You know, I used to be a people person but people ruined that for me.
Its okay bro xD)
Uh what are people?
same
lol
Good I've never been a 'people person'
Then you're not a people person
Im terrified at the thought that i might smell when i go to get a tattoo . I shower , clean fresh clothes , and a bit of perfume (not much ) . Poor artist who have to work next to smelly people
I've been a stinky client before lololol
Iâm cracking up over heređđI would call her the deformed unhappy booby girl đđI have horrible boobs !!They are real unfortunately so I would never never never ever get a tat like that because they are not firm..they were not firm when I was younger so I wouldnât torture a tat artist like that and I wouldnât want to wear the bikinis I do and pple stare at me like I was crazy !!!I also even though Iâm not the moral police donât think that was right to do to you or very classy..I mean I feel for her because she sounds very insecure wanting negative attention and wanting to be something sheâs not đđ.God bless you Electric Linda
Saaame! I sweat super easily, and it makes me SO nervous when I go to get a tattoo. I don't stink when I sweat, like, it's not awful, but you can definitely smell it haha
Make me insecure af... even with deodorant. It's probably hormones or something, who knows. I just dread the day a tattoo artist will complain about my smell xD
I sweat easily too and I try to be as hygienic as possible!!!i even get nervous when I go get a pedicure lol
Remember this, a bad smell is only there until you wash, a bad tattoo is there forever.
"She wanted me to work a Sunday because she was annoyed I couldn't fit her in during the 2 weeks before her vacation." Then perhaps she should have visited a shop months earlier to have the work done for sure before her vacation? I actually HATE when people want to be annoyed at you for not being available because of THEIR poor planning. Drives me straight up the wall.
Not to mention how much of a risk it is to get a tattoo just before a vacation, when you are way more likely to not take good care of it!
@@nooranonel Yeah I was thinking why would you want the upkeep of looking after a healing tattoo during a holiday? I think I'd rather be comfy at home haha(:
The first weeks of having a tattoo it doesn't look that good anyway (swelling, redness, you have to be super careful), so why would someone want to get it right before a vacation? I also hope it was a city vacation, because imagine what lying on the beach or even going into the sea would do to it??
that is easy to solve, people like me that we have no tatoos, we dont know how it works, so what about to print how the proses go, and add the same info on a webpage. till I saw this videos... I had no clue all that involves a well done tatoo.
@@tilly704 It's fine if you've never had any tattoos and don't know the process. A basic online search will outline most of the after care and suggestions for you to follow, but every shop (and every artist) has different times lines and personal rules to follow. It's the same as any service provider- you wouldn't show up at your hair dresser's to ask about a procedure you want that is long and effort/time consuming 2 weeks before you leave on a vacation, find out the stylist you want is completely booked and then be angry at the hair dresser. If it was that important, you would go much sooner before your departure date to make sure you could get an appointment with who you wanted and be allowed the time it would take for a long procedure. Not to mention, as most people in the replies suggested, it's very unwise to get a tattoo before leaving on vacation. The basic care rules that you can find just by googling will tell you this if you are a first time customer. You're more likely to be busy and distracted, not caring for it properly and exposing it to outside environments that could cause infections.
The elephant/lion one would have pissed me tf off
I wouldve told her to leave
Sheâs going to pay for it. No sweat off my back. đ
I would never have her as a client! All the complaining priorâŠ..sorry no tattoo. All booked up
Couldnât the artist who drew the lion and the elephant have charged her for all that time? I would expect to pay my artist if I change my mind. I would never expect that for free!!!
its give and take, if i'm paying a lot for a piece i should be allowed to make a mistake and if u got a connection with an artist it should not have to become a money issue unless the client tried to lower prices or tries to go for cheaper alternatives and then u got a different type of relationship from the start.
at least that what i settled on after hearing different artists talk about it.
best would be if a client is sure and confident from start to finish but there is always that 1%
If you are paying a lot for a piece you should be allowed to make a mistake? What the hell does that mean? #1. If you aren't 100% sure about what you want then you shouldn't get the work done, or commission an artist. #2. If you change your mind at the last minute, after the artist does all the work to draw up your original design, you should 1000% expect to pay for their time spent, for both designs.
But where do you draw that line? Would you also change the tattoo artist extra if they alter their design to your imagination? bc that happens all the time
Some people just have a sense of entitlement. It's rude and obnoxius to change your mind at the last minute and expect the artist to redraw an entreily new design for free. YOU changed your mind after your artist was expecting you to get what you had agreed upon prior. You have time usually to contct them and say "Hey, I was thinking....what about if we change this to this". People think artists work for free out of the goodness of their hearts. This is a business, how they earn a living.
@@zpacer88 I just got a chest plate done of very detailed crecent moon. I'm not going to go into the whole story behind it but it's a work in progress of my take on Yin/Yang. I met with my artist (who is highly in demand, they have quite a waiting list,EVERYBODY wants work from them) six weeks before my appointment for a consultation. I explained what I wanted, where I would like it (full left pec) and left a reference photo for him to use as inspiration and a $100. drawing fee. When I showed up for my apppiotment he was excited and a bit nervous hoping I would like what he had come up with for me which I coudn't have been more pleased with. But you're saying if I showed up after he had taken the time to draw this moon up for me and I said sorry dude, I don't wnat that, I changed my mind and now I want a grim reaper instead" You're saying I should be allowed to do that and not expect to get charged for a new drawing? Sorry my friend, I disagree. MINOR changes to a design are one thing...a compeltely different desing, absoloutely not.
"my worst client is you" got em coach.
wait.
what peeing lady?!
I want to hear about that đ
Yeah what's the story behind that one?!?!!
I donât need sleep I need answers!!!
probably just someone who had to stop the artist to pee every 20 minutes lol
That first one should have never worked with that woman ever again. You HAVE to pay for the time spent drawing it up. Sheâs ridiculous.
i OH HELL NO'd at the chick trying to get a job..the nerve of some people..linda you must have the patience of a saint. đâĄ
sounds like a sociopath, should not have given her the money back. Maybe she just agreed in order to get rid of her.
Apparently not since she is the other artists worse client. Haha
Hearing these makes me paranoid, I know I try not to be a nuisance but sometimes I wonder if I bug my artist too much...lol great video though thanks
I feel bad because i really offended my artist on accident, idk how it happened but we were talking and i mentioned how amazing my first artist was and all these awards he had he looked at me and said "take a look in my booth" and it was wall to wall awards from every style and my jaw hit the floor, i apologized and actually gave him a $100 tip because i felt so bad
Honestly for me, I donât mind if you tell me what you want and how you want it to look like. Itâs different when you start micromanaging the artist or tell them to do it exactly like the picture...especially if it is someone elseâs tattoo!!
TheLonewolf272 that just sounds like a simple mistake.
@@TheLonewolf272 Why would he be offended if you compliment someone else? I mean..you probably wouldn't be sitting there if you didn't think he was an awesome artist as well. :)
@@jonnajosefina exactly :)
I love that guy at the end, "You, you're my worst client" lol!! And "When I get tattooed, don't touch me!" Brilliant.
I would never disrespect nor waste a tattoo artistâs time if I wasnât serious about getting a tattoo. Tattoo artists devote their time to art and perfection! Thanks for sharing and sorry about the naive clients you have
THEY R PAID.
@@SuperLuckao ur point is????
"You...my worst client is you"... lol, that was pretty funny... i like that you and he both admitted you are not good clients, you admitted that in the first vid i saw from you, it was about 20 things not to say, and i love that honesty... personally I'm kinda stone-brick guy, even when ribs and spine are being worked on... I don't sleep much and maybe that's why, but i usually just fall asleep to the white noise and comfy chair, i guess... I had one artist shake me violently awake cause she thought i passsed out, lol... another great vid, thx
lol.,..me too, fell asleep twice while having my chest done..My son was just 6 weeks old and slept in his Daddy's arms in the shop while i was worked on and i breastfed him in the breaks! i LOVE being the bearer of awesome artworks! My tattooist always comments on how well i sit, i just go off into another world.
had my worse client today. This day was tough. i almost cried, she said sheâs not happy with he result after almost 3 months and after posting it on IG almost every day.
i just couldnât understand what took her so long to tell me.
Well, i gave back her money, and hoping not to see her again. because i donât need no drama in my head full of art.
âNot the peeing lady?â lollll
"She measured it with a level."
Love, are you a house? Are you hanging a painting? When do you ever, _ever_ stand level to begin with?
I can honestly say the lady who had that moment with Linda she knew how to play her role to get her money back she should never walk back in their shop. That was just Rude and Nasty . Linda u guys are awesome and I admire your work and how you each take pride in ur work and how you are honest and blunt with ur clients! You guys Rock. Luv yall
I should never gave her the money back.. why.. You've worked hard for it!! That's definitely not fair.. đ
Whyyyy did you give her money back, that's insane
Because her being a loudmouth online could potentially hurt her business more than her tattoo is worth
Maybe half of it because it was her fault to say that she liked how Linda placed the stencil.
Because sometimes it's just cheaper to let the client win and leave you alone. In my business, I just give people a refund if they ask. Once people get a refund, they run out of steam and they don't post a bunch of shit about you online.
that's how aggressive people win at life/ world :// She shouldn't get it back, some peoÄlle would even sue her for giving them a bad name on social media.
Can you do a time lapse of a cover up tattoo video please? Love the content you put out always
I want to see this too!
A tattoo artist dies and goes to heaven,st.peter is waiting at the gate and asks what did you do in your life.the artist answers;I was a tattoo artist for 25 years.st.peter says go right through you had your share of hell!

