    I can’t see Arsenal finishing in the top 8 next season.
    Newcastle , Wolves , Leicester etc moving in the right direction, even Man U.
    While Arsenal look for free agents or some teenagers and hope for the best.

    Big up Turkish
    Turkish you made a good point about Suarez leaving Liverpool.
    Investing in Auba as a business move isn't wise. A 2 year deal would be fine in terms of paying over the odds because I can't see his level dropping by then. 3 years and he may not be the same player.
    If we sign Auba, his goals could be the difference between finishing in the top 4 or not but there is no guarantee that we would bit the top 4 even with him and if we signed him for a couple years and don't sell him now, his value will be f*ck all.
    With our financial situation, I think we should probably sell him. Financial fair play and us making losses, we can't afford to let him leave for free.
    I'd try to sign him on a 2 year deal and sell him for the right money. If he doesn't sign just sell him anyway. The only thing I'm worried about is him going abroad and not to a prem rival.
    I think Martinelli is better through the middle anyway and I think he'd be great up there for us so I think we'll be fine whether Auba stays or goes.

    • @wunwun8875
      @wunwun8875 Před 4 lety

      @@kanig5256 We are broke so selling him is the smart thing to do. Keeping him may get us top 4 but it probably won't if we don't spend in other areas and I'm not sure we have the money to.
      I would put Martinelli through the middle personally but I understand your point. Good enough, you're old enough.

    • @wunwun8875
      @wunwun8875 Před 4 lety

      @@kanig5256 True I agree that we have a better chance with him for sure but if we keep him and don't make the champions league. We are f*cked.
      I would sell him and reinvest the money in a dominant central midfield player. Then sell a few other high earning defenders and buy one quality centre back.
      I think we have enough going forward, even without Auba to be okay providing other areas are improved.
      I just don't think we can afford to take the loss. We have made a big loss for the 2nd year running and even if we make the champions league, financial fair play could mean we are kicked out bro.
      I think we need to sell and reinvest but you do have a point and I understand it, that's just not what I would do.

    If he does not sign another 3-4 year contract then hope we can get 40mil for him. Aubameyang is a top class striker and he does deserve champions league quality football and hes not getting at arsenal. Both him, Martinelli, Pepe and Leno saved us all season res t of the players are just not good enough and should all go. Lacazette was not good enough at arsenal and should go

  • @umairmajeed8094
    @umairmajeed8094 Před 4 lety +1

    Personally, I feel like we should offer Auba an extension and reach an agreement with him. From a financial aspect, if we offered him a 3 year £300,00 p/w contract we'd spend 46.8 million on his deal. Although that does seem like a lot, (which it is), replacing a player of Auba's quality in this inflated market would be much more expensive in my opinion. Also, considering his age and the current Covid-19 impact on the transfer market, we'd be sure to make a loss on him (around 45-50 mill I think he'd go for atm). I feel Auba with his fitness record and output has easily another 2 seasons at the highest level. For me, if he wants to stay, (which I personally feel he does), it makes sense to extend his deal. Arteta has also made it very clear on his preference to keep Auba which I think could help Auba and the club make their respective decisions.
