Curtis cannot possibly question fans *belief* that arteta will get us over the line next season. City are on course for a 91 point season. However, had they beaten us at the emirates and eithad, like they usually do, they would have had 96 points. Implying that they are not exactly a weakened version of city. Does this not indicate we have closed the gap on city ?
We can question arteta's contract renewal if we don't win a major trophy next season, because IMHO, we will definitely win the title.

It's a balance, it's not like every single team in the league, let alone top six, improves every single year without fail. Football is filled with ups and downs.

1. Won his only trophy with a squad that wasn’t his but was EMERYS
2. Lost the league this year from dropped points against EMERY 0 points out of 6
3. LOST a semi final v Villarreal against EMERY
4. Throws away carabao cups and fa cups for a league he hasn’t won.
5. Hasn’t got us to a cup final since the fa cup win.

Just before City game I predicted Arsenal can drop only two points in the last games to win the league. And those two points were at City. It really looked unrealistic winning the league, but Arsenal and Arteta turned it around very well. I didn't expect to win all last games. It was pure hope, but a team made it look anything can happen and Arsenal is able to go on long winning streak. Villa game cost us at the end, but I think Fulham and West Ham games made the biggest damage, dropping our hopes to minimum. I am proud of all team they managed to keep out hopes to the last game. City probablly will smash West Ham, but still little hope is left for Big Sunday
Turkish is right we threw away the title with the west ham and Fulham defeats. I remember then fans saying “how can you give up already, too reactionary, so many games to go,” etc. The fact is that we were right to say the title was done then. Man City always comes out on top in the close battle. If we had the gap we had last year with this seasons team we would’ve won it. Liverpool had that gap they just wasn’t strong enough.
No point in catastrophizing. Worrying about things out of your control going wrong before they happen only brings double the pain and none of the enjoyment if it goes well.

I would like to know why the Kronkies are bashed so much.
