My favorite part is when he says: "imma go tell daddy what I said right now"
😆
*now*
I was cracking up when he said that!! 🤣🤣🤣
the story about the cops....an autistic adult was tasered recently....quite sad cause he too was flailing his arms and acting eratically. glad they had patience with your son, mom
😂😂😂😂
"When Dustin asks questions how do you hope others respond?" "Cuss"
I died lol 🤣
lmao
@@lalalostyou6858 he knew how awesome it was hahahaha :) we all get proud of ourselves for saying funny things and we want to see others enjoying it too. He just reacted on it instead of staying silent like someone else would have done if their dad wasnt in the room to hear it.
Staying silent because they believe their joke isnt funny enough or worthy enough to go share it. People could learn from him :)
And then he said “I’m gonna go tell my daddy what I just said right now!” 😂😂
@@lillymurray8408 Lmao I died, what a personnality this guy has, it must be tiring for the parents tho
He’s definitely showing off😂❤️❤️ such a sweet young man!!!!
The ‘which answer would you like’ way he communicates with him is low key brilliant. In my experience people with autism can get very upset if you don’t respond they way they expect and that’s a wonderful way to make him happy.
came here to say this! it's heartwarming to watch, chris is such a great dude
Chris is so awesome.
He truly has a gift for communicating with these amazing people 🥹❤️
it also makes Dustin think on his own which is great for someone with a disability
I think it's only autistic people on the "lower functioning" level for lack of better terms
Chris: “why do you like dinosaurs”
Dustin: “because they eat people” 😂😂
Another quote from this is
Dustin: “Chris, I love you hunny”
I love him 💓
He is so sweet! Love this
he's got a girlfriend
Hi is amazing
@@krystalharwood6359 lol not the tarded guy

Chris do you love me?

Chris can I get a hug from you?
Chris, I love you man.
Chris I love you honey😄
I got to know Dustin and his mom when I worked at a small pharmacy who they did business. I sometimes would go out to the car and speak to him. Once Dustin knew your name he never forgets it. He is a true blessing to anyone who meets him!!!

@I LOVE BEGALS shut up
Lucky you for knowing this man. He seems like a real nice man.
2:24 I love how Chris was contemplating on the answer here lol, it's so silly but he was trying to be mature or make sure he doesn't spook him. That's really sweet of you.
This makes my heart melt.
are you alive ?
You ok did you have to get a heart transplant?
Why ? This is a perfect person I love him
@Phoenix i know right
R.I.P, heart melting syndrome sucks
Hes so happy! Its amazing. Honestly his parents seem very exhausted but they obviously love him
Yea they seem mentally drained but i think they were the perfect parents for him
He probably knew about the interview and was psyched for a while probably took a toll on them a bit.
Well I do understand them. It is exhausting living with a disabled adult child. That’s why so many people choose to avoid having children with disabilities.
It can be very exhausting caring for someone that is like a two-year-old but adult-size.
Kinda funny but I thought your username said Jesus Christ.
6:33 “I love you Dinosaur” is my favorite part of the interview 🦖🦕

I have a a brother with autism to! He also has ALOT of bad bad tantrums!
Dustin’s personality is contagious, what a sweetheart 🧡
These segments on autism really touch my heart. I am a mother of four, three of them have autism. Some days it gets really hard. To see all the positivness radiating through these families gives me hope.💚
If three out of four bave autism then you should check your raising skills
@@francomilazzo8277 Autism is literally a genetic disorder, has absolutely nothing to do with how you were raised. If three out of four have autism I think she is a very strong, hardworking snd good mother. Your comment was very misinformed and unnessecary.

Rachel you go girl! You sound like an awesome loving mom❤
@@lnbni Some of it is nutritional or environmental contamination or both. As in the parent had some nutritional deficiency while baby was in the womb or exposed to contaminants or even the father had some nutritional deficiency or exposure to contaminants, which can cause the genetic disorder.
I am sorry... I can't even-- Dustin is so freaking precious.
5:27 When chris asked "Are we friends now?" Dustin said "Oh yeah" 😆 loved that ❤
Hes so full of life. These parents have so much strength. I cant imagine how difficult it gets at times. Especially the parents that have to take care of their kids for the rest of their life. My preacher has a kid that has autism more severe then dustin and he is 37 now and they are still taking full time care of him. These parents are some of the most strongest and amazing on earth.
Bless his dads heart. You can tell he’s tired but he keeps pushing through for his son
Love how Chris asks him if he wants the answer to be yes or no for the stuff about lightning and trees, that’s very considerate :) I hope Dustin won’t be in danger from the police, like the mom said around 7:40
ALSO: I literally watched Jurassic park tonight with my family, what a coincidence :0 I love dinosaurs too!
I love it when he asked what his pyjamas were doing 😂

He's seriously so sweet. I don't know, i love him already.
I love how he addresses Chris with his name before each question. It's very sweet ❤
Its so hard to find the right words to discribe how wonderful this is.
I personally think the opposite, for me it is so, so depressing. There is nothing sadder than mental illness.

