These settings are running beautifully on my rig. I was even able to crank a few more of the settings to 'Epic' without a sizeable dip in performance as well. Thank you as this not only looks, but feels like a truly immersive sim now!
I have to thank you, I tested your modifications and...I was convinced that I had the game tailored to me but in reality it is now much more immersive and this series of modifications has been a total gamechanger.
Appreciate these types of videos, would love to see a series of vids on ACC car setup tips with some explanation on how to balance the car out to get maximum performance once you've got a track down (consistent racing line, braking points, lap times, etc.)
To be fair you're videos are the best looking sim videos out there. Keep up the good work mate
Amazing how these few tweaks change the performance, look and feel of the whole game!
It runs and looks great! Thanks a lot!
You know, a while back I read a snarky comment from a subscriber who was pretty upset because they were under the assumption you received the NLR traction plus free. They threatened to leave the channel. And you retorted and explained the system was on loan and furthermore, if they had any idea how much time you put into your channel on top of a full-time job they would extend more respect.
You're not kidding, just realizing how many processes you undertake to present to us quality material to make informed decisions is mind blowing. Thank you for the sacrifices you make in your personal life to make this channel something we all enjoy (sim racing) enjoyable.
Thanks mate. As Denzel Washington once said, you’ll never be criticised by someone doing more than you.
Appreciate these videos, Will! Getting all my friends back into ACC and this is the perfect thing we needed to jump in.
Made all the difference ! My video card is 5 degrees cooler and frames went from 70 to 120 !!! Thanks Will !
Applied your settings to ACC on my system and it looks and runs awesome!!! Thank you so much for this!
Glad it helped!
Cheers Will. Perfect timing - about to install ACC for the first time today.
Excellent guide, helped me fine tune the game to look a million times better!
Very helpful, and i am happy that you can run such i high graphics setting for your 3x4k Monitor. Amazing job and thx a lot for introducing.
This may have already been mentioned, but your explanation about DLSS was incorrect. It does not dynamically scale the resolution, it uses a static resolution which is selected depending on which "DLSS Quality" setting is chosen, with "performance" being the lowest internal resolution. Then, it uses a machine learning algorithm to artificially create new pixels to bring the final resolution back to the desired resolution. From what I've found, performance mode halves the internal resolution before applying the machine learning algorithm to create new pixels. The sharpness selection then, from what I understand, is just a traditional sharpness filter applied after the machine learning algorithm to make the final image look more sharp. Basically, unsharp mask without the ability to change the radius, and the percentage being how much sharpening is applied.
Found this hilarious as well.
I wouldn't know what to do if I had a sim as awesome as yours will! I thought going from a g29 to my first direct drive set up was a big step but you sir are on a totally different level!! I love it
¡Thats a huge upgrade! ¡Enjoy!
@@ravelord4028 I am enjoying it!! Thank you! It's night and day difference

How did you get yours? I can’t find them anywhere

Thanks for this man! will try make mine better after watching this. Would love one for iRacing too with focus on best settings for night races.

I have an ultra wide. I notice turning triples on I get more widescreen/triple m settings in "view settings pause menu" to play with...or you feel im going about that wrong?
For the resolution trick , instead of changing the json file manually , why dint u use nvidia surround ? If u do you will then get access via the ingame menu to the native nvidia surround resolution , in your case your 3 times 4k resolution , in my case 10340x1440

@@boostedmedia thanks for the killer content mate! Greetings from Florida!
Great video... I thought I had some good settings for my RTX3060 on my 34" widescreen but with some of your tips I could easily boost from ~110 to ~130 FPS. Thank you very much! :)
How did it turn out? Just got a 3060 about a month ago and I’m seeing this video at work.
How do i access the video settings?
Thank you! Will definetly try out the image customization :)
Thank you for this - just setup with a newly 3090ti and it looks so much better ..... like amazing :-)
Extremely useful. Thank you! We are running the same 3090 and resolution and you’ve just gained me nearly 20fps!
