    How fun! I am with you on keeping the drive days short and far between! We loved Montana too - especially western - so beautiful! I can't wait to see your glacier videos! We were sad we had to skip past there to get to a wedding but are excited to see friends and family! Bummer on the mice! You'd think in this day and age we could live without mice being inside! You guys will have to come up with the perfect solution and save us all from the mice!

    Every state has much to offer, but you have to look harder is some states. ND has some really great Lewis & Clark stuff in mid state that would take at leat 2 days, the Teddy R National park either north or south is also worth a visit. instead of Hwy 2, Hwy 200 both through ND and MT is a great road to take.

    Have a great journey, sure glad I get to come along on occasion ! Regarding steel wool for mice........ my pest control man in the farm lands of Illinois suggested using woven copper mesh. ( It did stop them from coming in my business ) He told me that mice have the ability to chew thru steel wool. Safe travels, can't wait to hear bout the testing, and see Flathead, God Bless !

      We think its the engine compartment! They climb the tires and then up through the engine. Walmart only had some steel wool, so we tried to stuff some cracks... but need to use a flashlight at night to find more. We'll try to get some different sprays and do a video on the mouse proofing!

    I like the new addition to the videos where you present,” Fun facts with Christine time”. My Earthly knowledge has been expanded learning about that long stretch of road. : ). Hey, how are tolls and expenses driving a dual rear wheel around the country? Also, are you rotating your tires? Can’t wait til you get to Glacier Pal. XO guys, Uncle Davey.

    • @IreneIronTravels
      @IreneIronTravels  Před 3 lety

      😂😅😆 Yeah, I don't think we are going to win any awards for YT's most educational channel!😆
      We haven't hit any tolls since we were on the east coast early last year. But, they varied sooooo much. They usually charged per axle or length so the dually wasn't a problem, but we did get dinged on it once. A lot were cheap, like a dollar or two, but then the big ones are the bridges into different states/ cities. Philly was like 10 bucks and NYC was like $25!
      We do rotate every 6 months or so for free at Discount Tire's, but only side to side. Because of the Alcoa rims you have to dismount the tires and rims to do a proper rotation. $20 bucks a tire so $120 everytime.... so three years that pays (close) for new tires we'll have to get anyways.....

    • @hidaven
      @hidaven Před 3 lety

      Irene Iron Fitness Ok so its like Firestone if you buy the tires there....Are you going with the Duratracs again or something similar? I like the K02’s but the mileage would really get hit I think. My damn delivery isn’t til April 2021 so I have some time to learn from folks experiences.....Oh and my friend has an exterminating company and said nothing works including lights. He said it’s either a cat or fill your holes with mouse foam. Wait, that didn’t sound right......lol.

    • @IreneIronTravels
      @IreneIronTravels  Před 3 lety

      Yeah, just like Firestone. Discount also does free flat repair for anyone...even if you didn't buy from them! I like the Duratracs... but they re just getting so loud! 24k on them.. good tread left and could prob go 50k. The KO2's don't come in the narrow dually 3500 size of 215/85/r16 so you don't have a lot of AT tire options. I think I will try the new Michelin agilis crossclimates next. Not AT's but have a good grip and will be quieter. I've been debating a tire video on these Duratacs.....
      April 2021😮
      Thanks for your freinds insight. That's what I've been reading from experts! Steel wool seems to be working so far..... Mouse foam😆

      I just got a used DJI Spark from a friend recently and this was pretty much my first time messing around and flying it. I can see why people love these things! I looked at the Mini also and really liked the 30 min fly time instead of 15 min and the step up to 2.7k.