My whole family is in love with this family. I personally have watched this interview probably 7 times. 😆 Dustin is A COMPLETE JOY. My absolute favorite person on Earth!! And his parents are just my favorite too!!! You can see what a special bond they all have. And the sense of humor in this family is not lost on us! Please update us if you ever can, Chris!
I've watched it more than 15 times
Spend hours try to find his parents page on Facebook just so that I can see more videos of him.
He's so adorable. I love him so much
I like how attentive Chris is when talking to Dustin. He is following his eyes back and forth and he puts accentuation on certain words and expressions. Great job being a friend and teacher! Warms my heart to see Dustin talking and interacting so. My son is 6 and doesn't talk much but it gives me hope that one day he will be as happy and interactive as Dustin!
I love that the parents don't continuously tell him to calm down or stop when they are talking and he's talking. They just let him try but keep the conversation going and you can see him over time realize that people are talking to each other so I should sit up and listen right now. He's a smart nice guy with great parents.
Bruh that was hella Realeable when Chris asked Dustin why he liked dinosaurs and his answer was "because they eat peopple" .
That was awesome! I love dinos too!
My oldest is on the Autism spectrum. It changed me in so many ways. 🤗🙏🙏🤗 to Mother-Father for how they’ve handled parenting.

OMG I fell out looking at his mom's face when he said the police pulled him and his dad over.

When he asked for a hug was the most amazing thing, my daughter has autism, it took a very long time, and countless hours of ABA, before she became comfortable enough with touch sensations to be able to give us hugs. That part really struck a chord.
That reminds me of what my friend told me about his autistic kids. "They never hug my friends, but they always hug you."
I love hugging people if I can
I'm so happy you show the world how beautiful people with disabilities are. I get a better understanding from your channel. You do amazing work.
What a sweetheart. I have autism myself, and I love making friends with other people with autism. Such sweet and compassion individuals
Chris, never stop doing this, you a blessing to these people😇
I’ve had a few friends with autism and they were all very very friendly. It’s a shame some people bully others just because there different. We are all unique and we should embrace it as it comes.
One of my best friends has autism.
I've been friends with autistic people my whole life since 4th grade, I've been bullied by neurotypicals for almost the whole time I was in school,
It was so strange but warming to me that I was more accepted with them and rather than those who are normal,
They are the kindest people ever and I feel so happy to share a big chunk of my life with them
Yes I see the joy and love from him!!
What a lovely young man Dustin is, I love his sense of humor!💛💐
It's not sense of humor his just autistic but his quite adorable

❤️Dustin❤️ I just love him. As a caregiver, who works with Autism daily, Dustin is a beautiful soul!
Hes so perfectttt!!! His smile is beautiful, and him saying daddy i love you a couple times off camera was the cutest thing ever!! Hes so pure i love him!
Chris you have taught me humility, compassion and just to say "hi, how are you?". Thank you for changing my attitude towards people in general....I would live to meet and be friends with every person you have interviewed!
Honestly, same. I'm neurodivergent myself and I've been able to pretty effectively mask it most of my life. It's been a double-edged sword, and while I'm sad to say it, I spent a long time looking down on other neurodivergent folks who couldn't or just didn't want to mask like I did. I didn't really see any other options for myself or for others than to act "normal," and I was unfriendly when I saw people act in ways that I would criticize myself for.
This channel has provided an incredible template for what being a loving and caring person to everyone should look like. I appreciate Chris' kindness and the simple rule by which he summarizes it: everyone has value, and that value is the same no matter who it is. It's helped me to better to other people, and also to myself.
What a great interview! Lots of joy in that young man.
Autism is not easy, mainly because regular people don’t understand and can’t cope with someone who doesn’t act “normal” but autistic people can be the best…I’m glad Dustin has a amazing loving family
I love how each of your interviews allows people to have a chance to see individuals with varying situations and how life is for them and their families. God bless you for your work.