Thank you again. Rich
Thank you. question; Where did you take your racing gloves ??
Thank you, i think the only thing missing was the global/program settings to use under GPU control panel which has nearly as many options
my question is 2 fold. at what psi does life start. and the 2nd is what are the settings when you have a monster style pc like 5900x 3080 or same 3090. thx
nice tutorial on settings, thank you, helped a lot. also... does anyone know how i would get the "Bosch" rear view video screen? i can not find an explaination anywhere on how to add it to my dash.
Thank you for this, late to the game, I shall review my settings!
Do you have a video showing the way your physical setup is done? The roll bars, netting, etc
Note: setting a frame rate limit to exactly what the monitor refresh rate is can hurt performance if there is no variable refresh rate sync. This is because the GPU is not guaranteed to output a frame at the exact interval the monitor is refreshing at.
Step 1: buy a 3090

Thanks will be checking this out. Could also do with some simucube 1 settings as well 20nm would one of your old videos work possibly. I'm having more trouble with AC really
Thanks Will. Great info. 👍
Thanks for the tips. When setting up the custom res, (11,520 X 2160) I have a gap at the bottom of the monitors showing the desktop. Any suggestions? Running 48" 4k OLED 140Hz 3840 X 2160
Fantastic! TU! Now can you share your GoPro setting's as well? i do record some POV Races and sure my settings could improve
thanks now my videos look more realistic than before
Great vid .. very informative!
I would love to know how you set up the FFB for ACC with your Simucube 2 as mine feels like a big rubber band and I can't feel any connection between the tyres and the road!
What should the fsr sharpness be set to? Leave at 80?
Cheers mate for the informative video.
@Boosted Media
do you use nvidia surround?
and if not why?
Damn!!! You saved my game play on this!! My graphics looked terrible, unplayable even after upgrading from 2080 super to an AMD 7900xtx. Thought I got a bum deal. My wife works at AMD so we get a nice discount we couldn’t pass up compared to nvidia prices.
are these good settings for a xl90 tv as well. going to try it out tonight and set it up.
Hello what It explains dos nota work for me It returns yo its resolution automatically what can l do?
Perfect video! Used this to record my first CZcams video and managed to get stable 80fps, think I need a new gpu 1080ti is a tad old now 😆
It’s not going to triples changing the json configuration, has things changed?
Thank you so much for sharing. Never thought dlss performance would look so good, I've already tried it too before but never added so much dlss sharpening. Had to set some details from epic to high with my 3080, but for now I'm very happy - and waiting for the 4090 to be released 🙈
@MaxJacuzzi can I get your 3080 than? I'm still on a GTX 1080 here... :/
@@UniQue1992 😄 a friend of mine also always tells me not to complain running a 3080 😉
Thanks for the tip on the screen resolution setting in the *.json file. I will try that out. 1. Do you set the resolution in the *.jsaon to 3840 x 2160 or to 11520 x 2160 (or whatever the bezel corrected setting is) as it will be set in NVIDIA Surround? 2. What is your horizontal eye level in relation to the center line of the screens? The bottom of the screens looks very low. I have 3 x 55' 4K 120Hz screens and set it as low as the stands allowed me to. Maybe I need to raise my rig a bit. 3. How far are your eyes from the center screen? 3. I assume that you set the angle of the side screens in such a way that your eyes are the same distance to the centers of all three screens. I'm running an AMD 5800X3D paired with a 3090Ti and would like to get the maximum out of it.
Yep use the bezel corrected resolution. Have a watch of this video for the other questions….
czcams.com/video/XpG199_V_Xo/video.html
This will all saved in the .json file? If yes: Can somebody share a setup for the RX 580 8GB?
dlss setting is greyed out for me , been using it for different games so i dont know why its not letting me use it
Great vid guys, can u do a similar iracing vid soon
I am having 60 fps with a 3080 on 3x 1920x1080 setup, what am I doing wrong? :D (in multiplayer races)
Maybe the 4090Ti allows to run everything maxed out at 3x4K144Hz! Does ACC support SLI?
