Such a wonderful video made very special by your innovative drone filming, but I suggest that you partly cover your drainpipe to prevent wild birds from perching on them, or, crapping into the pipe which will contaminate your water drum(s). Partly covering will still allow snow melt. It's just a suggestion. As always your video is well edited, carefully so, and the music is always wonderful to listen to. The birds do that on the roof anyway. Thats why the three stage filter with UV sterilizer.

You can find them for sale from time t time. We had to drive to Idaho to get this one and then we replaced the engine.

What are you using for gutters for your water collection? I’m planning on collecting rain and snow water on my cabin when I build it, and my greenhouse, but I worry that the snow coming off the roof would tare the gutters off.
These are Galvalume half round from classic gutters. But to keep the snow from tearing them off we have snow holders installed on the roof. That keep the snow on the roof where it can melt and fill the tanks instead of sliding off.
