love the fact that he decided to shoot the window to break it. like what were they gonna do? he looked dead. the first thing they should do is call it in so investigators can take over. instead he tries to shoot the window open which would contaminate the crime scene and potentially lead to the body getting a random bullet hole in it.
Not even. A slim jim would work. Not the meat snack. A piece of metal that can be slid down between the window and seal. Slide it back to the door handle and pick up. It should easily pop open. Even with electronic locks. As the handle still needs a cable to pop the door.
Flubber lol. My auto correct wouldn’t even let me write that word. I am curious to count how many people know what flubber is and who has seen the original movie.
Depends if the calibre of the round doesn't impart enough energy to break it properly and COULD result in a random direction ricochet. Still... The way it's depicted here is comical
That's exactly what I was thinking, they cut to drill and I was like okay that's a bit extreme but whatever, now they'll just unlock it with a hook... Then. oh, okay. That's one way to do it I guess...
Ok but whose hand was gonna fit through that little hole?? Nobody is gonna risk slicing their wrist when they can just shatter the glass but I guess logic is hard 🥴
They would’ve 100% jimmied the door. Even the stunt of them ripping it off it’s hinges would have been too much contamination of the crime scene and would have been their last choice. Also, that is not how bullet proof windows work, they are like 10 layers thick and with a direct shot like that would have shattered the fist few layers and caught the slug.
In case anyone (Everyone) missed it the Stainless Steel 1911 is reference to The Singer Gun, of which there are 501 made. It is the Holy Grail of gun collecting.
Ahh yes, drill a hole on the glass and pull the door off, instead of using one of the multiple tools you have to specifically open doors, hell the main use of the jaws of life IS CAR DOORS
Not only is the window armored, but the doors are as well. When you pay $300,000 for an armored SUV, they make it so enemy combatants can not enter no matter what. The doors used to be filled with concrete for armor, so good luck with a prybar. You’ll have better luck opening a late 1800s cannonball safe with a prybar.

I can tell you there is no such thing as bombproof car especially for a car like that. I can't remember where and when it happened but some big shot got killed by an IED with a copper shape charge. It's a copper plate and when detonated it becomes a fast projectile cone and whatever it hits, will be destroyed completely. It's such a low cost effort to do the maximum amount of damage. It was quite impressive as it was a hardened car with bullet proof windows. Changed how escort transport routes are done today.
It does exist though, For example the presidents limo is bomb proof. All those SUVs you see the VP, and the presidents family use are built to the same standard from scratch

Now imagine that the only fault that this vehicle has is that the exhaust is leaking into the inside of the car, the vehicle was left to idle while the guy passed away from the lack of oxygen and then a few hours of idling the engine died as the fuel ran out. Bullets don't bounce when they hit bullet"proof" glass... They impact and shatter the first glass layer around the impact area.