Really informative, thanks. Especially for me as the shockingly bad state GT7 is in atm is causing me to spend more time on my PC titles for good multiplayer racing.
Would love to see what you do in Adobe. Both my Dad and I are self taught (yay CZcams tutorials) but I always enjoy seeing how other creator's, particularly high quality ones like yourself go about things.
Great job as usual mate!
Hi Will, for the triple screen settings do you use the exact distance between the monitor and your eyes, or have you adapted to your comfort? I am using a 3080 with triple 1080, Acc at the graphic level on full hd is not the best, especially when you see the cars from a distance, despite the auto lod at 100% after a few meters they lose quality
I run it with the actual measurements.
@@boostedmedia thanks Will, if you like, watch my two immersive videos, right now I don't have much time to make others. hope to resume soon
Great content and advice. I'll have to keep this in mind
Will this settings work with the 3060 TI?
Ooohhh Mann this kinda excited me without mods hopefully I just finished CM csp pure .205 install and it looks unreal good the best looking racing game on earth peter and iljia know what they are doing
i hope they fix the resolution option for triple 4k currently it's such a pita
Looking for same video for iRacing on 3080 on triple G5 1440p !
Try contrast 0.80 and exposure on 0.25 , with 90 saturation it looks more real for me.
Sry but i did everything but the game looks ok in the cockpit but the quality of the mirrors and the distance the game look like i played with an old graphics card
I run a 4090 and my monitor is a wqhd 144 hertz
Do i need a 4k monitor or are there other settings on the pc to change
I have no issues getting it to run in 4k between 90- 120 hz it does well on my rig it's not as nice as yours but I does the job just fine
Thank you very much!
Thanks Will!
Hi Will. I tried these exact settings and was getting ghosting where I previously had none. Any ideas which setting may be causing that? Seemed to mainly occur when driving up the hill towards the corkscrew at Laguna Seca on the car in front of me.
What is your monitor model?
Have you turned ‘On’ Overdrive or changed Response Time levels in the monitor settings?
Play with motion blur maybe?
How do i access the video settings?!
So im having pretty rough ghosting in acc. You have any tips to get rid of that? Im on triple 1440s and would be happy to keep dlss working fps wise
yea me too. no fix yet.
dude i tried this and completely killed my pc. It made the game become 75% smaller and moved all the way ti the top left of the screen. not sure what to do in order to fix it without re installing the game. I am running an AMD Ryzen 5 with a 6600 Trx using 42-inch tv for monitor refresh rate of the monitor is around 60 hertz. I was running it fairly. I could be better, and I changed from 1080 to 1444. and ran fine still a little cartoony do u have any suggestions.?
Great video, but your DLSS explanation is incorrect. The DLSS sharpness has nothing to do with the resolution it renders at. The sharpness is simply a post processing effect if you find the upscaled image is too soft.
You should start streaming on Twitch. A bit of live performance and racing would be big fun i think :) Keep going on with your content. Its awesome.
Don’t have time I’m afraid.
Hello, if you play with curved monitor, like the new ultra Gear tested by boost media, it will be more complex.
The images will be stretched to the sides, so use projection correction at a value of 1.This will blur your image in the center, to remedy this it will be necessary to desactivate the DLSS and increase the resolution to 120%.
It cost FPS but The image will finally appear realistic and correct
Tx a lot for this info, really appreciate it i myself have a samsung 49 G9 Neo and now this fixes my problem and looks good. Would you share you re graphic settings if you dont mind? Cheers
@@jesuschristislord3519 I'm running the 49 G9. I've found a good middle ground is using FSR on Ultra. Temporal with Ultra settings was 70fps. DLSS at 170fps. FSR about 120fps. DLSS looks shite in my opinion..But FSR Ultra was near close to Temporal. Don't know your specs...But worth a try if you struggle for frames.
