Hi Steve. I like those small health/wellness posters and tin signs. As we get older, those are very useful as daily reminders. Also, great you’ve surrounded yourself with things you’ve always wanted. As I approach retirement age, I am realizing anything I’ve always wanted needs to happen now or never. Keep following what your heart desires.
My dad is 70 and in amazing shape. He exercises daily, always eats well, cooks at home almost always, never drinks. It's not hard to adopt good lifestyle habits as many folks are their own worst enemies.
LOL I made that comment too. On one of my few videos that I posted I said I was like a big kid and can't wait to open up the box that I ordered. That's why I do so few unboxing videos, I can't wait to get ahold of my new "toy" 😜😂🤣
This is not a 'lifestyle' post, but it works for me. I am primarily a vegetarian, although I am partial to smoked tilapia, which is somewhat akin to kippers/smoked haddock. My diet comprises green vegetables, garlic, peppers and tofu. I exercise regularly, walking at least 10k per day. And then I have a couple of beers.
Great video, need to stretch more myself. Am not limber like I used to be. Fasting is pretty hard for me, but recently stopped eating processed foods and trying to eat more natural, less carbs and yes alcohol maybe once or twice a week instead of most nights. Good video am glad you are enjoying your retirement. Till the next video, Steve...Jim
Steve can I contact you for advise on srrv ? Scheduled to be there latter part of June and I’ve got no form, no police report…no medical! 3 months ago a friend said to wait and get a tourist visa then srrv after. I think I’ve been misinformed !!!! Went to Philippine embassy to get application but they don’t have them. Called VA about a medical report and they never heard of them. Called local police department and report wouldn’t be mailed before I leave !!! Can you help ?!
I never hear anyone talk about Tricare for life for insurance. I thought you was retired military? It is on line you can read about. Maybe this could help you and others.
Steve - great video but a question off subject. What is the make of the guitar hanging on your wall? Very interesting cut-away design and headstock. Is it Asian?
@MrSteven5975 Awesome, keep playing. I only brought 1 of my guitars to Philippines (my beloved Martin) and have looked at a few Asian brands. I've been playing since I was 12 but my retirement here has allowed me time to really explore scales, theory, techniques etc. To your original point stay occupied.
❤❤❤
Steve, I bought a coffee ☕️ cup simply because it says, "That I have the vocabulary of a well educated Sailor". It is my favorite cup.
Good stuff THX
I check my blood pressure, o2 level, pulse and temperature everyday.
Stay away from sugar and alcohol.
Walk 8 to 10 klm a day.
Good video Steve.
I have some on my walls, my favorite is: "man with hands in pockets all day feel cocky"!
I had much stress and anxiety when I came here it’s gone now so my advice hang in there

Sounds great!

How about adding a White tail buck mount, Large mouth Bass and a Bear trap on the wall u can be back in the cabin and the Philippines at the same time
I enjoyed the conversation for we have a lot in common.
Looking at your signs, you have one for Willys. When I was in the 3rd and 4th grade "our car" was a Willys Overland station wagon.

Bible provides solid wisdom

It’s some Asian make but a great sound. I’m going to get an electric and a 12 string in the future. Maybe a cheap Bass to play with. I love music.
