I have been doing burpees 5 days a week for 6 months now. The variation I do includes a push-up and a jump. Now I have started out with 25 and gradually moved up to 100. I have also increased the number of push ups to 600. So each burpees I do 6 push ups. I was just told by some one that I shouldn't do so many pushups and that its not healthy. I feel good and definitely stronger. Is there something in doing too many pushups a day?

Define "real" because this just looks like cardio to me...When you're strong from lifting actual weights, these kind of workouts become pretty easy tbh. A real workout to me would be squatting 2x bodyweight for 3 sets of 5. Remember guys, strength builds endurance but endurance doesn't build strength. Happy lifting! 💪😁