Epic Video explanation, but one thing was missing, the triple settings and FOV, those are the main config to look awesome to just play along or record videos, lets do this one too and if possible a good close view at the bezelfree tweaks
Not really the subject of this video. Might do a seperate video about it but I just use the measurements. I talked about screen placement in my rig tour video recently.
@@boostedmedia for sure i saw it, actually i started to do videos like yours as well and of course im not trying to live of making videos, but i build a triple 50 inch full motion rig, using the best i could find here in brazil, and for me, the FOV part was the worst to get it done, and as you can see going to my channel is that im far away from the quality that you put in play here, bur just for fun im doing. I used a lot of yours tips
And tricks by carefully going to all of your videos, im a very thankfully of what you have done.
Awesome, keep pushing my friend!
Wasn't the world wide consensus always to set the FPS Limit 3 FPS below your screens resolution ?
Because setting it at the exact limit of the screen can lead to small hickups when it goes 0.1 or 0.2 over because the synchonization isn't within the limits anymore and even GSYNC/FreeSync need to react to that whilst they usually would just work the lower end FPS to be smooth. Thats at least what almost everyone says, so I am just curious if this has changed or what other reason is there you keep it at the exact Screen-Frequenzy?
I’ve never found that to make a difference in any of my systems. But it makes sense. This is just the settings I’ve found to work well.
Is there a way to use twin monitors? I can live with the join of the two monitors being in the middle of the game.
I will answer my own question. Using the NVidia tool mentioned elsewhere in these comments, I created a double width resolution for my left hand monitor, and selected that in ACC. I have started single player practice and it works, but I have not driven a race to see if my gfx card can actually cope, yet! Too late in the day with work tomorrow.
was wondering if you are running some mods that it looks so good cause I have it maxxed it and it doesn't look as good as your videos ;o]]]
Hi Will
May I ask if you found a difference setting the graphics up yourself compared to Invidia GeForce Experience recommended settings?
I haven’t tried their recommended settings.
@@boostedmedia Well my recommended GeForce Experience settings put everything up to full tilt. I just adjusted everything to how you have it, I will let you know what difference, if any, there is.
I ended up going the GeForce recommended route (almost everything Epic) with a few changes:
Saturation 90 (like you suggested)
HLod enabled
DLSS sharpness to 62
I find that these settings work for me.
Anyone have tips I'm using a samsung q70r as a monitor I'm new to PC have a 3080 10gb with rysen 5800x and imagine always looks washed out. On my series x it's flawless but I have no clue why this is happening on what I've been told is pretty good hardware tried all your setting and it washed everything out. From what I understand you also need to do Nvidea gpu setup. I'm not even sure if I need to be in game mode or not on the TV. This PC stuff is making my brain melt lol.
for dlss
performance give u best fps
for quality u get best image
majority of the pc community uses quality for the better image
In notepad++ using CTRL+G will allow you to GOTO a line number. Save scrolling.
Are you playing in 1080p or higher ?
I tried editing the json file with ACC closed, but when I open the game to look for the 5760x1080 res seems the game overwrites the entry I just made, back to the 1920x1080 that my monitor is set at. Any suggestion?
I get this issue too. Did you ever resolve it?
@@dibley1973 I did not, was hoping @Boosted Media would see it or someone else here and have an idea.
Not sure on that one Im afraid. Haven’t had that problem. Maybe file permissions related?
Good video but same issue here, I have 3 monitors in native res 2560x1440 but every time I set the menuSettings.json with 7680x1440, ACC just ignores it and starts on a single monitor 2560x1440. I guess I'll have to go back to "Simple Runtime Windows Editor" (SRWE) tool, which is very annoying, how come a sim like this not work with 3 monitors natively??!?
@@nunoalexandre4273 If you have an NVidia card you can use the NVide tool to create a custom resolution of 7680x1440 for your LEFT-MOST monitor. You can then select that resolution in ACC.
