m looking forward to either the G3 or the next Sony or Samsung whichever looks best is what ima get but have you had any vertical banding or issues with your S95B TTK?? And as always great informative content keep up the great work homie
Thank you.
I’ve had none on the S95B, but I also haven’t really stalked it either. I will be sure to and will keep the channel informed.
Thank you for the kind words.
I’m loving mine. Would upgrade, but my boss would disagree that we need a new tv :).
Haha I felt that.
yeah I love my c1 i just wished lg oled's supported the dts-x surround format
TKK thanks for the video I'm looking to get an OLED most likely the LG C series later this year and wondering did you have any drawbacks besides brightness? My primary use is going to be gaming and some sports and etc. My concern is burn in and wondering how do I know nothing won't happen. I currently have the Sony X90J (LCD) and it gets the job done well, but that is different due to the panel type and my mix won't be day and night CNN or FIFA. Please let me know.
Yes. I’ll address your comment in tonight video which will be live tomorrow.
C1 was a change upgrade from CX.
im a C1 user and owner and with all updates it stills great with similar webos like C2 or C3 even almost same remote control.
C1 changed gamers option and now C2 and C3 stills with almost similar screen.
The best tv purchase I ever made has been my C1 and I won't be upgrading to another tv anytime soon.
Sorry to hear about your image retention, have anyone heard of oleds with heatsinks having image retention , I own 3 oleds with heatsinks 2 Panasonics and one sony oled .
Ah it’s no worries thank you.
another thing I'll add is I always purchase at best buy with a warranty and when my c9 had dead pixels the replaced with a brand new c1 in the box so to anyone buying a oled I'd say make sure u do that best buy covers burn in also
Facts facts facts.
One of the reasons why I love it so much is because it allows black frame insertion at 120fps!!
My lag tester shows me higher input lag with BFI, I strongly believe this is why it was dropped in C2.
@@AllAboutTKK Totally agree! But for single player games, dayum that motion clarity is elite!!
You ain’t never lied there!
I have both a 77CX and 77C1. Both are a 9/10. What really annoys me is the bad reflection handling. Whenever I replace one of those, it will be a QLED one, as I believe they have improved a lot in terms of contrast, black, blooming etc... judging by the QN95B. No need to bet on OLED (or QD-OLED) tech anymore (my opinion)
I have a LG OLED E8.. Man I'll tell you these tvs don't last long. The health bars from videogames are burned in my tv.. The stock bars from stock channels are burned in.. All the people who are buying now will enjoy a fucked up screen right when that warranty runs out.
The LG G3 is indeed very bright ; colourful and better
Love my C1 OLEDs. Bought them well post-launch at unreal prices: 55 in guest room for $725, 77 in family room for $1400. Was my 1st 77 as well.
For context, also have a 42 C2 & 27 LG OLED monitor in the mail for next week for my upcoming 4090/7800x3d set-up. So I’m definitely invested in WRGB.. 😅
I baby my TVs for burn-in, but not so much that it hinders the viewing experience. No image retention whatsoever so far. Only turn on OLED care options when gaming w/ HUD or watching something w/ a static image on it. Otherwise, run it max brightness for moving content.
Overall, great products. No complaints. OLED is king.
All that being said, MLA in 2024 will definitely be a thing for the C Series & will change everything. Who knows? Maybe even a 32in C4 will be in the mix.. That’ll most likely be my next upgrade if not a heavily discounted S95C W/ EPP/EDU discounts. MLA is already coming w/ my LG 27in OLED monitor, so will have a chance to test new tech soon.
Looking forward to your next upload to further go into one of the goat TVs of these past couple years. 💪
Max Luv bro you spoke that true shit.
Man I'm planning the same build, 4090/7800x3d. Still gonna wait to see what the g3 and s95c offer as I wanna use 1 of them as my "monitor". Thinking g3 because of the panel warranty and the overall maturity if the tech compared to qdoled. Don't know yet. Glad to hear all the good stuff with the c1.
@@badzilla1173 Not a bad idea if you’re ok w/ a 55in as a “monitor”. Tried that w/ my 55 c1 & was too big, personally.
That 4090 7800x3d combo should be legit!
@Douglas Wright I sit roughly 9 feet from a 55 inch rn for my series x. This will be my first pc and I wanted to upgrade the tv/monitor aswell to a 65.
I would let people know you do not baby your televisions and you really do not use any of the onboard tools that are designed to minimize image retention. You use the panels exactly as you want which is why you buy an additional warranty. You are also using your OLED for gaming . Other owners experiences may differ in regards to burn in. As always thanks for your content. Appreciate your grind.
Facts and great point. Prepared to start shooting the video for tomorrow after dinner and will bring up those points.
Max Luv
What’s your go to picture preset for HDR movies?
When you say preset what do you mean?

my hands are getting tired
Lg c1 my output button need a hard push to work after 6 month. Do you have this problem too?
Output button, what is that?
The button on the magic remote that change source
I yust bought c1 for steal 77" for 2400€ hehe and its yust the best probably it has the new evo panel
Do you have the 3d oled ?
No longer do I have a 3D OLED.
Still got my C1 from a sale last year (not even a year old) got a PS5 for Christmas played Calisto Protocol and it looks insane.
I’m planning on building a PC this year and these OLED monitors LG are coming out with this year piqued my interest, while researching I saw a video where someone ranks them a step below the C1, just goes to show you how strong it’s going today.
Facts.
I’m really on the fence with the C2 77 inch and the S95B. I’m coming from a 55 inch CX so either is an upgrade but this has been a tough decision
Man if you can afford the physical size then 77” is much more immersive than 65, can’t every escape that size is King with a tv.
@@AllAboutTKK I can afford the size, I’m in an apartment but I have a Huge open wall in my living room and I’d be seated about 11 feet away. I’m only on the fence because I have fomo for the QD-Oled
@@TheGhostofMississippi 11ft too far for me for 65”, moved mine about 8.5ft away because of it. 11ft that 77 gone be perfect:
You got a tough choice to make brother.
@@AllAboutTKK you’re right. I’m gone snatch a 55 QD Oled for my room and do the C2 77 for my living room
@@TheGhostofMississippi or best of both, wait and see what that S90C in 77” gone hit for bro.
No offense, but you went way off topic in this video
Okay, why would I take any offense to that?