She's the kind of boss i want to have in the future. She seems so respectful. Not like my old boss who was yelling at me and disrespectful.
Worked there for 1 year and at the end he still didn't knew my name.
Can't draw tho
Poor Linda, that girl totally disrespected you, all for a free tattoo. Some people have no morals đ đ
Nothing is free! Trust you gonna pay in some way. Opportunist laughing& bragging how they got overđ
I'm strongly suspecting narcissism in that one. Anyone noticing the blameshifting and gaslighting?
Electric Linda the worst client? Who would have thought??? I didnt !!!! Great video!
Omg! She liked my comment! I love your videos and work Electric Linda! Such an inspiration and very professional with your craft!:)
I laughed so hard when he said that, but I get it. I'm a cosmetology student and other hair people are the worst because we're paranoid about saturation of the color or perfect evenness in the cut.
"my worst client is you" đđđđđđ
I would love to get work done by Electric Linda. But I live in Australia. There is something magnetic about you. You are absolutely stunning woman. Your voice and accent is beautiful. And your skill with Ink is superb. Massive fan Lindađđđ
I couldn't have said it better !
Omg why did you give her the money back. Shes just a con trying to get free stuff!!! Its your job. Your way of living.
LMAOOO I SPIT AT THE ONE WITH THE LEVEL I CANNOT BELIEVE SOMEONE WOULD DO THAT LMAOOOOOOOO
Linda, that chick just wanted a free tat from you. I'm sure it look great! đ
Lol your coworker saying you are his worst client! He is awesome! Lol
I kinda had a traumatic experience with a tattoo artist yesterday and I kept replaying in my head what in the world I couldve done wrong to make them not like me and watching this basically reaffirmed that I didn't do anything that would've pissed them off đđđ
Very late to this, but what happened?
The stop watch woman đ Oh my God! That's awful!
P. S. And the woman yelling, and acting out, asking for a job đ Gimme a break!
I'm in love with this womans voice
So soothing
Listening to these, blows my mind how many people float through life without a thought of others. Treat people like it is you living another life
Imagine being one of their customers and realize when watching this that you were that customer!
I love this video so much! Another fun idea would be your collegues and you talking about the best client experience, like if something really nice happened and you remember it for a long time
Great idea! Thanks!
I've learned so much from your vids. I just wanted to say Thank You for explaining the process. I'm 69 and will be getting my first tat in Dec.
Awesome!!! Thank you and lots of good luck! đ
That was so funny with the sternum tattoo. She measured itđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
like what even is the point haha.
And used a level! Wtf đ
@@Morgan-B Just looking for something to be slightly off
Whoa. Underbust chick. I am amazed she had the nerve to get in your face like that. Besides the disrespect itself, and I'm not saying you would actually flatten her. But she doesn't know that. You're not exactly a shrinking violet LOL.
I wanted a quote under my collarbone, basically from armpit to armpit. It took about an hour before another artist wanted to see what the problem was. He took one look at me and said âDude - sheâs crooked.â đ„ș
I love your channel, Electric Linda. I live in the United States and want to plan a vacation/holiday to Norway just to get one of my next tattoos at Attitude. It looks like a wonderful tattoo shop with many great artists.