Nice Video. But where can I hide the steering wheel / arms in ACC? Thx
Pause, view settings, go across and you’ll see hide wheel/arms/both 👍

i9 and 3090 here. I tried the .json several times to no avail: the 11520x2160 desktop resolution doesn't appear in game. Same issue with other unreal engine games like Train Sim World 2 or GTA Trilogy. In all of them I can play with custom resolutions but not my desktop resolution.

Yesssssss! I've been dying to know. I'm running a rtx3080 on a triple 1080 LG Ultragear set-up. Never understood why I couldn't make it look even close to yours.
THANK YOU
You can run without full screen for triples, set to disabled and use 'Windowed Borderless Gaming' tool, set the resolutions in there, with negative 1 screen offset for left most side and it will capture the exe once the game is running. Then no issues switching out to other screens\windows or messing with json config file. And no need for nvidia surround.
Also - if you want fullscreen, set up all these settings first and then lastly go into the .json file, edit your resolution, and then set the file as Read-only. The game will then not be able to change the config.
Hey boosted! Did you ever had problems with Fatal crash? Im getting all time and still no fix :(
Not for a long time now. Used to be an issue in the early builds for me.
Tweaking color is so huge noticed it first in this game and gt7 you can white out stuff to make it look more real and honest this stuff has bigger effect than settings even low res I use 720p projector/ or 720 aproc crt
I’ve a 3090ti and i9 etc etc. next stage is the correct size monitor setup and rig, I’m torn atm regarding screens
Bigger you go the bigger the performance hit, personally I'd go triple 34's minimum.
I've got 27's which are great but should of got 34s
@@tomventers yea I’m thinking that size with 165 or 144hz. Bigger screens also more black zones
@@tomventers the higher the resolution the bigger the performance hit*

Great video .. one query .. why didn't you go for 65" Oled's rather than 65" monitors ?
Less Input lag, No gsync and higher refresh rate.
@@boostedmedia True, but those would be imperceptible differences esp. for sim racing whereas picture quality difference would be quite stark. Your setup itself looks beautiful and with stellar picture quality of an Oled it would be mind blowing. Maybe next upgrade 😊👍🏻
I’m surprised you use DLSS on performance. I’ve got a 3070ti and did the same; albeit on triple 1440p with most settings high. The image isn’t bad by any means but distant vehicles are just colour blurs and the rev count numbers are seemingly a laggy mess with even the rev limit lights sometimes seeming a bit blurry! Any tips I can use for a 3070ti and i5 12600k for triple screen 1440p? (What fps should I be expecting for this)? Thanks guys 🏎
You can increase the sharpness of DLSS or select a higher preset like Balanced. I personally wouldn't go below Quality on 1440p main monitor. Lower your mirror refresh rate & distance. I find 30FPS is fine as I only glance at it rather than stare. Also lower the volumetric fog quality as it's extremely hard to notice & somewhat heavy on performance. I also recommend setting car LOD to 90/80 for that small FPS bump on race starts. Don't set shadow quality to Epic, it's a performance hog especially at higher resolutions for some reason.
Much higher quality replays after following the advice in this video, thank you! Is there any in-game FPS monitor please?
Nvidia Geforce Experience has an inbuilt monitor you can bring up. Otherwise there’s a few third party options like FRAPS
@@boostedmedia You can use Steam as well, and some monitors have that function too.
@@brulaapgaapmeester8052 thanks using GeForce fps mon now.
ACC does have a built FPS counter but it isn't very clean. \Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Config\hud.json , change ("fPSVisible": 0,) to ("fPSVisible": 1,).
@@i2nupmanThank you sir! I am using GeForce FPS and it tells me everything is at 120FPS even after i set everything to EPIC, so i guess, not need to look at FPS display anymore haha. I am using 3080 and single LG C10 TV as a monitor. I guess triple screen and VR are much more demanding in GPU.
