When was the last time you watched Avengers Age of Ultron (2015)? The second chapter in Marvel’s Avengers stories was received with mixed reviews from fans and critics, but what did you think? There are so many hidden references to future MCU movies, Phase 2 and 3! We find our main Marvel heroes (Iron Man/Tony Stark, Captain America/Steve Rogers, Hulk/Bruce Banner, Black Widow/Natasha Romanov, Thor/Odinson, and Hawkeye/Clint Barton) taking down Baron Von Strucker and Hydra in Sokovia, but they’re thwarted by two enhanced people/mutants, Quicksilver/Pietro Maximoff and Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff.
Tony stumbles upon Loki’s scepter from Avengers 1, and together with Bruce Banner they accidentally create Ultron. Ultron decides to take on the Avengers, team up with the twins, and try to end the world. We meet Ulysses Klaue (who we will see again in Black Panther) and the first introduction of Wakanda, while also getting a Hulk VS Hulkbuster fight!
We’re introduced to Hawkeye’s family on the farm as well as plant seeds for Thor Ragnarok, Captain America Civil War, and other future Marvel films. While we do lose Quicksilver in the fight against Ultron, we do get Vision’s debut in the MCU. Will the Avengers be able to stop Ultron from killing the world? Yes, they can. Cause we’ve all probably seen this movie. But there are still plenty of awesome easter eggs that will blow your mind on the rewatch. See if I missed any and let me know which one’s were your favorite. Let me know down below or on twitter @sambashor!

Really, anyone who thinks that the farmhouse scene with Hawkeye's family is the worst part of the movie is completely mistaken and really knows nothing about storytelling. It's easily the best story mechanic part of the entire movie, and this one scene arguably instigates the entirety of Civil War. It also does some extremly important things for a lot of characters by showing a more grounded side of Hawkeye, showing the others that they're all just people, with emotions and families, etc etc.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say, is that it really is the best and most compelling part of the entire movie and anyone who is a true storyteller would understand that that scene really is the best part of the movie.
And Cap rips a log apart.
This should get more likes
This movie is underrated, recently rewatched it and it's action packed and I found Ultron super entertaining.
I think it's honestly on par with Avengers 1
$1.4B “underrated” k
Ultron has to be my favorite marvel villain
isaak h This was my first MCU movie. I remember I first watched it March 2017, and now I really want to rewatch it.
YES!
Chris Evans was born to play cap
Human Torch on the other hand...
ZackAttack 😂😂😂
ZackAttack What? He wasn’t bad, he was actually pretty good.
Unpopular opinion:
Hawkeye’s Family/farm scene is some of the best stuff in the movie.
I also love Bruce/Nat.
Dragownage true
I'm liking this just cuz your profile picture and username
I got to 're-watch all the movies last Christmas. The Thanos post credit scene actually make a lot more sense after the events of Guardians of the Galaxy. So, Loki was supposed to deliver the Tessaract, but failed, losing the Scepter in the process. Than, Thanos expects Ronan to deliver the Orb after Gamora betrayed him. Ronan changed his mind, and kept the Orb for himself. I imagined that all these betrayals made him mad, and put on the glove, and says " Fine, I'll do it myself"
Nice catch
Then* not "than"
Ernest Tzompa nice catch
duh who didn't get that
Ernest Tzompa English is my second language, I'm Romanian.
I love vision's "I was born yesterday " joke
There’s also a reference to Quicksilver 2 hours 7 minutes and 30 seconds into the movie. Widow is watching the video of Hawkeye’s son who is named Nathaniel Pietro Barton as in Pietro Maximoff.
It may just be me but Hawkeye is definitely an underrated character sure he is underpowered but I love him all the same
Yeah I get you there
If I remmember jarvis appeared in agent Carter and he was the butler of Howard stark
And he makes a comeback in Endgame. I didn't know the real Jarvis is already on screen way before Endgame.
The vibranium versions of Ultron were only going to be Vision and Ultron Prime. They alone would have survived the apocalypse. The drones were always expendable to him.