Love the way you talk, i've never been into tattoo culture but I find it fascinating. I was thinking off getting some tattoos when I get back in shape but still not 100% sure.

I am a first time viewer of your channel, just chillin tonight and my wandering eyes led me to this video.
Your artwork looks incredible (from the "what i wont tattoo" video) also,
I absolutely love how much the dark black background on your arm makes the colorful parts pop (I think it's a flower... ) it looks incredible, reminds me of the tulip scene from pink floyd the wall
I love your channel... Im looking at going over bad old ink and you inspire me. thank you

I didn't realize how painful most ppl find tattoos!! I love them!! Some areas suck sure but ppl really need to stop?

And Iâm really sorry for every bad client-experience you ever had to endure, dear Linda.
Especially the one with the underboob-tat.
That was straight-up mean and immature behaviour.
I always hope Iâm an alright client.

Oh my lord, people are insane! And I thought I was really annoying when I had a small panic attack (I suffer from panic syndrome and the attacks come without any reason most of the time) and had to take a break. My tattoo artist, also named Linda, was very chill about it though and asked me if I wanted a lollipop and she started messing around in a drawer and pulled up a bag of colorful lollipops like I was 5 years old or something đ

When I was getting my ribs tattooed it tickled SO MUCH I was holding in laughter. I told him to wait for a second and burst out laughing almost crying.
