Not really. Like people without autism, everyone with autism is different and can be hard to understand, but some people just click right away and that is so special.

As an Autistic person whose few friends are not autistic, it's hard to relate to them or feel 100% calm
and even when I do manage to "let my gaurd down", it seems to give off some sort of impression that results in my friends being overportective or talking down to me or behaving more like a caretaker than a friend
Inter-abled relationships of any kind are tough
but seeing Gabe and Ariel's wonderful friendship gives me hope that one day I find a friend who's like me and makes me feel as happy and safe as those two seemed!