People are always trying to find reasons to hate this awesome movie. ☹
Miles Bosworth it was a huge letdown considering ultrons one of my favorite comic villains.
Am I the only one who actually liked this movie
B.K.A. Pokemon I enjoyed it, Ultron was funny to watch and the whole multiple boys was fun too
no i did too
Lol a bunch of little kids
B.K.A. Pokemon no I love it
B.K.A. Pokemon no, it wasn't the best, but it was still good. A little misleading though
I dont care what yall say, I love this movie
This movie is underrated
That's so true
$1.4B “underrated” K
Your Mama Just because it made a lot of money doesn’t mean it can’t be underrated by Marvel fans.
Personally, I loved the farm sequence. In my opinion not everything needs to be flashes and bangs, these scenes gave some of the characters some nice character development. Made them more human and less cardboard cut-outs.
*Looks like Ultron didn't have "The Stones" to defeat the Avengers*
_Well maybe just The Mind Stone lol_
His intention with the mind stone was to create an indestructible being but ofc Stark messed his plan up and instead created Vision which was the complete opposite of Ultron.
Shione Cooper iii
Cute
But Thanks did😂😂
Did anyone else notice that during Thors vision and during his bath in the pool, he had lightning shooting off of him. I never saw it before, but maybe that is his powers inside him?
He has lightning in his vision too. Thor Ragnorak foreshadow
Teral Pop have u not seen Thor ragnarok?? 😂
I meant that they referenced his powers that we learn about in Ragnarok. I have not been living under a rock lol. I just rewatched this movie myself and I noticed it. :)
He is the god of thunder. Duh!
The reference in that was the wolf, ram, and hart on the statue things.
Now this does put a smile on my face
Jack3d4Life Dat reference
Jack3d4Life
I know that reference
Jack3d4Life thanos
I heard this
Failingpepper 11 it’s a Thanos reference
I wish quicksilver stayed alive. Every superhero universe needs their own speedster
Maybe Marvel and FOX argued that of who will keep Quicksilver
@@Katy-sr9ts yeah that is what happened
Disappointed that the interface chip labeled "Tadashi" wasn't pointed out but maybe I like Big Hero 6 too much lol
I came all this way to search for that reference but now I'm happy I'm not the only one who noticed it
just rewatched this again today and felt like i was missing a lot of references lol glad i saw this! and ur great, sam; i always enjoy ur vids
Ultron is one of my favorite villains in the mcu idk why people don't like him
ZackAttack I think people didn't like him because he was more comedic than his comic counterpart although I really didn't mind that
ZackAttack because ultron is very arrogant and and he think he is better than anyone else well unfortunately we don’t need him because thanos is way better than ultron
Amazing video!!!
I LOVE these MCU breakdowns.
There’s a corresponding reference to the ‘27 Yankees in Agents of SHIELD, I believe. Rosalind Price has a signed bat from the team that Coulson picks up.
I really hope Ultron comes back in some form...
r jones he won't......villains never come back in the MCU when they're killed
Ultron always comes back. He always has a backup stashed somewhere safe in case he gets defeated. It may be in the future once they integrate their newly gained properties and then t hey can have him make a body of Adamantium.
Ultron is a Virus so he can't die. If they do allow him to return they should name it after the sequel to Age of Ultron called Rage of Ultron. Make it happen!
BmoreBirds Nest Red Skull made a comeback
Ultron will comeback in avengers 5 i think and called Avengers:Ultron revolution, Avengers:Return of ultron or Avengers: Rage of Ultron
I wonder if The Vision dreams of Electric Sheep
AWESOME LEGOSTUF ecksdee
I get it
I understood that reference.
@@montegobey83 .... You just created a reference inception. I wish more got to witness what happened here. It...was...beautiful.
Unpopular opinion:
Ultron is one of the best mcu villans
CGCentral HD he was alright
definitely had the potential to be the best, but to me they really didn't fulfill it
He sure was an amazing villain
He's better than most
CGCentral HD agreed, if the movie he was in was better everyone would agree
Loving these 👌
I enjoy watching this film a lot more than some of the more vaunted MCU movies. Not naming names. Obviously its subjective. I think its lit.
