Thats the thing they do see how we really are they see through our low self esteem/self confidence and see we really are good people with big hearts that like to help people. but we dont give ourselves any credit. We tell ourselves were not good enough, if they only knew, im a piece of shit, poor me etc...Im sure mike has low self esteeem, and low self confidence, no self worth which is hard to imagine cause hes lived an awesome life for the most part why would he feel that way but it doesnt discriminate were human and we have emotions that will make u feel that way. combine that with this shitty world we live in where everyone compares everyone to one another and there you go.

Thanks for making me realise, we all seem to forget how mentally and physically uplifting the simple things can be. He is an example of a human being who was greatly disturbed and super dysfunctional who did shameful things in the past, but decided to dig deep and make a change. That just doesn't happen every day. I experienced this like a story between two mobsters who tells about their life in a chronological order where addiction and ganglife is prio while making a carreer is in the background to fill in for their ganglife.
While the co-host is the neutral listener, just like us, and asking questions about the story when he finds something interesting. It was like watching a movie unfold in your head and observing a beautiful story, which turns out to be their self biografies.
    It was Tremendous.
    Thank you for this episode!

"Bringing that real shit" you're either black. .. Or worse... You're a jumped up little white kid talking like you're black... I think it's the latter.. And I find you shameful.

@@wessley4606 And you. Your real book smart, your quick to categorize people. But "street" smart, not so much.
Try acquiring some of these skills on both sides of the fence, so to speak, before u start feeling shameful and losing sleep over it 🤣👍.

Joey Diaz and Mike Tyson had a great interview. Two guys that can reminisce on New York City back in the 70's and 80's. Together those guys are so honest, blunt, real and grateful. Joey is hilarious. This is one of my favorite HOTBOXIN' episodes.

I agree dawg. This podcast is definitely in my top 3 of Hotboxin podcasts. It's so good I had to watch it again. Joey is just too funny and has stories for days.
