    Hello, I need urgent help.
    I've filled the gmc registration application and after I paid I realised I mixed up my internship rotation dates, and now I can't edit the forum. Is there anyway to fix this? ( I haven't sent the requested papers yet I only paid )

    Hello, I am interested in pursuing specialty training in the UK through the MRCP pathway. I conducted some research and discovered that there is a foundation training stage before proceeding to core and specialty training. Now, my question is whether I, as an international medical graduate (IMG), need to apply for foundation training before embarking on core and specialty training.
    I have also learned that it is advisable to have at least 2 years of clinical experience working in hospitals before taking the PACES exam. Should I consider taking the PLAB exam to secure non-training jobs that would provide me with clinical exposure? Or would an internship in my own country suffice?
    I apologize for any confusion; I have limited knowledge of the correct procedure (am currently pursuing mbbs in Bangladesh) . Thank you."

    Iam Img presently in uk preparing for plab2.
    I have got an offer for observorship from an Nhs clinic not a hospital.
    Is that ok for boosting my cv or it should be done in a hospital itself.

      In terms of potential to then obtain a job, a hospital would be better, but both can be shown as job experience in your job application.

    Hey there, Can you update us about the 6% pay rise in a video comparing the old vs new payscales from F1- Consultant. Would it apply for IMG's as well?

    • @RoadToUK
      @RoadToUK  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Are you referring to the proposed pay rise that the English government has offered despite ongoing strikes? If so, it is only for those doctors on the 2016 England contract, not consultants and associate specialists. Being an IMG makes no difference.