I think it's better than Avengers 1. Shame me, Internet nerds!
The credits of this movie are a MASTERPIECE
I love this Channel 3000
This puts a smile on my face.
Roy Thomas Players.
Yes, he created the origin of Vision and Ultron, but he's also the creator of the Invaders (a retcon'd version of the All Winners Squad)
Keep up the Ace Ventura look Sam. Always classic!
Fun isn't something one considers when going over the mcu,but this does put a smile on my face...
Not liking the farm sequence? Okay I'm out then...
Loving it
The reason why Stan was a W2 vet because in captain America he was a W2 soldier!
Can’t wait for the ready player one review
the ultron betas weren't supposed to survive the extinction, they don't matter, as long as ultron prime survived more could be built. that's why he didn't use the vibranium to build an army, just one super-powerful body.
There's a deep cut reference that Tony Stark makes to Fury in the Bartons' barn. At 1:10:00 He puns that "it's been a long day, like Eugene O'Neill long." Obviously a reference to the O'Neill play "Long Day's Journey into Night" about a family wrestling with a mother's addiction (Stark's history wrestling with substance abuse). But in the 1962 film version of "Long Day's Journey into Night" there's an important scene between father and son about the son's mistakes that takes place in a barn/garage.
The Lord Tachanka cannot die.
Ivan Ringle his lmg is divine
Killerninja TIME TO GET SERIOUS!
When you go back 2 years and there’s no Erik Voss.
Yes, I’m from the future.
I loved the farm scene!!!😍
Fun isn’t something one considers when rewatching MCU movies
Drew Laughton , but this does put a smile on my face
In some series, Ultron was created by Tony Stark. The first stone on the left looks like the Power Stone but it never came to Earth. Thor was talking about the Time Stone as the fourth when he said that there were four Infinity stones on Earth which is actually colored green
The individual ultron drones were quite easily dispatched true but his " essence" was networked throughout all of them he never got his vibranium upgrade like he planned
Yay more rewatch!!
This movie depicts a possible humanity future where our greed for the perfection of technology leads to AIs taking over the planet, that's why it has a special place in my heart. Let's hope that if and when this day comes we'll also be fortunate enough to have a team of (in any way)enhanced individuals that'll attempt to protect us.
Great video, keep up the good work :D !
Zax Crows yes agreed with everything u said
Zax Crows, artificial intelligence is programmed. who is stupid enough to design one that is made to take over the planet?
There's been quite a lot of movies, shows, books, etc. that shows Earth being taken over by robots with AI. What if it's predictive programming?
There was an angel reference where when Thor has the vision on Asgard there are 3 statue things, one has a wolf, one has a ram, and one has a hart. If you watched angel, the main big bad, wolfram and hart. Wolf ram and hart. Wolfram and hart
This movie is so underrated for it better than the first one and I think ultron is the best villain in the MCU , I wish one of the Ultron body's survived.
Me*^
I didn't like the final fight. Why do all the villains with shooting capabilities go in an infight. Thats so meh.
Ultron also references the possible X-Men cross over over when he tells wanda and pietro. "I wondered how were the only two to survive striker's experiments" striker of course being one of the main characters of the X-Men
Good job vision for making a right choice of which since to join!👍
Glad to see SourceFed back up and running.
Age of Ultron is quite possibly my favorite MCU film and Ultron is definitely my favorite MCU villain.
The first 8 mins is what you are looking for. The rest is some Easter eggs with a whole bunch more theories and wild goose chases at that...
I wacthed for fun!!!
Somebody asked official Marvel producers about the 12 thing and they said it was as a consequence of the fact that it is the highest number with only one syllable.
Actually Quicksilver is 12 minutes older than Scarlet Witch
The " reinstating prima nocta" is a pop culture reference from the movie Braveheart.
