Reaction music video for The B52s,Song for a future generation.A bouncy and quirky song that takes influence from the Brits i think. #b52s #musicreactions #popmusic
Years ago , I was at a radio event in NY and Fred Schneider was a guest DJ. After a few hours , he puts on “Private Idaho” and comes sprinting down out of the booth to dance with everyone.! Later , he did it again and ended the night with “Rock Lobster”...Wherever he goes ..it’s a party 😁
I can’t define camp, but I know it when I hear it. Lots of ‘80s groups tried, but the B52s succeeded in putting camp on vinyl. As did Blondie. Goddess bless them both.
That was the first B52's song I ever heard. On May 14th 1983 they played a televised show in Germany and opened with that song. I saw it on TV then and have been a fan ever since.
Nice reaction to one of my puberty‘s jewels!💎 Thanks and Respect!👍🏼 DeeeLite picked up the same image of SPACE🛸,Peace and Nature Protection from the Bees. Their music is also weird, yet highly danceable.🪙🧚🏼♂️
Not a bad song, but nowhere near their finest moments, IMHO .. Try "Private Idaho", "Rock Lobster" "Roam" or "Love Shack" if you want to hear some of their more commercially successful songs .. Or for a couple of deep cuts, check out "Give Me Back My Man" or "Dirty Back Road" .. They're my favourites .. Cheers, Wayne
It's not just about making babies, making a future generation, it's about the unlimited potential of that new generation, to be anything at all (good and bad, but mostly good). A really bouncy and uplifting song in all sorts of ways
There is something very special about this song....thx for reacting..love you...
Omg...This song was so good..the harmonies at the end is priceless...

This song is like a sci-fi tinder lol...anyways saw them in concert and they rocked Private Idaho, Planet Claire and Rock Lobster of course
The video for Planet Claire is well worth checking out.
I went to one of their shows. It was tons of fun for everyone!
LOVE SHACK!!!
Love Shack is my favorite B-52 song

They are intergalactic travelers that first stepped out of their pyramid on a stop at Athens, Georgia, USA.
Their concerts were exactly that, no way to leave a show and not being exhausted and on top of the world.
Love the B52’s this is a great funny positive vibe tune !
So fun!!!!!
They started in Athens, GA. Along with R.E.M. and Pylon.

Do love shack by b-52’s

4:22 This is art from the movie "Green Slime." 1968. It is an Italian Sci-Fi. It's campy, but fun.
What a wacky song. Great analysis Harri!

I have never been a big fan of 80’s music in general, but there are a few exceptions. The B-52’s are definitely in that category. I love them! 🌺✌️
Lol, they aren't Brits or Americans. They are aliens. You should have checked out the official video for this song. Quite interesting. 😊
I took the lyrics as satire.
Bro B52s is maybe the first american punk rock group.
4:07 "Son of Frankenstein," 1939, is a good movie. Bela Lugosi is very, very good in this flick.

The human league!!! SHOWING YOUR AGE HARRI
Rock Lobster
Not only are they Americans, they're from Athens, GA.
Other great songs from them Love shack and Rome there the songs that made them famous.
ULTRAVOX.,... VIENNA
Pylon is a very good band.
4:03 "Dracula's Daughter," 1931 Universal, took place right after the original with Van Helsing(Sloan) being arrested for the murder of Dracula.
Seems a bit faster.
You should have watched the video to this song.
5:23 Libras? I'm a Libra. We are boring. Our sign is a scale! No one wants to be a Libra.
All today's music is crap. Thank God we have the 70s..and 80s.....
One hit wonders, Love Shack got some radio play.
They were not one hit wonders
@@AG-lm5uf Very true. Love shack was more than a decade after their first hit Rock Lobster. They made several albums during their long career.
Someone only knows these guys through Love Shack. Couldn't be further from one hit wonders!
5:20... Hi, my name is Austin! I'm a Libra, a Singer and Keyboardist... There, just fixed it
for you! ♎🎤😉🎹