Who is here after Endgame and Cap throwing the hammer into the shield combo was just wicked
the Ultron drones more than likely weren't supposed to survive the apocalypse but rather serve as cannon fodder to keep the avengers distracted while Ultron executed his plans, as his body was intended to survive since he was constantly improving it
This movie takes on alot more meaning after learning the name of Avengers 4 was titled End Game
I wish there would be an Ultron dancing 🕺 scene in the end! 😂
3:30 actually Hulk has been able to pick up the hammer, because he gets angrier faster than the hammer gets heavier
Failingpepper 11 it has tho
The hammer is based on worthiness not strength so hulk could never lift it
In the comics, the ability to pick up the hammer is determined upon strength. However, in the MCU, the hammer is determined by worthiness, so unless he is worthy, the Hulk cannot lift it in the MCU. Thor can lift it because he has been deemed worthy, and lost the ability to lift it because he was ousted.
Im gonna save this on my ipad, and watch it on my break!
So much of this makes sense after watching black panther, Thor Ragnarok and the avengers infinity war
theres also what looks like a hint about the six infinity stones on the wall behind black widow and banner at 10:10.. and whats up with the small blue childrens chair?
Actually, Ultron is made out of a vibranium- adamantium alloy that he created based on the qualities of Captain America's original shield. Or that's what I learned from reading the 1st graphic novel of the Heroic Age Avengers
Synthazoid, and he's a revamped Original Human Torch. The INVADERS were Cap, Bucky, The Torch and Toro, Spitfire and Namor.
3:49 "Tachanka, yes the king of Wakanda" Ah, seems our lord has risen to a true position of power
Those robot bodies weren't meant to survive anything because Ultron had already sent a copy to space... Phase 6 Ultron come back???
I REALY WHANT TO SEE THIS and it does not matter that it got spoiled for me
Holy shit that shirt...
Mr. Chief Slapaho wat about it
It's always good to see Shia getting work.
At 5:36 I thought fantastic four was the first team that marvel created
Am I the only one that really loved Ultron?
Like your shirt!
I’ve noticed the cradle holding the infinity gauntlet in avengers of ultron post credit clip and the bed of the elder yashida in the wolverine are the same technology. Could this be a coincidence where some one thought it was cool looking and used it or was/is it something else?
3 years late?
excelsior was also written in GOTG when Rocket points his weapon at Stan Lee, but it's written in Kree Language
if we're talking call backs.............
Clint (to Thor): you know I've seen this before, right?
he says this in the scene were the Avengers try to hold Mjolnier-... Mjounier? Thor's hammer. i can't spell it
a call back to the first Thor, when the god tries to pick up his hammer but can't due to the spell Odin out on it
that's just a little thing, cause Hawkeye was there
Please clear one thing for me..How was ultron able to control sections of road, as if he was some kind of magneto, to distract black widow while the fight sequence during transport of half developed vision?
3:29 uhhh....seriously, you didnt realised what you said, it just happened in endgame.......wow.........things can go really crazy
This is great
Twelve is the largest number with the fewest syllables so that's why the use it a lot.
Did not expect Sam. Feels very SFNerd!
I heard somewhere that 12 is a writer's go-to number as it's the largest monosyllabic number
Pretty cool how Hawkeye was an Olympic athlete. Makes one wonder about all the other Olympic greats and how their talents would translate into comic book identities.
Sam bashor with the best shirts in the business
I took a shot every time he said "moving forward". My funeral is next week.
Nice Shirt! :)
I would like a horror-like Black Widow movie. I know I'm weird, I get it
Sam has that Ace Ventura vibe going on today 😂😂
What was nick fury talking about in the end of the movie when he is talking to Black widow, he said something about the bottom of the ocean. Didn't know if that was a hint at Namor.
Lord tachanka at 3:49
8:15 he did say that the nebula was gold like the gauntlet, but did anybody see how it looks like the gauntlet too?
The scene were tony and bruce talks about creating ultron and bruce mention "its cold" or something like and tony replied I've been worse this is a nod to ironman 3 were he crash in the snow area😂
sigh I'm sad to see in everyone of the easter egg videos I watch pinnocio isn't listed I do quote "I don't have strings to hold me down"
